Loops - The drug I was on is called Luveris. It comes in little vials that you mix up, a bit like pregnyl. I think I started it about day 6 & took it for seven days. My FS said it wasn't that common here in Aus as it's really expensive but the drug company had given my clinic some free 'samples' which they then gave to me. My last fresh cycle in Dec I had 13 eggs but only ended up with 3 blastys in total so thats why my FS was worried about my egg quality

Lisa B - Great result!! All the best for your transfer on Thur & I hope you have lots for the freezer. Make sure you drink plenty of water & have the protein drinks, it's really helped to keep my swelling down.

MiniMe - I'm so so sorry, I hope it all turns out ok. When I was pregnant I got quite heavy bleedig at seven weeks, quite a bit of fresh blood which lasted for about 3 days. But my gorgeous little girl is sound asleep in her room so there's always a chance that it may continue well for you, I hope so.

    Yogi - Good luck tomorrow

Kaybee - I seriously think this whole process wrecks havoc with our immune system. Every time I'm doing a cycle I always end up with a dam cold & this time's no different!!

On another note my Aunty attended a weekend workshop run by Lisa Willams (psychic/medium) & she was told that there would be twin boys coming for someone in the family next year, but she does have three kids of her own so who knows!!!

    Good morning everyone,

Loops - Enjoy your break. You deserve one, be asnaughty as possible while you can. You never know what might happen.

Minime - I am sorry to hear about your possible M/C. Keep in mind it is just a possible until proven otherwise especially with the numbers you were showing yesterday. FX for you

Lisa- What a fantastic number of eggs. Good luck with your transfer tomorrow. Here's hoping a good lot fertalise too.

Littlemissmoo - Twins hey????? get it all done with at once lol Let hope your aunt's medium means you.

Hello to everyone else and I hope you are all doing well today

AFM - Nothing really to tell for today. Off to see the Nurse Co-ord today and see where my treatment will take me. This will be an interesting ride as it is my first IVF cycle.

    Hi ladies,

Minime - thinking of you and praying for some good news at the end of this.

Wantaminime - hope your appointment went well. What protocol/cycle have they put you on?

LMM - thanks for the advice, I probably haven't been drinking enough water over the last couple of days. Oooh, a prediction of twins, crossing my fingers for you.

Yogi - I hope your pulling up okay from EPU.

AFM: Had my transfer today and was so surprised about how painless it was. Out of the 15 eggs I got 9 which were considered good quality at day 2. There were 3 others that were fertilised but there was not mention of them being suitable for the freezer. My clinic does day 2 transfers so they will put the other 8 in the freezer tonight. I'm not sure how I feel about day 2 vs day 5 but I;m just doing along with the ride for now as I'm new.

Hi everyone! I'm back, I'm injecting and I'm very tender. I'm excited about my 1st antagonist cycle. Hope it brings me more luck, I don't want anymore angel babies thank you!! I've given enough wings for now.

Minime - hang in there hun. We all know someone who has bled plenty but maintained the baby.

Loops - time out gorgeous girl? Well enjoy it and make sure you have fun. I know I have had long periods where the fun has gone from my life without me even noticing during all of this babymaking. Please take care and make sure you share your good news xxxxx

Lisa - you've really pulled the numbers out huh! Well done!

Littlemissmoo - I loooove Lisa Williams. What she says is gospel (to me). I'm hoping those precious twins are yours

Kaybee - I agree. Any type of drugs and especially anaesthetic knocks your immune system around. I always pump myself full of zinc and vit C.

TruBlue & Lairdoz - I'm crossing everything I've got for you girls

Yogi - make sure you take it real slow after EPU. Don't go to any disco's or anything just yet.

AFM - It has been a year since I did a stim cycle and I forget what all the tips are for food and drink to assist all the side effects. I had a **** nurse this time round who gave me nothing. Do you girls happen to remember any of this? I have vague memories of Gatorade and protein??? Is that right? I'm waiting for the drugs to make me emotionally loopy. Any day now.........

    Hi all,

Minime - how are you going????? have you got a result yet. I have everything crossed for you.

Lisa - Hope your transfer went well . Good luck for your TWW

Hi and welcome back Mindhugs. I too am interested in a possibility of reducing side effects of the drugs so will be watching for replies. Hope your stay here is short. However it will be nice having a cycle buddy as it looks like we are about the same.

My appointment went well. All a bit of an information overload at the moment. Guess I will catch up with all the infor soon enough. They have put me on Synarel and then next week I start jabbing. I was please to learn that instead of pessaries i will be getting a jab every three days. Not that I have had any of this before I just got really put off by reading every one elses posts lol.

    Thanks lovely ladies
This happened last time I said I was having a break - I couldnt stay away. I certianly wont be on as much though.
Just wanted to say thanks for thinking of me and:

MiniMe ~ Im so terribly sorry and very sad to see this . I went through the same thing, you have to remain hopeful but at the same time you see what is happening and you dont like to get your hopes up. It may not be much of a consolation but I just kept saying to myself at least we got that one step closer and next go it will work. All the best hun xo

Lisa B ~ thanks and GL to you, hope you get your BFP!

Littlemissmoo ~ thanks for that - Ive written it down and will ask my FS about it. He may say not this time because im doing antagonist cycle this time instead of down reg but there is no harm in asking I guess. All the best, FX for you!

AFM ~ Still no AF - What the arrhh. Just want my body to be normal again. I guess just have to give it time and so perhaps it is best that I wait a couple of months before doing another IVF/ICSI.

Goodluck everyone - hoping to drop in and see lots of BFP's very soon.

    Hey guys,

Thanks for all your support over the last 2 days. You have really been there when I needed an encouraging word and there is not much I can say that would convey how grateful I am.
I was really surprised to get the call that my results were fine! My hcg was 4000+ and my progesterone was 117. So I guess little embie is still holding on, must be as stubborn as my DH! I have another BT on Monday. I'm just hoping there are no more scares. I guess there's not much I can do but wait and and keep telling little embie to hold on every day.

I just wanted to do a few persies too:
Loops - you are always so positive. I wish you the best of luck with everything.
Yogi - That it a great fertilisation rate. Good luck with your transfer and for you.
Wantaminime - It's all starting now - The whirlwind of information, nasal spray and jabs. I hope you don't get too overwhelmed and everything goes well for your cycle.
Minghugs - When I was on my injections I ate LOTS of protein and drank lots of fluids. I found hydralyte which you get from the chemist was pretty good. I also had bacon and eggs every morning. I thought lots of eggs would get me lots of eggs! Good luck with your cycle!
Lisa B - Hope you are settling in for that TWW. It's a killer! Good luck with everything!

I'm sorry to those people I have missed. I wish you all the best and for you every step of the way.
