TTC & Taking Clomid &/Or Metformin ~ Jan/Feb 2008

Hello Ladies

There are lots of newbies here since my last post, which was a few weeks ago.

Well after my cancelled cycle in Feb, I was patiently waiting for AF to start to commence my 5th try on clomid. On day 23 of cycle I started to spot and thought it would go away, but unfortunately here I am 10 days later and am still spotting. Rang FS yesterday and was advised that this month can't proceed (guessed as much) and am now waiting for the spotting to go away and then for AF to start again in April to hopefully have another try.

Although, if the spotting doesn't stop by next week I need to ring the FS again to see what the next step should be. I have been really frustrated as in the 5 mths that I have been taking clomid only 1 cycle proceeded with a BFN and I just turned that magical 35 which medically reduces the chances now the older I get.

Well despite my strong feelings of a positive, it was a
I was so sure........Im still getting stabbing pains in bb???!! So i did O though on day 14, obgyn said im ment to get AF 14 days after that which was 2 days ago...so guess its now a waiting game... got another app next wed and i guess we'll go from there.

Hi KellyD, I so feel for you, that is so s^!t.
Please don't give up though, it took me 7 months to get one O. Then another 4 to get my BFP.

Also I think I may have O This week. I had CM that was about 12 egg whites worth. I did the dash because I thought I had started to bleed again, but it was just egg whitey goodness.

Who would have thought my body could do anything on it's own.

OOOhhhh bummer Tryinglikecrazy!!!! I know how hard it is to get your hopes up, i'm so sorry...

Us.. well we are CD10 and Kim has all the usual Clomid symptoms... she is having some ovarian action happening tho, pains and bloating etc...as well as headaches and hot flushes etc

We go in for a scan and blood test on Monday, so will report back in then to let you know how many follies and when we'll trigger for insem...

Megan - thats a great start. they were all the same syptoms i had on clomid. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you
