WBM - Thank you.. I have everything (but my legs) crossed that I will only have to do one round and we will be blessed with our #1!!!

As for the Hycosy...I had a HSG done which is kind of similar but supposed to be more painful as you have the x-ray dye injected instead of the saline. I took the whole day off work and had it done on a friday and after the procedure I thought I was going to die! (I thought I had a high pain threshold..obviously not) Its hard to explain the pain, for me it felt like period pain to start but then it felt like something was cutting my from my insides out.. and then the next day I felt like I was the size of a beach ball!! But when I saw the dye go through my tubes all the pain seemed to go away ...
I hope i havent scared you that is not my intention, but I went it with a vague idea of the pain, and was told that it wasnt that bad... but i was mistaken!!

Hi girls just sticking my head in as like Mollie I am planning on starting clomid in Jan.

I have a question I hope someone can help with. I have seemly regular AF and I have all the signs of ovulation, my FS does not want to test tubes etc as I have a m/c 5 months ago but has suggested clomid as a step before IVF etc...has anyone here been prescribed clomid with regular AF,(last progrestrone test at cd 21 was 23.8 nmol/l) is this too low to show ov? Dr google has me confused!

    Hello again everyone,
Just ducking in again to warn you all I am about to join in very soon in here, I have now finally O'd at CD25 and usually only have a 6day LP but then last cycle it was 10 days. So now I am here waiting for AF to arrive and CD5 to come around so I can start my Clomid for the first time. Not really nervous about it YET but I probably will when the time gets closer.

Joeve~ Hey hun how are you travelling, great to see I know somebody in here. When are you starting your Clomid darl? Are you still going to wait until after Xmas? As for me I'm to impatient I'm gunna start mine this cycle coming up.....

wannababymumma - Good luck with the hycosy. I had dye flushed through my tubes about 5 months ago and you are suposed to be more fertile for about 3 months after. It was not very painful at all i expected worse, Just make sure you take pain killers before hand i took nurofen.

RhiChiChi - It must be a huge emotional rollercoaster. I'm going to start IUI in January moving onto IVF in March if i need to and that's the light at the end of my tunnel i hope. It must be so disapointing when it does not work. I know i will be shattered it it does not work as my DP and i have decided on 2 IUI's and 2 IVF's if that does not work i'm too scared to think about it so we will see. What are you doing next another IUI or are you moving on to IVF?

nothing2lose - Really sorry about AF showing up. Hopefully round 5 will be the one good luck.

Yas - Thanks. Good Luck with trying to put on weight which must be just as fustratring as trying to lose it. Hopefully we will both get there in the end. Great Attitude Keep It Up

Joeve - Welcome. Yes i have regular AF and ovulate and have taken clomid all up with breaks about 16 months. Honestly not sure about progrestrone level seems low to me but honestly not sure could be wrong.

Clairesmummy - Welcome. No need to be nervous about clomid everyone is different with side effects i dont get many so hopefully you will be the same, hope so.

AFM: Finally got DP to do a sperm analysis, everything was good. Please dont think i'm a b***h but i was hoping they would find something we could fix with him now instead its come back to me and being my fault which i find very fustrating i have done everything i can think of in the last 29 months to fall pregnant and nothing has worked so back to the drawing board. I have to say i'm very very fustrated but that's ok have now got my head in the right space and starting to diet properly with some will power this time. Cause let's face it if i dont fall pregnant it will now be my fault.

    Hi All,

Rai - I don't think you are a b***h for thinking that, we all think "irrational" thoughts from time to time, that's what makes us human. But really, it's not your fault anyway! I know that you are no doubt tired of hearing it (because I know I am), but it will happen, so you need to try and relax (don't worry if you are thinking that you want to throw something at me, because I think that about everyone who tries to tell me to "relax" too!). We all have our FX'd for you.

It's very quiet in here at the moment... Anybody out there?

AFM - I had a tiny amount (like a drop) of brown blood on Sunday. Not really sure what that was about. Not sure what's going on this cycle as I either missed ovulation altogether (would have had to have been earlier than usual because I tested on the days it was due), or I haven't ovulated this cycle. Had the usual pre-ovulation twinges around day 13/14, or so I thought, but then almost nothing until last night & today and now I feel like AF has started or is about to, but nothing so far. Oh the joys of trying to work out a pattern in the things my body does (or doesn't do). A sane person would have given up trying by now!

Wow lots of action on here lately. Just dropping in to say Hi and wishing everyone GL with their journey's.

I'm now CD12 of my 4th round of IUI and go back to the FS on thurs for a follie scan. I can't remember who asked about how many rounds of IUI you can do, it all depends on your situation. DH and I don't have the money at this point to do IVF, so while we are saving we are just going to keep doing IUI, but our FS would do it now if we did have the money. also the success rate is higher with IVF than with IUI as you are still relying on nature a little. Like I said it all depends on your situation as to wether you do IUI or go straight to IVF.

Anyways babydust to everyone and hoping there are going to be lots of BFP xmas suprises on here

    Hi Ladies,

Welcome Joeve - I hope your journey here is short! In answer to your question, I am pretty sure that my FS told me that for it to technically be an ovulation the result should be 30+. Without Clomid I my prog levels were around 40 something and jumped to 78 when I was taking clomid (or something like that). Good luck starting your clomid journey in Jan.

Mollie, don't be scared hun, just go with it. Yes, there are a lot of side effects, but just remember one of them being that you could fall pregnant Worked for me.

Good luck ladies, and I agree, too long between BFP's on here.

    Hey all,

sorry I haven't been on much, been extremely busy and haven't had much down time for me this week. Just wanted to pop in & say Hi! to everyone & hope you are all travelling ok atm. Nothing much happening for me, just had a scan & blood and they are upping my dose to get a better result. *sigh* Weather is a bit erratic in Melbourne today - raining, sunny, raining & now storming....

how odd is the weather Jules! Thunderstorms, airconditioner, doona and heater tonight, bloody Melbourne hey?

I just wanted to say hi to the newbies! Welcome to the world of clomid, and I hope you get your BFP before long! The ladies here are awesome and a huge support!

I haven't been in for a while so I wont try to catch up! Hope you are all well, and BFP signs are promising.

AFM: I'm CD2, I took primolut to induce AF last week and she arrived (painfully) yesterday. So jabs start tomorrow, I'm just waiting to hear from FS as to what dose to start on. I was 112 last time so I'm assuming that's where I start? IUI girls, can you help?

I am feeling positive this month. Holidays in 2 weeks and 1 day, and what can possibly be bad with a cycle that begins on the
1st of the month!? Ironically I know the cycle I conceived DS began on the 6th Dec, so may I'm extra fertile (well slightly more than 0!) in December. FX hey!

    Stay well, chins up everyone,
    Bec

Hi Pumpgirl! How are you and bubs going? Do you have any ideas/feelings on sex of the baby yet?

Jules/Bec - I would usually say that that's just the typical Melbourne weather, but Sydney has been just as bad!! You can wake up and think that it's going to be cold, and by mid morning you are dying cause you are too hot in what you wore to work! It's been a very weird week for weather.

Bec - I hope that all goes well for you this month! FX'd that December is a fertile month! Who knows, maybe it's something to do with all the festive cheer and I guess it also gives us something else to think about.

AFM - Don't think I ovulated this month, so just waiting for AF now... *sigh* I was so set of an early Christmas present, but it's not going to be the case, I don't think!
