All over for this month. Funny, even when you convince yourself there is no chance you still get upset when it happens.

Have a great day tomorrow Melanie, hope it goes as well - and congrats on the follies. What a big week!

Well... bound to have ovulated by now, and the enormous red welt on my belly is finally starting to fade.

I feel absolutely no different - no symptoms, nothing. Is there any possibility my body could fail to ovulate, even after a trigger shot?

    Busy Busy Bees in here!

Dream Bub- the only other thing I have to add about Metformin, is that my cycles were long and irregular, and we were TTC for over a year before I started Metformin. One month after Metforim, I was pg- so it seemed to work for us. Pitty that was the least of our TTC problems!!

Loula- PGD is Pre Genetic Diagnosis. What they do is develop a probe for yours or your DH's genetics ( depends who has the issue) and that probe enables them to test any embryos for the Genetic problem, ie parkinsons diesease, down syndrome, translocation etc. They then can work out which embroys would be best to implant. MIVF have some great information expalining it.

Regarding Genetic Testing, our FS said that they testing more often now for our problem- translocation, as it seems to be more common than they thought, and quite a common reason for m/c. There is also a link between a translocation and low/bad quality sperm. Therefore a lot of people who do PGD also use ICSI. In our case we were lucky, and that was not the situation, so we only need PGD.

Mel Bel- so excited your scan went well. Hope mine goes as well tomorrow. We may then end up having EPU same or similar days!! Are you at Freemasons?

Hi Girls, just thought id pop in.

I hope all went well yesterday with the wedding Melbel, would love to see some pics but understand.

Well Bt id tomorrow! Having af cramping a little but sure im not pg. i would be flabagasted if they said i was.

Already thinking what to do about next cycle

    a) i have two embies frozen with MIVF
    b) I have 8 embies froxen with Monash (since 2004)
    c) I have a written letter that my next FET with Monash will be bulked billed (due to stuff up)

So i dont know what to do. im thinking i might start another full stim cycle while i can with MIVF as i dont want to get to TF and be told that both embies have not been viable! and to uterlise the bulk cycle with Monash i have to see a FS from the clinic first and i cant get in until the end of march and as i havnt been there for over a year i need another referal from my gp. and as im expecting my af within the next week or so i will be too far along in my cycle to start and dont want to miss another month.

    BBL Dh wants the puter

    Hi Ladies
Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!

Melbel - Hope the wedding was fantastic and you enjoyed every minute!!

Loula - Good luck with the bt tomorrow fingers crossed!

Well i am very excited today.. i just had my last puregon injection thank goodness!! Though i think my phobia in needles had decreased.... just a little!

Had my day 8 scan on Thursday and dr saw at least 10 follies - not sure if that is a good number or not? So i have a wonderful date with an internal scanner at 6:40am tomorrow.. GOOD MORNING! To see how many we have and pick up will be midday Wednesday.. i can hardly believe it is coming up! Then because we are doing ICSI and growing to blastocyst we will have transfer a week tomorrow! KInda very scary and very exciting at the same time..

I also had my first acupuncture appointment on Thursday with Andrew Orr at Shen Therapies.. seemed okay lots of needles in the belly and a heater over the top to increase blood flow.. seemed to ease off the aching i was having but all my purgon injections in the days since hurt a lot more and seem to bleed afterwards?

Anyway i will stop waffling on.. wishing everyone luck!

    Hi Girls,

    Hope all are well.

Melbel - Hope you had a great day on Saturday - my Wedding was definately the most memorable day of my life so far, it went so quick though. I hope you had a ball.

Lou - Fingers crossed for you. Waiting for you to post and hoping for a BFP, you never know. If news is not so great then you have a few choices to make. Its great that you have so many snow bubs! My clinic will not allow a full STim cycle to go ahead if you have frozens on ice...I would love to though, as every time I have an FET theres on ly 1 & I am secretly hoping for twins.

Shannon - 10 follies is good a good number - if I recall correctly this is your first full stim?? Even better if thats the case...

As for me AF arrived on Friday, Nearly over now, so I guess I will be preparing for an FET in about 2-3 weeks. Not sure what to do though as I also have an appt with Dr Sacks in Sydney on the immunology issues and he suggested waiting to do the FET until after the appt. I know it makes sense but I am very impatient and want to do the FET ASAP.....also I havent yet told my FS that I have an appt with Dr Sacks.

    Hi Melbel,

I hope you had a fantastic wedding day. I am sure it was everything you dreamed of.

Everyone else, I'm so sorry for the lack of personals - I've not logged on for a week and can't catch up!

Not much news from here, I've started with the chinese herbs (tablet form), and have another acupuncture treatment on Wednesday. Still 4 weeks until we get the results of the genetic testing I am hopefully finishing work next week (yippee!), after resigning 2 months ago, finally they've found a replacement. I'm going to take it easy and try and look after myself to get to optimum health for the next full stim cycle.

Having a bad day - just had a big row with DH - over something stupid. Now I feel bad and have apologised. I don't know why I get so annoyed and cross - I'm not even on any ivf drugs at the moment (for a change).

    Hope you're all well!

Juat thought id let you in on the results of my BT. as i knew deep down it was a BFN. not even a raised HCG at all. (which i always check as i have had it raised twice but not enought to confirm a healthy pg)

so back to the board room for up. my np is going to give me some herbs to improve my circluation, my hands and feet are always cold! I dont know if i can do another stim i havent checked yet and so i dont know if they'll let me. i hope so if im taking all new herbs might get DH on some too.

    hope everyone else is ok

I'm sorry, Lou. Seems to me that no matter how expected it is, it's still devestating to get that news.

I've been having a pretty crappy time lately... won't go into it now, had a bit of a vent earlier. And a chat with a friend who has been an egg donor in the past which cheered me up a little. Have a long way to go, though.

I still have a huge mark where I had the trigger shot last week! I hope I can remember to ask about that when I'm at the clinic tomorrow. Have to be up at some ungodly hour to have another blood test... back to the synarel tomorrow - ugh!

hey bw - i did read your vent and didnt know what to write other than sorry and i do know how you feel (i hate it when people say that but in here we really do know how each other feels)

Anyway looks like next time we may be cycle buddies as as soon as af is here i jumping back on i think its the only way i can cope.
