Awwww, thanks Dan!! You're so sweet hun, everything went pretty well today. I managed to DTD this morning, I always do it before my transfer (except the last FET just before Christmas, it was the only time we missed out on DTD). I had a great doctor who did the transfer, except I drank too much as always (I think I have a very small bladder lol) and I had to quicky relieve myself a bit. I saw blobbie on the screen, it was lovely. My 3 day embie did beautifully overnight, it was a compacting morula today so technically a day 4???? I have everything crossed for this cycle, praying praying!!! On another note, I don't blame you for being scared of having twins again, twin or multiple pg is always high risk. I so wish I had twinnies the first time around, I would have been done by now! In any case, let's hope it will be a singleton for you next time, can't wait for you to pop in the 2WW to keep me company

So ladies, I am currently PUPO

Yay Miss B - PUPO!!! I'm so excited for you! I'm actually looking forward to the 2ww this time, where you get to believe you may be pregnant and hopefully are I am praying for us and for everyone else that we get our happy little Easter bunnies as a beautiful Easter surprise

I have a great feeling this time for you Miss B. You sound super relaxed about everything and I always think that plays a huge role in success enjoy your weekend of knowing you have. Beautiful embie right were it should be! Fabulous news that it was already a morula on transfer!! Woo hoo - it sounds like one busy and hardworking hopefully over achieving embie Who knows you may even get identicals

I dreamed last night that I had identical boys this cycle for about 30 seconds I felt excited and then I realized that all I wanted is one little bubba to focus everything on instead of trying to divide my focus to two. I will take whatever I am given btw I jut really want embies to survive the thaw and have a good one to transfer. First blood test tomorrow and I'm so nervous but I really jut can't wait!

    Xx

Lol 3rd time lucky, sounds like these twinnie dreams are freaking you out! Well, you already know the hard work that goes into having twins. Plus you only had one embie transferred that decided it wanted to be two lol. I really hope you're right hun, I'd love to stop TTC actually. I am getting older and I don't want to be over 60 going to my children's 21st birthday parties! I am relaxed this time, I think listening to that fertility cd really helped me to get ready for my FET, and even now it's helping me to stay relaxed. I am eating better, I am drinking loads of water every day (I am usually a very poor drinker) as the acu lady that I used to see last year told me that plenty of water was essential when doing a cycle or TTC. Oh, and I gave up my 'one a day' ciggie habit a couple of months ago. So I kinda feel that I have gone into this FET as prepared as I could be.

Oooh I didn't see your post hun, yay!!!!! How exciting that you'll have your transfer soon. Can't wait for you to join me in the 2WW . GL sweetie

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

Yay for the water Miss B - how are you feeling btw? I know what you mean about the age thing - but hey 60is the new 50 or so I keep telling myself hahahaha.

That fertility Cd sounds amazing! I wish I had've done that! It sounds brilliant! I think you've done everything you could possibly done so now sit back and just enjoy the ride as much as possible?

Well I just had my bloods and the ultrasound done... 3 follicles on my right side size 9, 16 and 17 - I'm not really sure what that means but I don't think it's even relevant in FET other than to show you were going to ovulate?

My lining is 8 - the ultrasound lady said my FS liked between 7 and 8 so I guess that's good? They have given me the ovidrel (trigger injection). They will call this afternoon and tell me whether to use it I suppose? I'm only day 10 so I don't know whether that's good or bad? Unfortunately my DH is going away tomorrow - so he will be away for my transfer day.... Not much I can do about that really I suppose, and if I triggered tonight then I guess transfer will be this Saturday - which I'm thrilled about as it's on a weekend, so I can kind of chill out afterwards I guess. Although I'll have all 4 kids alone as our nanny has the weekend off - and we have a new nanny starting on Thursday (devastated our current nanny's time has come to return home so pretty emotional about her leaving as well.

Damn Clomid - I can't stop crying!!! And I've put on 5kgs!!!! Is that normal? How is everyone else going? Judging by the list everyone is fairly quiet in here... So I feel like my posts are all about me as I don't have anyone else to write about? Sorry

Juniper how are you going in the 2ww? And TT40 - have you tested again? I strongly encourage testing at all times, especially in the middle of the night etc when you can't sleep.... I am hopeless!!! I hope you are both surviving the dreaded wait! Symptoms or anything to report?

I have a last question... If I have to use the trigger - does that mean if I tested I would get false positives? I'm assuming the trigger is hcg and would give you a positive pg test result? Does anyone know how long it takes for the trigger to leave your system? What are you supposed to do btw - just start testing from the day after trigger and keep testing until you get a negative so you know the trigger is out of your system? And then start testing again for a result? I've even forgotten - after a day 5 transfer, when are you supposed to start testing to realistically get a positive result, if you are pg?

Sorry for all the questions ladies.... Its just been so long and I'm feeling a little bit anxious now that it is all becoming so real... Xx

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

Nothing to report here. Still early days - too early for implantation or symptoms. Just run down and tired and a bit under the weather...

3rdTL, yes, the trigger will give you false positives. The time it takes to be metabolised varies from one woman to the next. If you want to test it out, you can start the day after or wait a few days. The key will always be whether the tests are getting lighter (trigger disappearing) or darker (real BFP with increasing levels). Very few women get a BFP before 10dpo (5dp5dt) and you could still have faint (false) BFPs from the trigger that early (although, it's also possible the trigger could be gone by then).

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

With my trigger shot cycles (all fresh cycles) I would basically start testing really early on (something like 1 or 2 days post transfer) and I would see that faint line, and then it would disappear and I'd know that the trigger left the building lol. In the BFP cycle that resulted in an early m/c, I tested very early on, and then there was a day which gave me a negative result, and then the line came back and I knew I had a bfp. But that was in my crazy, mad woman obsessed, queen of POAS days lol. I'm not even thinking of buying a test, sooooooo scared of another you know what...
FX that you'll not need the trigger shot hun!

Have been offline for a few days - sooo much to catch up on!

Ooooo GL to all the ladies in TWW and waiting for transfers - i have my fingers crossed for you.

AFM, I'm cycle tracking again this month, nothing so far and another BT to check for O tomorrow. Hoping it comes up and DH and I can get down to business! My gyno says she has all faith that I can conceive without assistance, it will just take time. However lately I have been going through that phase where everyone and everything reminds me of babies - from friend's kids, to baby clothes and even pregnant strangers in the street. Not sure if anyone else goes through this and I'm trying not get disheartened but it just seems to be a constant reminder IFYKWIM?

Lots of baby dust to all - we need some BFPs in here!!!

TT40, FX it's just a "late bloomer". Happens a lot with FETs. :hugs:

Joski, GL with the b/t and catching the egg! I agree we need some BFPs, but you might have to lead by example...

Hi Ladies, sorry I have been mia for a few days

I see I have missed out on quiet a bit in here so a big GL to the Ladies in the TWW

Hi and welcome to the forum Third time lucky, hoping your stay is a short and sweet one!

TT40 - Sorry to hear you are not getting a positive with the tests, hope a BFP comes through for you, big hugs hun

Joski - I feel like you from time to time certian times of the month seem to be worse, not sure if thats hormone related. I have started gathering things in prep for SIL babyshower which I assume wont be till June but damn it is so hard buying baby things as I want to start buying for me!!! A lady at work had her bub last Friday a little girl she named Mia Grace a little cutie but again so hard as happy as you are for them it's heartbreaking for us. I have not idea what to say or suggest to change how you feel seems this is just the horrible side effects of LTTTC

Juniper - hope you have perked up and are feeling better

Miss B - Big congrats on being PUPO, woohooo

AFM - Started spotting today, not feeling any symptoms so I am sure it's the usual spotting before AF. I am going to test in the morning and if negative will start taking Dongquai as per Acu lady and parsley tea see if I can help AF get back to a normal cycle
Then once AF starts its going to be time to call the clinic and start my FET cycle. I feel nervous I am guessing it's because I am dreading the needles again I can't recall what meds I am on I have the scripts at home though so will have to get them out and make sure they are on hand to go fill the scripts when the time comes. Can't beleive I am back here again if someone had told me it's was going to take more than 4 years to conceive I would have told them theyre dreaming!!

Anyway Ladies, GL to you all. Love and light and baby dust to us all xx
Totally agree we need to start seeing some BFP

    I'm sorry TT40, I too hope it's a late implanter

Joski, I really hope that you can conceive naturally too! Babies are EVERYWHERE, it's so hard

Positively, you're almost there! Hoo hoo! Very exciting GL with your FET hun x

AFM, just plodding along. I feel sick in the stomach wondering what is or is not happening in there. The cd is great but I wish I could listen to it all day long! lol.
