Possum: wishing for your cycle, really hope you will have a good outcome.
Bella: Congratulations so happy for you.
and to everyone
Can I join? Never though I'd arrive in this thread but just had a miracle happen, only ad two mature eggs and one fertilised, my one little embie grew into a perfect blastocyst and PGD showed it didn't have my bad gen, had it transferred yesterday.
Now wondering if anyone has any tips on how I make it stick
I am taking tomato juice and garlic tablets to increase circulation and all the usual pregnancy vitamins. Will also hopefully get an acupuncture appointment this morning, unfortunately didn't work out yesterday but since the transfer was only at 4pm I hope this morning will do. Took the day off as I though it might help to try to relax.
Sara- am so thrilled you got the transfer! acupuncture is good...i usually have it after the transfer, then again about a week later. You are already eating the right things. And I guess do your best to keep your stress levels as low as you can (easier said than done in the 2ww I know!) good luck xx
Possum and Kittycat - so sorry AF arrived.
Im the same - AF pretty much on the doorstep. I was like you Kitty thought this may have been my time with lots of different pain and stuff this time but no go.
My nurse says count day one as your first day of full flow before 6pm - hope that helps.
Good luck to everyone in here still waiting, hope you get your BFP's.
AFM - Probably wont be on here as much for a little while not sure what DH and I will be doing, probably move into trying IVF when we have enough money. We will be concentrating on our house move for the next couple of weeks anyway.
Can anyone tell me if they have had an option of payment plan with IVF, is that at all possible?
I have another specialist appointment on the 23rd so I suppose we will have a better idea of what we are doing then.
Thanks everyone for you support and wishes over the last two weeks.
Bella - CONGRATULATIONS on your BFP! Hope you have a h & h pg
Possums - so sorry AF arrived I really hope you get your little miracle this cycle. Thinking of you.
Loops - sorry that AF is near. With my clinic, they didnt give us a payment option plan. The cycle had to be paid in full from day 1, then you didnt get a receipt to claim back from medicare until after transfer. Good luck and hope to see you back here soon.
Sara - so good to see you in here and so happy to hear you had a transfer! I hope the next 2 weeks flies by for you and you get your much awaited BFP
Sue - sounds like you've done all you can, now its up to nature. Good luck
loops12,
my payment system is to get a credit card that has a 6 month interest free time.
you then have 6 months time to pay it off without paying any interest. if you find you don't get it paid in that time, you can actually move it to anyother cr card company (balance transfer) then start the 6 month interest free again with them!!!
i know it's bad to do this!!!
But it is getting me what i want and it's not costing anymore in interest payments. you need to have peice of mind and less stress esp about money when you are going through all this stuff!!
AFM.. went to FS this morning and have started my femarra again today. i think it worked well last time with 3 good size follies this month. the problem is the later part of my cycle. anyway we'll see how it goes.
Hi all - am back in the 2ww - it's been a while!
Just had transfer #5 this afternoon - this is our last frozen embryo so praying that it sticks.
BT is on Tuesday 28th April - anyone else on that day?
Sara... with my FET which gave me a BFP i started testing and got two lines about 6 days after the blastocyst transfer...the equivalent of 11dpo
fingers crossed for you!
Sara - I am completely addicted to POAS. I've done 4 stim cycles and I POAS until I see the second line disappear, that way I will know if a BFP is real or not. Usually the trigger has been gone from my body at about 7 days post trigger shot.
Good luck everyone. I have an egg collection tomorrow so I'll be back in the TWW next week.
