RH76 - i share your hate of the home pg test and dh has banned me even thinking about it as we once got a false positive, which started us on this whole journey. since then, i have no faith in them, and like you will wait for the bt - although i think it will just about kill me. Hope that the five days go as quickly as they possibly can.

jbub - that is cool that we will test on the same day. my transfer was on the sat. i had the same side effects as you did, but noticed today that they are starting to go - i was putting them down to the stim cycle/trigger and OPU, which knocked me about a bit (I'm a bit soft when it comes to pain and stuff). I'm sure that the lessinging of symptoms is not a good thing, but anyway. The crinone gel scares me, so far no side effects, but having read the brochure when they have 'very common' and 'common' list of side effects, I am a bit worried. I especially wondered about the side effect 'feelings of unworthyness'. I read that out to DH, and he now thinks it is very funning to come up to me at any time of the day and say in a stupid voice 'you are worthy, you are worthy'! He get great amusement out of it, but I'm not so sure that it is helping me.


Emma83 - you have got to be getting excited with all that - and 2 lines on the test! I would not have thought that the trigger would still be having an effect, and surely it would be a different hormone - I think that the question was asked on the forum a month or so back - maybe worth finding to see what was said. Fingers crossed anyway cause it sure does look good.

waiting1 - Nicole Richie just proves that cocaine and a reduced brain function must help implantation - has anyone done a study on that . Your dh sounds better mannered than mine! If i started feeling by BBs he would offer to do it for me, and then do it at regular intervals in public or at work (we work at the same place)! What roast did you have? - i'm craving roast lamb at the moment - with yummy salt and rosemary rub on it...

Not much to report here. Feeling better and having angry mental thoughts about dh not doing enough housework or making his own lunch, which is normally a very early AF sign (it happens every month after 'O'). I just hoping that our embie is still floating around trying to find its prefered lodgement spot, and then the hormones will kick in. Anyway, had better do some work. Hope everyone has a good day.

That totally cracked me up. Very hilarious.
Still feeling all the side effects today. I also keep pushing on my boobs to make sure they still hurt!! I really think I wouldn't get preg symptoms yet though even if I was pregnant. Must just be the side effects.

About the trigger shot. I read that the trigger shot is HcG which is also what home pregnancy tests test for. It can stay in your body for about 10 days.

Hi Ladies,

Am feeling doubtful today. Did another poas today and there is still a faint 2nd line but it looks to me like it's getting lighter BBs are still really veiny and sore and I'm still exhausted - but I'm actually wondering if I might have another cyst. This happened to me about 6 months ago (it's so cruel, the games our bodies and minds play on us sometimes). I missed AF for about 2 weeks, sore BB's, tired etc...but no BFP. Turned out it was a progesterone cyst, and progesterone is the hormone in pregnancy that causes both these symptoms. Evil Cyst!

Still trying to stay positive, but am less optimistic...and am still heading on for BT on Wednesday morning. Maybe I'll be plesantly surprised!

Waiting1 - I know what you mean, we are very lucky. I was so shocked when we concieved DS as he wasn't planned. I guess we took for granted how easy it was. It's not until now that we're having trouble that you look back - and just realize how lucky we are to have him.

Hello ladies, I too had a natural FET on sat?I have no symptom at all except for a tingling bellybutton???? I just got my bloods from todays tests and they are est; 503 prog; 58?? is that good??? The next week is going to be terrible and very long but thank goodness we are going away for the long weekend, hopefully my mind will be on other things.

saltprincess - I know it's really strange Transfer was okay. I still can't get used to the whole being half-naked and four people gawking at your bits! But I did get to see my little embryo and it looked perfect

I have felt completely normal - still that sort of im hungry empty feeling... and after lunch felt a bit like I wanted to throw up but not really - it was a bit wierd.....

Farmgirl - I am really cranky with DH too- and he is being sooooo nice and I am just like this spitting snake...at everything - he just went for a job and I hissed as well as I know I should exercise as I feel like im getting fat but I am using transfer as an excuse not to do A THING exercise wise.

Jbub I even caught myself feeling my boobs at work I was thinking ohhh they are harder........ then thinking no no they are not - they are the same...

Emma83 - A line is a line ! Dont lose hope yet. I am praying it is nothing bad like a cyst - keep positive that its your bub !!!

I have this awful urge after reading all of these to poas. I have one left in the drawer and DH is jogging..... ahhhh 6dpo is too early I know... I am being silly.... Ill do some internet research on the likelihood of a positive this early. hahahahaha Tell me not to do it !!!!

waiting - my clinic has told me not do any exercise bar walking which is killing me at the moment! While I'm not a fitness freak, I do enjoy my personal training as I find it is a great stress reliever, but I'm scared of doing anything now!

Well it is another sunny day in NE Vic, and another day to get through for the TWW, and another day not knowing what is going on inside me. Its strange, you kind of think you should know what is happening...but dont. I wish I did at least then I could understand why I feel hungary all the time (comfort vs necessity?)!

BecD - good luck, and I know what you mean about not being able to exercise - we cant drink, we cant do stuff - what else are we meant to do for stress release My clinic said I could start light exercise about a week after the transfer, if I feel like it - what has yours said about resumption?

waiting1 - wow - that would be extra stressful, TWW and partner going for a job. My DH did the same thing late last year when we were just starting out, and I found it hard to find the energy to make the right noises (continually), when it did not work out. Good luck to your DH...oh, dont do the test, but spending hrs on the internet researching has to be a legitimate way to get through the TWW

farmgirl - My clinic has said that I can do the same, but I don't believe in light exercise, either I work myself properly or not at all. What a party pooper I am ! But I'm not willing to jeopardise my little embryo by being silly about it.

Im hungry all the time too but then feel unwell when I eat. Im day 7 dpo today - in4 days I am testing ! poas that is.....

Hi there ladies,

Is it alright if I pop in as well. I am also waiting TWW. It's a killer I tell you. But you have to think positive. Mind you I have been trying to think position for the past year. We have probably been actively trying for about 6 months. My partner works away alot and we never seem to time it right. But I feel that this month it has worked. I am not trying to get my hopes up, but we will have to wait and see.

hope you are all coping ok and not going too insane with the wait!
I coped a bit better today as I was back at work. Gee I was a great worker today - throwing myself into my work to try and avoid thinking. No matter what I do though I can't get rid of the nervous feeling in my stomach. I try deep breathing but feel like i am hyperventilating all the time.
I really want to get rid of the nervousness.
Is nervousness a side effect of crinone or progesterone pessaries?? I think I often get this feeling leading up to periods when there is higher progesterone levels naturally so maybe it is just a side effect???

Farm girl I know what you mean by researching for hours on the internet. I think i am getting addicted to this site too. Luckily I don't have internet at work or i would be on it all day.

I think the 2WW is a great excuse not to do exercise, housework, cooking etc. if we don't feel up to it. (pity it doesn't really work on my DF)

But I am feeling just like you today CRAP. In fact I did something stupid and went for dinner and had 4 glasses of wine and a digestive.... hmmm wont tell you how I am feeling now except to say I am not feeling pg at all and have probably stuffed it up anyway. Its 7dpo for me - is it sticking or isn't it - I don't know... but at least my wine was french...and the food delicious. I just couldnt continue to not live my life today and deal with BFN anyway so I figured if embryo strong enough it will survive anything - if its not then Im having a good night. I better go to sleep now as dont know about vent room. Thinking about you.

waiting - I think you still have to try and enjoy yourself through this, and the wine sounds nice :-)

Have had the worst mood swings and temper tantrums this cycle - it's getting ridiculous! Lucky work is so busy at the moment, it's keeping my mind occupied which is a good thing. Am obsessing over my FF chart though. Usually I have a 12 day luteal cycle, but I've heard that the crinone can delay AF arriving even if you aren't pregnant... so many things to stress out about!

Good morning all again. Yet another sunny day in NE Vic (tomorrow I'm in Melb, so I shoudl be able to report something other than sun ). Had bad nights sleep as I managed to twist at the middle last night - legs one way- upper body the other (like doing a back stretch), and got a pain in my right side - just under the ribs. Figure that it is prob just a sore ovary from the OPU still - well hope so. Starting to get pimples, and now really getting cranky (in my mind) at dh for not doing housework, tipping coffee grounds in sink and not washing them down etc - all the normal pre AF stuff - so pretty sure not pg. Oh well. Now just waiting on the letter from clinic on how many embies made it to freezing - that is my next great hope.

waiting1 - dont beat yourself up about the wine - how many people dont know they are pg till at least 6 or 8 weeks plus and during that still keep drinking and eating all the good foods that they tell us not to have - and do you notice their kids growing up differently??? In fact, look around any room of people you are with and think - can you tell which of these peoples mum's smoked/drank/breast fed them/made sure they walked at 12 months etc etc ... and I bet the answer is 'no'! So dont stress - savour how the wine (french - yum) and food tasted - who knows you may be in line for a and need that memory to get you through the next 9 months! Think positive!

BecD - I've given up on my FF chart - too much up in the air, so congrats on keeping yours going - I dont have the energy anymore.

jbub - i think that crinone has so many side effects, you might as well add nervousness to it even if it is not there - dont think they'll notice. Do you like chamemile tea (I really cant spell) - it may help a little.

emma83 - hope the vent room worked and that you are feeling a bit better today. just in case you still need one.

cg66 - hello. It must be difficultand frustrating trying to get when your partner is way. for this cycle.

Morning Ladies!!!!

Feeling better today...much better actually. Think that part of being down in he dumps yesterday was realizing that I wasn't pg this cycle.

I also went into work yesterday and a lady from our head office had flown over and she's pg with her second.
She asked when we were going to have more and I explained that we are trying but having problems so we are currently seeing a specialist (I just can't lie about the TTC troubles we're having. I tried for a while, when people would ask when we were going to have another, DF and I would just look at each other and say oh, maybe in a year or so. But people can tell you're not being genuine, and I even had one friend say to us when we used this excuse - 'oh, you guys are pregnant now aren't you'. She mistook our hesitation for being pregnant rather than having trouble being pregnant...I figure, I'm not going to try and hide away when I am sad or cranky or frustrated anymore and pretend everything is alright. If I do that I'm only going to hurt myself more because my lows will be even lower when I'm back home again).

Sorry if none of this makes any sense...

So anyway I told the lady from Head Office that we were having trouble, and she told me that she was so surprised when she fell pg both times because it pretty much happened on the day they decided to try again. I wasn't angry at her - I'm over the moon for anybody who finds they are pregnant, but I couldn't help heading to the bathroom later on for a little cry.

So AF arrived early this morning - very painful. DF rubbed my back though and got me a wheatpack and have woken feeling happy and looking forward to Clomid again tomorrow and the beginning of a new cycle.

Farmgirl77 - I seem to get cranky with DF too, and the funny thing is I know why I'm getting cranky and that it's not him at all - but in my hormonal stupor I feel justified!! Luckily he is very understanding and I tell him so too! AF doesn't arrive for you. Good luck with your little embies xx

Waiting1 - I know what you mean! I think key point to me feeling better this morning was the 2 glasses of wine I have last night while cooking/ eating dinner. Helped me fall asleep pretty much as soon as I got into bed. If it helps make you feel better and forget about TTC for one night then it's got to be doing your body more good than bad. All that laughter is the best medicine etc. Anyway, if you are in fact PG which I hope you are, I doubt it will have any negative impact this early on. Like another poster said. Some people don't find out they're PG until 6 - 8 weeks. Imagine how many more glasses of french wine they would have had over that period of time

Well ladies hope you all have a fantastic day and, I guess we're all one day closer to being PG someday
