    Hi ladies,
    Just a little rant..
its been a few hard days, but i think we are getting over the shock of it now.The nurses at my clinic made me appointment for my FS for tomorrow morning to ask lots of questions, so that makes me feel a lot better, im sorry that i ditch you all i was just so upset and heart broken i didnt want to bring all you down with me. i just cant understand how our egg could fertilize and then just stop? i keep asking myself did they do something wrong, like leave it out of the incubator to long maybe, or did they wait to long to put the egg and sperm together?but anyway theres lots of questions...

Em Star - how awful you must be feeling i know theres nothing to say to make you feel better but i do hope it gets better

Loops - sorry to hear AF has come..... its just not fair

MelissaI- guess you are feeling the same as some of us, i agree we all need a group hug

.melttc- good luck with your cycle

Renee - wishing you the best hope we get some good news in here soon.

Miss K - not to long now, im so glad your going strong! got everything crossed for you

To anyone i have miss , theres just so many now ... wishing you all the best .

    Hi to all

Hello to anyone i haven't met and hi to all those i have.

To those ladies who are feeling a bit down i hope each passing day makes it a little bit easier.

To those starting the process all the very best over the next couple of weeks.

Miss K - How's things with you! Is the TWW getting to you? not long now.

littlegem - thanks i'm hard!!! I don't think they know why some continue to fertilse and some don't. We had 7 fertilse right up to day 4, then come day 5 three hadn't developed anymore. I know my first cycle we had 12 fertilse and ended up with one. The clinic told me that the quality of my eggs during that cycle were poor and that was why they all didn't make it. Hope you get the answers you need

ATM - I am trying to keep very busy and very positive. warning, just a question, i am using the crinone gel twice a day and yesterday i had some of the build up come out as it does, and there was a slight pink tinge to it. Has this happened to anyone else? yesterday was only 3 days after ET, so way too early for AF, right? I promised myself i wouldn't read into too much but it is soo hard!! Apart from that i feel really good and positive about it this time, i know that sounds weird.

Melttc ~ thanks hun. My uncle is a naturopath so yes we both have tablets he has given us and I def think they helped as well as the Menevit DH has been on because everything was a bit better this time, DH count was a lot better and mobility and we did get a HCG reading so that is what is keeping me going at the moment. Thanks for the help though.
    GL leading up to Monday!

Brunette ~ all the best for March 1! Hope you get that BFP very soon!

BJ ~ thanks for the lovely hugs! Hugs back to you and how are you going, hope things are starting to get a bit easier.

Littlegem ~ rant all you want, me can all help you. Unfortunately I think some just dont make it, we had a few go in the first few days after EPU. I think it is usually just the quality. Feeling for you sweetie Next time I hope they get a lot more eggs for you. Hang in there - the docs will sort something out.

Renee ~ thanks hun! GL with everything, sounds more like implantation blood at day 3 or possibly from the cathetor, def dont think it would be AF yet. Stay positive!

Hey all, I was MIA for one day (had to attend a conference) and so much has happened!!

Em Star - I was talking to a lady today at my FS and she said the same thing - its too early to see it yet - but that doesn't mean its not there!! for you!!

Loops - Sorry to hear AF arrived in full force. Hope the tractor sells quickly and your get the BFP that your so deserve.

Littlegem - I'm really sorry that none turned out. Just remember we are all here for you if you need to talk!!

Renee and Miss K - hope you both are surviving the 2ww. FX that you guys get some nice big fat positives soon! I'm counting on the fact that by the time I come to on Monday after EPU I'll be able to read the BFP from Miss K!!

Melissal - what is happening? We are here for you ...

Melttc & Brunette- hi and good luck!! your time in this thread is short and sweet!!

Hi to anyone else I missed.

AFM - I went to the acupunturist yesterday afternoon - she said that if you have acupunture before and after ET, it increases your chances by 42% - 65% (or something like that...) So she is just around the corner from the Day surgery place so I'm going to give it a go - If it can't hurt, why not!! I had another scan this morning - FS said that there are now 8 on one side and 5 on the other. He's upping my dosage of FHS a little to. So we are on track for EPU on Monday and ET on Wednesday!!

littlegem It's so hard when stuff like that happens. You can always offload in here - it's a safe place to do so. It's hard in real life to find people that get it - thank goodness for bb.

Renee - I've never been on crinone, but can't it sometimes cause spotting...? If it's only a little, then hopefuly it's implantation, particularly at this stage.

all the best mum-2-be for EPU & transfer! You've reminded me that I wanted to try acupuncture this time round too!

Brunette - all the best for your transfer, it's so soon! I'll be on those hormones, but have to do it the whole cycle and up to week 12-14 if successful as they take over completely from the ovaries.

Hope you're still happily jabbing melttc

Still hanging in there EmStar? I hope it was just too early and that you've found comfort in the arms of your DH and other loved ones.

I'm hanging out for the next bfp...

renee: TWW is so hard, i wish i could make it go faster. good luck to you
loops: hi, that nasty AF, go away, sending you a BIG HUG. x o
mum2b: acupuncture is so good, and relaxing, actually it was the ladies in here that atlked about it all the time that made me start going, thanks guys for that, i love it and have gone regularly now for prob 18 months or so. i love it. good luck with EPU on mon and ET on wed, fingers crossed.

marcellus: hi and welcome, i just went and read your success story, thanks for that, it is good for us to see these things and see some light at the end of the tunnel. good luck FET

    melissal: hi
melttc: 2nd IVF for us too, so much more relaxed, i may try yoga too. also shiatsu massage is very relaxing and safe to do when TTC.

    bj81: hi, yes lots happening
brunette: not long to go til ET, good luck to you.

AFM: well obviously i do not have a life ATM, i am supposed to be working ATM but hey i have finished all my jobs, so i deserve to be on BB.
i have been on BB every day for ages, sometimes i am annoyed when i don't have time to get on here. LOL
8 days til FS app for me.
i am going to be a bit more relaxed this round, at least i know whats going to happen now, it may make it a bit easier.
i am a bit worried because i just seem to pick up every "little"bug after 1st IVF/ ICSI but i am taking loads of supplements this time and so much more relaxed than before.

hope this makes for a BFP for me in a few months, woohoo.

    chat soon

Hi Renee - In answer to your question, I have been on pessaries for all my IUIs and IVF cycles (stim and frozen). I am given two types depending on what treatment I am getting -either white progesterone ones or the Crinone ones. Warning: TMI is coming: I quite frequently got a pink-tinged discharge. I've been told that the Crinone can upset things down there and even cause thrush in some people. GL for this cycle!

Hi Loops! Sorry to hear your news. I too hope you can sell that tractor for a really great price so you can do another cycle.

M2B - I have read of good statistics online about acupuncture increasing your chances of success if you have it before and after ET. I started seeing one this year - that is why I did the detox, too - and it is quite relaxing. I am booked in to get treatment before and just after my ET. GL to you!

Hi JBM - After the first cycle, you know more what to expect, hey? I have never got sick during a cycle - touch wood - but maybe that's because we're on so many supplements, too. I feel as if I don't need to have breakfast after I've ingested about 15 tablets in the morning. GL this cycle.

Marcellus - It sounds from what you've said that I'm doing a HRT FET and I didn't even know it I have a problem with spotting in between natural cycles, so I've always been given the pessaries. If I ever fall pregnant - please let it be this cycle! - my FS wants me to be on them until 12 weeks, I think. Have you also tried acupuncture in previous cycles?

Hi to all the other ladies I have missed. Hope you are all feeling strong and positive. Sending some good vibes your way now!

Littlegem - I hope you get some answers as to why tomorrow!!! I am sorry to hear about the outcome for you soo far

Renee - The pink is completely normal I hope your not too insane yet at 4dpt!!!

Mum-2-Be - Good Luck for mondays EPU!! FX! Are you excited about it?

JBM - That FS appointment will be here before you know it!!! I have been on BB nearly everyday too its my addiction though its been a bit quiet I have found...

Melttc - How is the jabbing going??

Lairdoz - How confusing are all of these changes!!! I really hate all the medicare changes and capping that have come in place!!

Marcellus - Welcome welcome welcome (even though I know you're always lurking in here hehe) I am unsure about the FET but would like to know for future referance... I hear you with the "damn ovaries" phrase no matter how much you poke them they never want to wake up *rolls eyes*

AFM - Plodding along at 7DPT and no symptoms here other than a little bit of sooky lala, My BT is due 2weeks before our angel would have turned one I think thats whats all getting to me ... Though I am trying to keep busy... The nurses at QFG have called me every few days and checked up on me incase of OHSS and to make sure all is well I thought that was lovely!

    Hi ladies

well I'm finally back from my lovely holiday in Thailand relaxed and ready to go. It seems that is 3 weeks so much can happen in this space.

Sorry for no personals I think at the moment I'm way out of the loop but I promise to come on more regulary now and catch up.

To all you lovely ladies going thorugh your cycles good luck and may we really start to hear of some BFP's.

AFM still in limbo. Have my appoitment with immunoligist 16 March so until then I can't do anything I'm just hoping that I don't need to do anymore testing and that he can just prescribe what I need to stop my body rejecting my little snow bub's and be on my way. Just a quick question I have always had a regular period but now haven't had one since 26 dec both my dr and FS have said not to worry its probably all the weight loss and personal training I've been doing and that if it doesn't arrive soon they can give me something to start it off. Have any of you been in that situation before?

Hey girls, just lurking and laying low for a few days while I pick myself up. Just a quick question - when the clinic rang to break the bfn news to me, they asked when I wanted to do an FET so I just said asap. The nurse said I had to have two periods so . . . AF has just started today and as soon as the next one has finished I start getting monitered? Or do they mean 2 full cycles rather than two AF? Should've asked at the time but was in a cafe and trying not to look like a complete idiot by bawling in the middle of the lunchtime rushh

brunette: i never got sick with first IVF either, didn't get the synarel headaches that everyone talks about , but once ET had happened i did not like the crinone gel, that was yukky! ver yukky.
i am taking 6 vitamins in morn and 6 at night so yeah i prob rattle but hope it will help me.

missk: yeah i want to keep up with whats happening with everyone ATM too. as for the TWW it's good your having no symtoms, because we over analyse every twinge, or i do anyway. i have a had all the preg symtoms with some of my FET's and still got a BFN so i say just ignore everything. LOL good luck for the rest of the TWW. :-)

terry: hope you get some answers with your app, i have no aswers about AF going away. sometimes i wish mine would go away, be even better if it was because i was preg.
i have been to the gym heaps in the past and lost heaps and mine still came, wish i had some answers there. but i suppose if the docs are not worried and they can make it come it's prob not a prob? i don't know. good luck

melissal: call back the clinic and ask them, they'll tell you and then you don't have to worry about it. good luck.

afm: nothing new really. the clinic called me to remind me of next weeks app with FS and to remember to bring my new referrals for DH and I. so i have put them in an envelope in my diary just in case i forget. LOL. sometimes i have aserious problem with remembering stuff.

    keep you informed.

My lurking is purely on a professional basis....

JBM - are you nervous about getting back into it? You've been on a break haven't you? Hope the apt goes well and you don't forget anything. I'm the same, load my bag up well in advance.

Melissal, guess you'd better set yourself up somewhere private to ask. Hope it just means one full cycle

A trip to Thailand sounds marvelous Terry!

It must be hard to face anniversaries like that MissK. Hopefully a positive test result can put a better spin on things for you

Me - I've got my progynova and stand ready.... just need af, but not due for, oh, anywhere up to a week or so from now

    Hi ladies,
miss K & JBM thank you for your kind thoughts

marcellus- thank you and i will take your advice ,it seems to be getting hard each time i hit that wall, and you are right, I dont really have anyone to talk to about things that are happening, but have found that BB is a wonderful place , with the best girls in the world.

Renee- thankyou for sharing you story with me.. it meant a lot.

Loops12- thanks for the encouragement... im hanging in there. stronger by the day

Everyone else i have missed, thank you too...

well update time: I am in the to hard basket!! but hey we not giving up without a fight!!
My FS doesnt want to change my treatment plan, he said that we have pretty well, got as far as one can get...
but he is doing the AMH test ... ( Anti mullein hormone ) to see how that egg reserve of mine is atm. he also agreed to allow me to have a back to back treatment, as i have no possible chance of OHS. he also talked about considering a donor egg op also.
Hubby and i have talked about this over the past few days, and we are thinking give it one last try, if we still get the same outcome this time around maybe we should stop banging our heads against the brick wall , and maybe get on with life. so fingers crossed that the AMH test comes back good and theres still some little eggies left hey

Mum-2-be ~ Thanks so much. Yeh Ive been told those stats about the acupuncture too and definitely think it helped us this cycle. Prior to our next IVF (whenever that may be) my fertility acupuncturist is recommending we chart my cycle as well, temperature, ovulation etc and then tailor the acupuncture to that. So some of them can do wonderful things and I'm so grateful to have found mine recently.
    GL with it all, hugs.

Brunette ~ thanks to you also, we prob have a better chance of selling it this yr, so FX! How is everything with you?

JBM ~ thanks hun. Not long for you now, GL!!

Melissa ~ good to see you hanging around, hope you're feeling ok. Perhaps give em another call when you are alone and find out for sure.

AFM ~ Got BT results this morning and a reading of 38 HCG, so still a bit there and have to have another BT next week. Will be assuming it will keep decreasing now though as Ive had a fair bit of bleeding. But hey as I said earlier at least we got that bit closer. Still very hard but keeping myself busy and trying not to read too much into it all. Focusing on getting the bills paid and advertising our farm machinery we want to sell incl tractor.

Well, my sister is married and now in Fiji enjoying her honeymoon! I've been home for a couple of days now with AF and the slowest internet connection in history.

Tantee, I'm having my first lap in 2 weeks and am similarly nervous. I've got a huge list of hints from another (American) forum. I'll see if I can copy them into a PM for you. It's a looooong list...

Loops, none of this process is fair. I hope you can sell the tractor quickly so you don't have long to wait for you next attempt. If you ever want to talk, just let me know.

Lairdoz, I thought the only restriction Medicare had on stim cycles what that you can't start stims (ie puregon or gonal-f) within 30 days of last starting them?

littlegem, I'm so, so sorry to hear your little embie didn't make it. I know that feeling all too well as the same thing happened to us last IVF cycle (with 6 embies). Honestly, it took me a month to get over the devastation and move on. And even then I'd still start crying if I had to talk about it. It sounds like you've got a good plan to mov forward though. I always find that helps.

Emerald Star, I wish you were able to just sit back and enjoy being pg. I agree that it's not fair that anything should go wrong after all the difficulty involved in getting pg in the first place.

Renee, I think the crinone can sometimes irritate the cervix and cause spotting. It's unlikely to be AF this soon after ET. Try not to stress over it.

Marcellus, GL with your FET. I've only ever done a natural one, but from what I've read the HRT version doesn't sound too bad (compared to a fresh cycle, anyway).

Afm, nothing new - AF is here and I'm just waiting for my lap on the 10th. Should be right around O time so no TTC this cycle...

    HI Ladies,
Sorry not up to doing persies today as having a crying day as AF finally arrived after chemical. Am waiting on my clinic to let me know if I can start my meds for the Stim tomorrow as it's been very heavy today as day 1 and supposed to start meds for day 2 but I think my HCG is still there so not sure what I'm doing now.

Hope those in a similar situation are doing OK and hi to everyone else

I am hoping we get some BFP's on here soon as we really need some!
