I'm a bit annoyed today because I feel like I'm coming down with something and I really wanted my body to be in a lovely, healthy, nurturing state for the embryo on Thursday. Hope I can fight whatever it is off before Thurs so my body can just focus on one thing after my transfer.

And, just quietly, how gross are pessaries?! Whose idea was it to fill us with parrafin wax? And, while I love lying down doing nothing, whenever I whack it in the phone rings, someone neeeeeds me right now and there's only crap on tv. I know, in the grand scheme it's nothing but I thought I'd have a whinge anyway.

Also trying very hard not to have any arguments with DH because he blames the hormones I'm taking whenever we have an argument (no matter how much his fault it is). And after the last cycle he said he didn't know if he could do it again. So, I am just trying very hard to bite my tongue and be little miss peaceful. Am even DTD more than I normally would with these gross pessaries just to keep him happy. God, that sounds so pathetic after reading it back. Ah well, it's done now

Sorry it was all about me!

Wanta - I understand your priorities totally. I hope you end up being able to have your cake and eat it too.

    Minime - results?????

Loops - enjoy your time off! Hope you find many many fun things to do. We all know what your mind will be on most of the time, but not having to think about what your ovaries and uterus are up to every second of every day will be a relief. Maybe, just maybe, you might get to skip this thread next time and head straight for the pg threads!

    Hi guys,

Kaybee, thanks for asking about me!! Guess what!! BFP! I couldn't believe my ears when they told me!!
I so agree with you about pessaries, I've been complaining about them on the TWW page for the last week!! I had to take two at a time morning and night... so much leakage!!

Loops - once again, I wish you all the best. I hope you have a relaxing break and maybe a happy surprise.

LMM - Congrats on your big haul! Hope those two little embies find a nice home for the next 9 months!

Yogi - 1 embie is all it takes, good luck for tomorrow!

Wantaminime - Hope you are not getting too stressed... I know it's hard to take each day at a time. I hope it all works out for you.

I wish everyone else luck with their various stages of TTC!!

Don't bother congratulating me. I had a miscarriage at 5 o'clock this afternoon.

Minime - I am in shock, I am sure you know it was a miscarriage, but I am shocked as I would have thought your BT would have indicated if there was a likelyhood of miscarriage, especially within hours of having the BT.
I am so sorry you have had to experience this, I cannot imagine how you are feeling at the moment. A huge cyber hug to you and your DH. Have you spoken to the nurse/your doc?

I just got off the phone to the doc... he said there is still a small chance the pregnancy is intact because my numbers were so good, but he said they could of been on the decline this morning, there is no way to know. The bleeding is really heavy with clots, so it doesn't look good.

My sister had awful clotting and bleeding until week 13, so don't give up yet. She swore it was all over so many times (didn't tell me about the pregnancy until week 12 because she didn't want to upset me given my history just incase she did lose the baby). She is due in a couple of weeks and the baby is fine. Your doc is right, it could have been in decline which you won't know until you have a second BT, but don't give up just yet
Are you having another BT to check what's happening?

Yeah, I'm not going in to work tomorrow. I have to call the doctor in the morning and schedule another BT for Thursday, but at the moment the flood gates are opening every time I stand. That's pretty heavy. Thanks for the story about your sister though, it provides a little reassurance.

    Evening ladies,

As usual so much to catch up on after having a couple of days away.

Minime - stay strong hunnie until you get some more information, your numbers were strong and maybe it's a glitch as many women do bleed particularly when the miss their first AF. hard for you and the little one.

Kaybee - there are so many bugs going around at the moment. I've had a pesky cold for over a week now. Yeah, the pessaries are pretty bad, that leaky feeling. I'm trying crinone out so it's once a day and from what I've heard less leakage, will be a nice change as I had 6 months of pessaries whilst doing OI. The pessaries gave me every pregnancy symptom you can think of.

LMM - wow that's massive, congratulations on so many blasts.

Loops - big hugs, I hope you enjoy your time away doing heaps of great things without having to think of TTC. Hopefully when you are enjoying just being you, you will find a little surprise...it happens.

Dreams - GL with your job hunting. Yay for a surprise trip to Brisbane, hope you have a nice time.

Yogi - GL with EPU tomorrow. It's so hard to put the cycle in the background as your routine rotates around drugs and appointments. Don't worry about off loading about your feelings here, that's what we are here for.

Trueblue - crossing my fingers for you that this is your month.

Lairdoz - hoping that this is your lucky month.

AFM: had EPU yesterday and have been feeling fairly crampy ever since. The anaesthetic was the best yet, I normally vomit even on a light one. I got 15 eggs which is good. I'm having a day 2 transfer tomorrow and pre & post acupuncture. The clinic won't tell me the fertilisation rate or quality until I see my FS tomorrow for the transfer.

Loops - The drug I was on is called Luveris. It comes in little vials that you mix up, a bit like pregnyl. I think I started it about day 6 & took it for seven days. My FS said it wasn't that common here in Aus as it's really expensive but the drug company had given my clinic some free 'samples' which they then gave to me. My last fresh cycle in Dec I had 13 eggs but only ended up with 3 blastys in total so thats why my FS was worried about my egg quality

Lisa B - Great result!! All the best for your transfer on Thur & I hope you have lots for the freezer. Make sure you drink plenty of water & have the protein drinks, it's really helped to keep my swelling down.

MiniMe - I'm so so sorry, I hope it all turns out ok. When I was pregnant I got quite heavy bleedig at seven weeks, quite a bit of fresh blood which lasted for about 3 days. But my gorgeous little girl is sound asleep in her room so there's always a chance that it may continue well for you, I hope so.

    Yogi - Good luck tomorrow

Kaybee - I seriously think this whole process wrecks havoc with our immune system. Every time I'm doing a cycle I always end up with a dam cold & this time's no different!!

On another note my Aunty attended a weekend workshop run by Lisa Willams (psychic/medium) & she was told that there would be twin boys coming for someone in the family next year, but she does have three kids of her own so who knows!!!

    Good morning everyone,

Loops - Enjoy your break. You deserve one, be asnaughty as possible while you can. You never know what might happen.

Minime - I am sorry to hear about your possible M/C. Keep in mind it is just a possible until proven otherwise especially with the numbers you were showing yesterday. FX for you

Lisa- What a fantastic number of eggs. Good luck with your transfer tomorrow. Here's hoping a good lot fertalise too.

Littlemissmoo - Twins hey????? get it all done with at once lol Let hope your aunt's medium means you.

Hello to everyone else and I hope you are all doing well today

AFM - Nothing really to tell for today. Off to see the Nurse Co-ord today and see where my treatment will take me. This will be an interesting ride as it is my first IVF cycle.

    Hi ladies,

Minime - thinking of you and praying for some good news at the end of this.

Wantaminime - hope your appointment went well. What protocol/cycle have they put you on?

LMM - thanks for the advice, I probably haven't been drinking enough water over the last couple of days. Oooh, a prediction of twins, crossing my fingers for you.

Yogi - I hope your pulling up okay from EPU.

AFM: Had my transfer today and was so surprised about how painless it was. Out of the 15 eggs I got 9 which were considered good quality at day 2. There were 3 others that were fertilised but there was not mention of them being suitable for the freezer. My clinic does day 2 transfers so they will put the other 8 in the freezer tonight. I'm not sure how I feel about day 2 vs day 5 but I;m just doing along with the ride for now as I'm new.

Hi everyone! I'm back, I'm injecting and I'm very tender. I'm excited about my 1st antagonist cycle. Hope it brings me more luck, I don't want anymore angel babies thank you!! I've given enough wings for now.

Minime - hang in there hun. We all know someone who has bled plenty but maintained the baby.

Loops - time out gorgeous girl? Well enjoy it and make sure you have fun. I know I have had long periods where the fun has gone from my life without me even noticing during all of this babymaking. Please take care and make sure you share your good news xxxxx

Lisa - you've really pulled the numbers out huh! Well done!

Littlemissmoo - I loooove Lisa Williams. What she says is gospel (to me). I'm hoping those precious twins are yours

Kaybee - I agree. Any type of drugs and especially anaesthetic knocks your immune system around. I always pump myself full of zinc and vit C.

TruBlue & Lairdoz - I'm crossing everything I've got for you girls

Yogi - make sure you take it real slow after EPU. Don't go to any disco's or anything just yet.

AFM - It has been a year since I did a stim cycle and I forget what all the tips are for food and drink to assist all the side effects. I had a **** nurse this time round who gave me nothing. Do you girls happen to remember any of this? I have vague memories of Gatorade and protein??? Is that right? I'm waiting for the drugs to make me emotionally loopy. Any day now.........

    Hi all,

Minime - how are you going????? have you got a result yet. I have everything crossed for you.

Lisa - Hope your transfer went well . Good luck for your TWW

Hi and welcome back Mindhugs. I too am interested in a possibility of reducing side effects of the drugs so will be watching for replies. Hope your stay here is short. However it will be nice having a cycle buddy as it looks like we are about the same.

My appointment went well. All a bit of an information overload at the moment. Guess I will catch up with all the infor soon enough. They have put me on Synarel and then next week I start jabbing. I was please to learn that instead of pessaries i will be getting a jab every three days. Not that I have had any of this before I just got really put off by reading every one elses posts lol.

Hi Mindhugs, wishing you all the best for this cycle. I find i do better on antagonist cycle, being the crappy responder that i am!! Had to laugh about your comment "Don't go to any disco's or anything just yet." As an old chook i cant remember the last time i went out on the town?!!

MiniMe how are you going? i was shocked to read what happened to you, i hope you are ok and todays bt gives some answers.

Loops sorry to hear about the bfn. I hope the break brings you a surprise gift!

Lisa, congrats on a great cycle! I can only dream of getting numbers like that!! I hope the 2ww goes quickly for you...hope to be joining you soon.
And Littlemissmoo, another great result Lets hope we get some BFP's rollin on here soon!

Well, had collection yesterday and luckily we got 3 eggs from my lonely 3 follicles and today all 3 have fertilised Whoohoo!!! am so happy with that. Looks like will be a day 3 transfer on sat and hoping to have 2 nice embies for that

    Thanks lovely ladies
This happened last time I said I was having a break - I couldnt stay away. I certianly wont be on as much though.
Just wanted to say thanks for thinking of me and:

MiniMe ~ Im so terribly sorry and very sad to see this . I went through the same thing, you have to remain hopeful but at the same time you see what is happening and you dont like to get your hopes up. It may not be much of a consolation but I just kept saying to myself at least we got that one step closer and next go it will work. All the best hun xo

Lisa B ~ thanks and GL to you, hope you get your BFP!

Littlemissmoo ~ thanks for that - Ive written it down and will ask my FS about it. He may say not this time because im doing antagonist cycle this time instead of down reg but there is no harm in asking I guess. All the best, FX for you!

AFM ~ Still no AF - What the arrhh. Just want my body to be normal again. I guess just have to give it time and so perhaps it is best that I wait a couple of months before doing another IVF/ICSI.

Goodluck everyone - hoping to drop in and see lots of BFP's very soon.

    Hey guys,

Thanks for all your support over the last 2 days. You have really been there when I needed an encouraging word and there is not much I can say that would convey how grateful I am.
I was really surprised to get the call that my results were fine! My hcg was 4000+ and my progesterone was 117. So I guess little embie is still holding on, must be as stubborn as my DH! I have another BT on Monday. I'm just hoping there are no more scares. I guess there's not much I can do but wait and and keep telling little embie to hold on every day.

I just wanted to do a few persies too:
Loops - you are always so positive. I wish you the best of luck with everything.
Yogi - That it a great fertilisation rate. Good luck with your transfer and for you.
Wantaminime - It's all starting now - The whirlwind of information, nasal spray and jabs. I hope you don't get too overwhelmed and everything goes well for your cycle.
Minghugs - When I was on my injections I ate LOTS of protein and drank lots of fluids. I found hydralyte which you get from the chemist was pretty good. I also had bacon and eggs every morning. I thought lots of eggs would get me lots of eggs! Good luck with your cycle!
Lisa B - Hope you are settling in for that TWW. It's a killer! Good luck with everything!

I'm sorry to those people I have missed. I wish you all the best and for you every step of the way.
