    girls!

I thought I would stick my head in to ask some advice... I'm on my 2nd cycle of 50mg Clomid (first time I took it from CD5-9, this cycle from CD2-6).

First time round I didn't really experience any symptoms - only some hot flushes every now and then - I ovulated on CD17 which is the earliest I've ever ovulated in a cycle in 12 months.

As of today (I'm CD4 and taken 2 tablets) I'm feeling dizzy, nauseous, shaky... has anyone else had these type of symptoms? Please tell me this is normal............

    Thanks girls!!!

Hey hun, yeah my symptoms have gotten worse the longer I have been on Clomid. Today for example is CD 3 & I should be taking it today but have decided to forgo this cycle. Anyway I am sitting here with severe hot flushes and have been suffering from insomnia AGAIN! Am over it!

    Hi girls,
Elocin- I have had all the symptoms you have mentioned plus more! I don't always get them though. Ironically, the two worst months I've had those symptoms I've gotten pregnant!

Oorki G- I know what you mean about the moods. I am usually the ***** monster from hell during and after clomid until I o! DH is really good, and I try to apologise if he really cops it.

Porsche- Hope you're feeling a bit better today.

Everyone else, I hope you're travelling ok.

AFM- I've decided to go and get a blood test tomorrow and see how that goes. Maybe if I see HCG numbers looking good I'll feel like this is actually happening. I've gone and let myself be excited now! I'll let you know how I go.

    Bye for now,
    Bec

Hey bec i got so hooked on getting my HCG levels, with the IVF they had me doing blood tests for 4 or 5 weeks straight. It was really hard when they stopped because i liked knowing that the levels were going up. Hope you get good numbers

hope everyone else is doing ok on the clomid, i didnt get many symptoms from it only really hot flushes. I think it is different for every woman.

Big hugs for the ladies that are feeling a bit down, try not to get down on yourself for having thoughts its totally natural xxoo
