Mum2One - Everyone is different of course, but I always find the symptoms start after I have finished the Clomid and the whole month is an emotional rollercoaster. I had the general SE once finished the Clomid (hot flushes was my main SE), but then everything else during the cycle seems to be "bigger" than usual. More emotional, PMS is more full on, boobs can be sorer (I never really had sore boobs before, but I do on Clomid), I even felt nautious around ovulation the first cycle and I am the same this time (4th cycle). I have also found that I am worse each month, but others have said that their first month was the worst. I am sure that my husband would agree though, I am definitely getting worse as I go along!! Pretty much any PMS/Pregnancy/Ovulation SE that you can think of, you will probably feel. Partly because you want to think that you are Ovulating/Pregnant and partly because the hormones are just pumping harder than usual because of the Clomid.
Yas, I was definately worse the first month and then not bad from there on in. Hope you are lucky and get none!

AFM: I started taking primolut to induce a period after I POAS and got a BFN. AF should arrive early next week, so I'm booked in back at FS the following week. Xav will be getting his plaster off that day so I thought I'd kill two birds with one day off!
becnxavi- sorry for your BFN. Hope your ok. Good to know it's that the first is the worst.
It's hard to tell if my emotional breakdowns are clomid, or grief from the m/c...probably a combination of both.
FX for BFP's this month, GL to everyone and my sympathy for anyone in the TTW.
Oh, and a quick question for anyone who might know, i had thrush basically my whole TTW (yucky and horrible) can i take the tablet to get rid of it while im taking clomid? I think it's gone but i don't want it to flair up after AF finishes. Anyone had the same problem?
Yas - Gook luck on your 2nd round of clomid hope it works. Not sure about symptons sorry i dont seem to get many. Your emotional breakdowns are very likely a combination of both you poor luv i've never had a m/c. I can only imagine how devastating it would have been for you. Sending you lots of baby dust.
mum2onesweetbun - I was lucky i dont get much symptoms beside sore breasts and emotional but then did not take clomid this month and still emotional so not sure probably just me. Wishing you no side effects.

AFM: Just wainting for AF to arrive which should be next week so i can get started again decided to try to lose the weight while still doing clomid it seems like wasted time to stop clomid while i try to lose some weight.

Yas - I haven't had any issues with thrush since being on Clomid, but I have heard that the change in hormone levels can upset the balance and cause thrush. I would ask your FS if there is anything you can take/do?
Mum2One - I too hope we all get a nice Christmas surprise and are UTD. I was thinking yesterday what was on my "wish list" this year, and more than ever my only answer is a baby (or two)!
Tasha - Hope you aren't freaking out too much. I don't have follicle scans or blood tests and while I am not pregnant yet, the results to date have been good and I have been ovulating and have a regular cycle of 27 days (which I NEVER had before, it could be 12 months between AF visits). I think it just depends on how your FS/OBGYN works. Some doctors are just more hands on than others.
AFM - I had my appointment today with the OB/GYN. He's happy with my now regular 27 day cycle and didn't seem to worried about my 10-12 day luteal phase either. Having a Hycosy after my next period and then if there are no blockages, going through another 3 cycles and seeing if the Hycosy can clear some cobwebs and help get me UTD. Also, he agreed with my GP that my first period was probably so painful because of multiple ovulation that first month, so he doesn't want to increase my Clomid dose incase I get pregnant with quintuplets or something crazy like that! Not really the direction I thought the appointment would go in, but I am happy with the outcome all the same!

I've had huge problems with Thrush the whole time I was on clomid (someone else did too, I can't remember who?) and you can't take the tablets if you are pregnant, but you can use the pessaries and the cream. My chemist recommended a probiotic, which has helped a lot. If you have PCOS thrush can be a constant problem becasue of the hormones. HTH!

Jules- *hugs* hope you're ok. Sometimes I reckon a big cry can cure a whole lot. Not always, but at least it makes you feel a bit better for awhile. It's good you have someone who understands.
