Thanks so much for responding. It sounds dodgy, doesn't it!? DH was told that the day surgery and FS costs were sent directly to our health fund and were covered completely by them. This seems weird because a) our original cycle and two subsequent FETs were done in Queensland (with the same organisation) and nothing was covered by our health fund and b) our last FET here in Sydney with this clinic went ahead and there was no mention of additional costs covered by the health fund and no documentation to indicate that anything was paid by them.

DH has said he will call again tomorrow and try to speak with a practice manager or someone. It's so infuruating and adds insult to injury when it was our last embryo and we now need to cough up to do it all again. DH has started on the conspiracy theories. Oh dear...
