Mel, me too. Really sorry it hasn't worked out this time. I think what your FS is saying is sensible - if you can get more eggs next time (not that this yield was poor by any means) then you'll have a better chance percentage wise.

I'm not sure what the issue is that has led to your PGD, but genetics are a funny thing. DW's paternal side carries the albinism gene which is an autosomal recessive gene that both parents must carry in order for the offspring to potentially acquire the abnormality. In the case of autosomal recessive, with both parents as carriers, there is a one in four chance of the child acquiring that problem. With her grandparents' three kids, two ended up with albinism and one didn't. Statistically, they should've only had one child with it, or even none. On the other hand, a different couple with the same genetic structure may have not even had the issue arise. So the point I am trying to make is that for each time you do PGD, you may get some statistically wacky results. Next throw of the dice may yield the complete opposite, and it's very unlikely you'll strike the same stats twice. I hope this helps in some small way.
