    Hi Ladies
Just a quick one as Im at work and busy.

True ~ No headaches for me hun, hoping thats a good thing. Might get POAS tonight and do in the morning. Not holding my breath but it would be a wonderful miracle wouldnt it.
Good luck with the pups - they are so gorgeous. How are you with the needles or havent you started them yet?

Leabie ~ Hi hun, welcome back and thank you. Im hanging in there and just trying again. GL to you sweetie, FX

Hi to the newbies and wishing you all the best.

Im sorry I'll do better persies later but lots of babydust and stickyvibes to all!
AFM ~ Weird tummy pains still, gunna get a POAS tonight I think. Havent had AF since start of my cycle and my loss - so about 2 months. But I would think that would mean it would be more impossible to be pg. Dont know

loops: haven't strated the needles yet start them next wednesady which am still scared but I am just going to suck it up as I keep reminding myself it's not like I am meant to enjoy the needles it's all for a good cause we are down to 6 pups and yes they are very cute and am really attatched to this litter I think it's all the hormones I am on.
Haven't had headaches as such just sort of a dull feeling like there is one on the way that doesn't come which is progress and am enjoying it very much.
Ohhh chick I so hope you get that big neon sign in the morning but yes definately for you no headaches is a great sign do you have ANY of your usual af symptoms?
BTW have heard that apparently after a M/C you are super fertile and can get utd easily I think it has something to do with the m/c cleaning everything out I surpose the same way a lap/curette would.
I have all toes fingers and everything x'd for you chick let me klnow how you go

    Question Here we go again

Sorry ladies -haven't had chance to catch up with everyone's news...

My FS did prescribe presoline (spelling?) - had heard a few bad symptoms connected to this so just wondering how others found it.

Had ET today - embies not doing so well - had a cell 7 and a cell 8 ranked as a 2.5 out of a possible 4 transferred - others not looking so good. Had a new emby divide so now that makes six all up ... FS will see how they go over the next few days rather than freeze now.

Just lying around taking it easy today. Have still been in quite a bit of pain since ET - but FS thinks all is doing well.

Have to say - so far best ET ever!!! FX

    Hi Ladies,
My AF arrived today, so am starting yet another cycle.... this time a FET with hopefully a blast to be transferred. Had a wonderful month off, so much so that I don't know if I want to do this again, but I know the prize is worth it if it all works out. Great to see some BFP's in here, I hope there are a few more in here soon!
It will take me a while to catch-up on where everyone is up to I think but hope everyone is well!

albi, I did acupuncture weekly for 4 months before my last IVF to allow her time to work on my egg quality as much as possible. For the actual IVF cycle I was still just going weekly until EPU. Then I went the the night before my transfer and was supposed to go straight from transfer back to acu but my transfer was cancelled. If your transfer is later in the day a good acu will do a treatment immediately before and then immediately after the transfer. There are certainly plenty of men who go to acu for fertility treatments, but my acu said it will only help (anyone, not just men) if they want to do it, so don't try to force him. I'd guess they may want about 3 months to work on his sperm quality, but even if you don't have that long every bit helps. Plus it's so relaxing!

    Hi Everyone.

Welcome to all the new people, and hope you don't stay with us for too long.

I'm still lurking, but still waiting for scan on Sat (ooh, that's tomorrow and then I find ut when transfer date is. Sometime next week Hopefully adfter Tuesday as I am due to go see Kelly Clarkson Tuesday night and will be really upset if I have to sell my tickets...

I've been doing accupuncture on and off, and I do find it makes me less stressed. I'm not really sure when the right times are. The accupuncturist told me to go twice a week. I have an appointment for later today, and then wil go Sunday and/or the day before transfer. I was petrified of needles before I started with IVF, but hey, be get poked and prodded enough, whats a few more needles Accupuncture is fairly pain free - my new one thought twists the needles a little and that can hurt for less than a second before settling, and I fall asleep.

    Happy Friday everyone!

    Hi All,

GL with your scan babytruj. Hope you get to go to the concert. I saw her last Sat night and she is BRILLIANT!!

Sorry to hear of your BFN, Loops. Big hugs xxx

Lairdoz - here's hoping this blastie is the one!

Chekigal - how are you feeling? Have you had any further updates?

Trueblue - don't stress about the needles. It's amazing how routine it all becomes (although I am a big wuss and DH has to do them for me and I had to go to the Dr's once when he wasn't home)

Hi to everyone else.... I hope you all enjoy your weekend

AFM: Am having a girl's night this weekend which is LONG overdue (I'm talking years!) although I will try to keep it down to only a few beverages. I am about 6-7 weeks off starting a new stim cycle but don't want to jeopardise my egg quality(I feel I am being a bit pedantic - but I tend to walk on eggshells when it comes to all things TTC. Am I being OTT? I need some perspective, I'm not talking binge drinking here but by having 5 or 6 drinks over the course of an afternoon and evening.)

Am also looking forward to my first accupuncture consult on Tues. It's amazing how many of us in this thread are trying acp.

Tantee - honestly hun, I would let your hair down and have a good one. As you said, your next stim cycle is 6- 7weeks away so I don't think one sesh at this point would be too harmful. I hope lots of other girls aren't frowning too hard at me for these thoughts but I don't think 5 -6 drinks is too terrible a thing to do. Hope you have a great night!!
Loops - BOO to BFN, big hugs hunny but I am so glad that you can FINALLY move on
Babytruj - FX for a great scan tomorrow, hope all is looking good for a transfer on Wednesday!!! I tried AP for the first time this cycle and I've gota admit, I was a bit apprehensive but am now a convert and find myself really looking forward to my sessions.
Lairoz - YAY for FET beginning!!! FX that this one is it for you
Chekigal - welsome to the 2ww, hoping it treats you well with as little stress as possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad your ET went well, mine was nasty this time round
Trueblue - honestly sweet, dont stress too much about the needles. I am a self-proclaimed enormous big sooky but even I can handle them. Although I do get DH to do them for me tho. I had to laugh when we did the very first one cos as DH was drawing up the liquid, I just remarked that I was a bit nervous. To which he muttered "don't kno what you've got to be nervous about", as he comes at me brandishing a needle!!!!
Leabie - welcome back and what a haul of eggs Hoping you manage to keep OHSS at bay and that you had a great fert report today
Renee - for that little miracle for you
Albi - welcome and hoping you r stay in here is short and sweet
Kitkat - a big welcome to you too. We were in a similar-ish boat to you and tried for ages before DH actually went and got his fellas checked out. In one way, Ithink that my GP has a lot to answer to because I went to see her A LOT about our fertility issues and it wasn't until I put my foot down about an FS referral that she actually asked for an SA. Sounds like you are off to a flying start and heres hoping all continues to look food for Tuesday
My poor wee brain is feeling a bit fried. I'm doing the 2ww hard this time round so have really just been lurking. 4 more sleeps to go before I am put out of my misery - I'm THE worst company in the world atm and tomorrow is my birthday so will be forced to be sociable. Not in the mood

Melissal - we all know far too well how tough this is but I was just reading in the 2WW about your issues with your BFP test. That makes it more interesting doesn't it! I will really be hoping for you that you join the BFP club as you deserve to be there HAPPY BIRTHDAY for tomorrow too!
Tantee - the best thing you can do is relax and NOT think about all this awful TTC stuff. You are more likely to be stressed if you aren't doing things that you can relax and enjoy. Have a great time and it is PERFECTLY normal to feel sensitive about TTC'ing, that's why it's good to experience other things to give you perspective.
Babytruj - Goodluck for the scan on Saturday!
chekigal - Your embies sound pretty good to me, I hope they continue to grow and turn into a nice BFP for you.
Loops12 - sorry it wasn't your month, but you have a nice holiday pretty soon don't you?
Trueblue - the needles really are easy. I found them theraputic if only because it felt like I was doing something and it certainly makes time go past quickly!!
Hi to all the new ladies and everyone I have missed!

AFM- Had a bit of a stress on only day 2 of my cycle as I have 2x day 3 embies and 4 x blasties in the freezer and they wanted to thaw both the day 3 embies, then rethaw one if they both made it to blast. I had no idea what to do, but I was kind of hoping to spend a bit less because the thaw and refreeze was going to cost us $2000 out of pocket which is crazy for a FET given this will be our 5th cycle already this year! So have decided on a blastie transfer but have absolutely no faith after having so many failures already this year.

    Low Hcg

    Hello Ladies,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post my question. I want to know if anyone else has had low Hcg and then gone on to be pregnant. I've just finished the 2WW. Because my embryo transfer was on a Saturday my blood test was this Friday (one day early the nurse told me)
Anyway, because I'd done a HPT (I know I wasn't supposed to) which came back positive twice (with a faint line) I was expecting good news but the nurse said it was inconclusive and I should re-test again on Monday.
It seems that my Hcg levels are around 20 when they should be around 100. I'm devastated. I take heart in the fact that I haven't started to bleed yet (but tht could just be the Crinone).
Has anyone else been in this situation? What was the outcome? (I don't just want to hear positive stories)
    Thanks
    Good luck to you all
    Maggie

    Hi ladies,

Maggie Hi, that could indicate that you have had a chemical pregnancy or it could just be that one day too soon. I had two results similar to yours and both were chemicals. Don't lose heart but, it is a good sign that something did try to happen or is still happening. GL with it.

GL to all those waiting anxiously in the TWW and those who are part way through their cycles.

Well here it is ........ I did my POAS this morning and OMG i got a BFP straight awayI can't believe it!!! I am trying to get an appointment with my clinic to get a BT done today just to be sure, but there are no drugs which can cause a false positive this time. I don't know what to feel it has been two long years since we began trying and to end up falling naturally is a huge shock. I will keep you all posted.

    Hi lovely ladies

    Firstly...

Renee - OMG!!! CONGRATULATIONS sweetie! Sooo happy for your excellent news! Hope the BT brings lovely high numbers. How funny, that it ended up being on a natural cycle

Marcellus - thanks for your advice too. We've had a long chat with the embryologist, and decided to go for broke this cycle and grow them all out to day 5. If that doesn't work, next stim cycle we'll try some day 3s.

Loops - I'm so sorry to hear your news hun. Be kind to yourself, and have a wonderful time on your holiday, decompress and get stuck into that beautiful Tassie cheese and wine!

Chekigal - hope your feeling good and FX that the little embie is burrowing in nicely!

Albi - go the acupuncture - its great! I'm convinced that my acupuncturist is helping keep OHSS at bay for me, I love her. Doing it to grow strong eggies, then before and after transfer. The way I look at it is, I'll throw everything I can at this TTC thing! No regrets.

Babytruj - hope the scan today goes well and your transfer is next WEDNESDAY!

Tantee - have a great girls night. Me personally, I'd be having a few bevvies! We've got to stay somewhat sane in this crazy ride, don't we?!

Melissal - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you have a great day, only 3 more sleeps to go. Hang in there. Thanks for your kind words - OHSS is still lurking, but I'm doing much better than I should be, apparently!

HI to anyone I've missed! Gotta fly, got a girlfriend coming over for morning tea. Have a great long weekend!

    Good morning,

OMG Renee!!! How wonderful. What a great surprise. I hope you can get in for your BT ASAP. You must be in shock!!

Leabie - Enjoy your morning tea. It is great to have some time out. I hope you manage to keep your OHSS at bay.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Melissal - Have a good day. I'm sorry that this month is so agonising for you. I hope the next couple of days are kind to you and you get a wonderful belated birthday gift. Some months are just harder than others aren't they?

Lairdoz - I think the blastie plan sounds good. You have had such a full on year already and it's only April. My fingers are crossed for you that this will be the last cycle you need for a long time.

Maggie - I'm sorry, but I am not much use to you as I have not had a BFP but I have heard that even a lower level can result in a healthy preg as long as the numbers are doubling and cathch up. Good luck on Monday, I hope your results are clearer for you.

Hope all you other ladies are doing well and have some fun stuff planned for the long weekend and take some time out from this crazy TTC world.
GL to those of you in the 2WW.

AFM: Think I will chill out and have a few bevvies with the girls tonight (thanks for the perspective ladies) -nothing crazy, but just relax and hang out with no distractions.

    Lazy Saturday

    Hi Ladies,

I hope you are all having a good day and enjoying the long weekend. Maggie, I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you , and it is fabulous to hear of your BFP, Renee!

AFM, I had my 2nd scan yesterday. The doc has now seen 8 good-sized follies, including 3 (from memory) in the 20-22mm range. We are set to trigger tomorrow evening for EPU on Tuesday. Unfortunately, he also told me that estradiol levels were a lot lower than he would have expected for the # of follicles he's seeing (2970 at Day 7 of stims). He said that he would usually only expect 3-4 eggs from that level. So now I'm wondering if half of my follicles are empty, or if perhaps I'm just somebody whose eggs produce less estrogen than other people. I'd love to hear if any of you were in a similar position and what the outcome was as far as # of eggs produced at pick up.

Thanks everyone, and wishing you all good luck wherever you are in your cycle!
