Just to tie up this post, I wanted to give an update on the outome of my doc visit yesterday.

Well, call me ignorant....I had no idea that clipping your tubes meant having them removed!!!! i just thought that they were clipped, and that this was reversible.... Now I understand that they are removed as they can cause more damage left there if they are blocked and dilated.

Anyway, I had a long discussion with the doc about this, and I have decided to just have the lap and hysteroscopy plus the tubal patency thing. There is only a small chance in my case of the tubes being blocked, but I have asked her to NOT clip them during this procedure. Depending on the outcome of the surgery, we may begin IVF.
