~Star-bright~ what does a trial transfer involve?

Does your clinic offer sedated transfer? I have to go under aneasthetic when I have mine cause its too uncomfortable for me and I don't like it at all. Last transfer they couldnt get an anesthatist in on a Saturday for me - I offered to "try" to do it without any sedation - and was basically told no- because its a known fact that if the transfer is traumatic it wont work.
