like BW, it seems meformin/clomid alone are not working for myself and DH, however i have a friend who also has PCOS and had a metformin success story. she had struggled to conceive DD #1, and had gone through injectables and IUI before having success. she started taking metformin before TTC baby number 2, in preperation for speaking to FS, and was pg within a couple of weeks! i guess everyone is different in how they respond to meds, but there are definitely cases out there where metformin alone is enough to kick start your system! i know my FS changes my dosage of metformin after 6 months of gyn prescribing it, telling me dosage wasn't high enough, so i'm now not sure whether metformin/clomid wasn't working for me, or whether i just wasn't on a large enough dosage! i'm definitely feeling more confident on the TTC journey knowing that i'm dealing with a specialist in the field now
