Phew... so much is going on in here. I have been MIA for a while. I will attempt persies, but please forgive me if I'm a bit behind...

Juniper - I'm happy to hear that your FS is feeling confident. Now that you both know exactly what you are dealing with, it will be so much better to treat. How are you feeling? I am almost 100% now after my Lap (with just the occasional tingle in my bellybutton - weird I know).

Loops - what can I say? Big hugs to you. Like you said, you got another step closer than you have been before. Next time is onwards and upwards for you. You have been on the big kahuna of rollercoasters with your cycle this month

Lairdoz - They drive you bananas sometimes. Absolutely NFI sometimes and then can be ultra supportive and sensible at others.

Brunette - Gl on Friday.

Marcellus - Congrats on your blastie. Hope your 2ww does not drag out too long for you.

Krisgray - Welcome. I am with SIVF. The prices are staggering, however I have heard great things. We have not yet started our cycle but am impressed so far.

Kmm - This is a great place to be to share your experience, vent and have unjudgemental support.

Mellttc - I know how you feel. In the 3 & ½ years we have been TTC, I have had to buy 19 new baby presents for family, friends and colleagues. Yep 19! I sometimes feel like the elephant in the room around people with babies. I had a close friend call be on the day before my IVF cylce that she was pregnant with #5 (8th pregnancy – 3 terminated) and she didn’t know how it happened and it wasn’t planned! Oops! etc etc. I was further upset later – when she and hubby dropped the kids around on their way to the hospital whilst she had bub – that he said “this one was all your idea”.
I can understand that people may feel cautious, it’s a difficult situation and it sounds like your sis meant well and is very caring. I know tho, that it is still very upsetting.

Renee - GL with your FET. When will it be? It is easy to feel like a pincushion at times.

CK77 - GL for EPU onFriday. Sounds like you don't have a lot of faith in your FS. Hope you get all your answers from his colleague. Are you able to switch?

BTB - Emerald - If you are lurking - a big fat hi to you both. I hope you are travelling well.

AFM - Like I said I have been out of action for a bit just trying to regroup. I had my appointment with my FS after my Lap. I have stage 4 endo - he removed some, but also have it quite extensively on my bowel (which more than likely will have to be resectioned at some time down the track). Good news is that he removed some from my uterer. If it had been allowed to grow and penetrate it, it was a possibility that I may have lost a kidney in 5 years or so.
So, I am on medication now for 3 months (1 injection/month) before my next stim cycle. This puts your body into a menopausal state to allow the endo to settle a bit. The main side effects so far is extreme tiredness and I struggle to stay awake past 8pm!
I am still lurking in here but am feeling frustrated that I have to wait another 3 months although my FS said this will increase my chances on the stim cylce. It feels so contradictory to what I want to be doing so I am trying to mentally distance myself all from it all a bit. But you girls in here have been such a great support, I don’t know if I can stay away lol.
BTW – I found a really good book at my local library called. ‘A Few Good Eggs – Two chicks Dish on Overcoming the Insanity of Infertility’. Two ladies in the US who have been through the TTC journey have gotten together to write a candid account of TTC and all the wonderful stuff it entails ie medical facts, relationships, obsessing over cylces, TWW’s etc. It also has a lot of anecdotes from other women. So far, it's a good read if anyone's looking for something other than google to satisfy their hunger for knowledge LOL. (I am the google queen)
