Jane my husband also has a low sperm count. It really gets him down sometimes. He tends to take everything on himself. I remember last year being really quite difficult and he felt really inadequate. I didn't matter what I did to try and improve his mood. It's so easy to forget what the men have to go through isn't it. Although we have all the physical side to contend with, the men, especially if they are the contributing problem. Unfortunately for my man, his problem is due to the fact he was born premature. His testicles did not descend as they should which is common for prem babies, but nobody did anthing about it until e was about 7 and they didn't finish with him till he was 11. Ideally they like to operate before the age of 1, so you can imagine... That caused some preblems between us and his folks, you know blaming them for the fact he didn't have the op soon enough to have a normal count. Now we just focu on what we do to help the situation by getting him to take his follic acid, zinc, vit C and Royal Jelly. My doctor has always said though it doesn't matter what a man has in term of count once you go for IVF, all the onus is on the quality of eggs and the uterus. SO you can imagine how I thanked him for putting all the burden on me ha ha
I really hope you feel better soon, and that you experience of AC is a positive one
