Just a reminder to all: all LTers love seeing a fellow LTer achieve that longed-for BFP, and we all find hope in one of our own having success in this difficult journey. But please remember that there are those who cycled with you who may not have received good news at the end of their cycle. Please do not post baby/child/pg tickers or pg related signatures (eg blinking BFP icons) etc in this forum out of respect for them.

As it's easy to forget to remove your ticker, please be advised that we will remove it for you if it's posted in here. Just easier, is all.

    Hello ladies,

Just thought i would pop in to say hi.

Bec i hope that your transfer went well today.

As for me, nothing happening. AF only stuck around for two days which was good so now im just enjoying not taking any meds and not focusing on anything in particular except looking forward to my FS appointment i guess.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

SO GLAD ITS A LONG WEEKEND

Unfortunately I wont be moving into the TWW thread, OHSS was too bad for me to have transfer done. My FS did an ultrasound which showed fluid in my chest and abdomen and my ovaries are ridiculously huge. Haven't been able to keep any food or water done all day, if I can't hold something down soon we will head to the hospital.

Am trying not to think about the transfer too much, I can't deal with the emotions of that in addition to being sick right now.

Bec sweets- So sorry to hear your OHSS is bad and you didn't get a TF done today. But honestly it is so much better for you to be is great shape when having a TF done. My first TF was done 2 days after EPU and I was still really uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. At the end of it all I got a BFN and was truly devastated. The next month after resting and recouping I had another TF done and got a BFP. For me at least, I just think my body had gone through too much in such a short amount of time first time round. I know you have had so many disappointments in the past, but at least now all your little embies have a great chance of giving you a BFP when your body is healed and rested. Stay strong and just focus now on getting yourself well again. I'm thinking of you.

    Hugs Bel

Bec so sorry to hear that OHSS has affected you. Look after yourself hun, its the most important thing at the moment

Something really weird has happened to me today. I had AF show up last Tuesday and it lasted for about two days, so by thursday night it was completely gone. Today however, i have had some more red blood. Only visible when i wipe and a little on the liner but its definately there! I dont know if i should ring the clinic or just ignore it??

Hi Ladies, Hope you've all had a relaxing long weekend.
Just a quick drop in to say Hi and check how you're all going. We went back to FS last week for a follow-up on our last IVF. His only concern is the quality of my egg, but we're ready to start again at next AF.
Bec-Hope the OHSS settles down & u'r starting to feel better soon.
Paula-I'd be ringing the clinic - more for your peace of mind than anything else.
TL -I'm really enjoying that book.
    to all!!!

izzylou.... I hope AF shows quickly so you can start on your next round of IVF

Paula... good luck with your test tomorrow

Birthday Buddy... Good to see you... Thrilled for you that everything is going well...

JBM...Hope your boys are feeling better...

As For Me... We made an appointment today for the FS...no appointments available until the end of August..... Then rang our health fund to check on when our "waiting period" is up and it is also at the end of August. So I suppose this time around we will be covered by private health care..... mind you I have no idea what the cover

Oh Smithy im so sorry to hear that. Still go for your blood test though because you just never know. The nurse told me today that regardless of if you think its AF, you should always have your BT just in case. My thoughts are with you hun

Angel Babies it totally stinks that we have to wait so long to see FS doesnt it?! At least you will be covered with you health fund again by then.

Well i went in for my BT this morning to try get some answers for my spontaneous bleeding. Its very light but its been hanging around since Monday. The nurse said that sometimes, although its not a valid pregnancy, there might still be HCG present which means there could have been implantation which is a step in the right direction. So i guess i just have to wait and see what they tell me this afternoon.
