hey babymonster, and welcome! Blood test on day 21 records your level of progesterone which will indicate whether or not you have ovulated. A figure of over approx 20 will indicate ovulation. A high figure MAY also indicate early conception, but is not always guaranteed.

I fell pregnant on my 5th clomid cycle last time, so it really is a wonderful thing. I never ovulate without it and always do when i take it!

    Hey baby monster,
Please don't give up. I was trying for over 2 years. I started trying in 06 started Clomid in Feb 07 it took a couple of cycles to get the right dose then another couple on the right dose to get pgt all up a year, or 8 cycles of clomid. Then got pgt yeah!!!!! had a m/c boo!!!!! then had another two rounds on clomid. Thats 10 all up. and here i am 6 weeks and 6 days pgt, terrified and excited all at the same time.
I ovulate about once a year witout clomid, and that is after a really long cycle. the longest so far is about 111 days. My FS said it wasn't a viable O because the build up was to long. I found it really good charting and watching my temp. my base temp is usually around 35.6 and after O it is around 36. This is way to cold to and the main reason why things weren't holding. So i've done everything i can to raise my body temp. lots of thermals and heaters. now it is about 36.8 which good for is baby incubation. If i hadn't found that out then I wouldn't have ever held on to lil seed.

Everyone here, has and is going through the same place of wondering, wishing and hoping. It is a fantastic place to share your dreams, worries and ask questions. The ladies are always supportive, and I found that the stories are all so varied that everything is normal and regardless the support and understanding is fantstic. It is reasuring to know we aren't alone.

Hi everyone - just got back from being away with DH!

Babymonster - Welcome - GL with you BT on Friday - hope you catch the eggie this cycle!

Dotty - welcome also! Hope the clomid is trating you nicely!

Sandy - I would have probably agreed with LouLou about ringing your specialist but if you can't what about calling your GP?? Its hard cause i know i would probably just go for it but you should probably wait - i don't know!!! Let us know what you decide xx

Airline - any news?? I hope your doing ok. xx

Maybello - All soundss promising GL xx

    LouLou - Hi!

Mel A - Thankyou for your post - they were lovely words and it cheered me up!

Well me - i'm still waiting . I went to my accupuncture appt on Fri - she said my tongue looked dark like AF was coming then gave me a long (awsome!) tratement and said my tongue had lightened which was strange??? She said if AF hasn't arrive in a few days to test again. I'm not sure - i don't feel anything - no signs at all I just want something to happen - even if it's AF arriving so i can crack on and start again! Anyway so i'm in limbo land! (i'm CD 29 today - not sure when i O (or if i O'd) - for those who don't know me!!!)
(P.S i just looked at my tongue in the mirror and it's very pale??)

Hope everyone has had a good weekend - i'm off to clean my house !!

    xxBella

Mabello do you have to wait till Tue for results due public holiday mon? Damn that public holiday!!!

Bella hope you had a good time away with DH. My acupuncturist said she didn't think I was pregnant...and unfortunately was right.

Sadly I feel like Hillary Clinton. I'm outta this race. Like her I was hanging on by skin of my teeth, but my cramping today is constant and getting worse, bad enough for panadol and hot water bottle. oh well much to one and all left who are still .....will keep an eye on how you guys go. I'm off to my parents for dinner as DH is working tonight.

    Hi girls,

Thanks for all your replies.Went back to work today after my 2 days off and am feeling so exhuasted this afternoon....I was falling asleep at 6.30pm. So unusual for me.Anyway am trying to stay awake to finish off things for hubby's party on sat...Poor fella he's outside cleaning up the garage to help!

Girls, I was just wondering if anyone got tired and had to go to the toilet more than usual after taking clomid? Sorry if it's to personal but i have been weeing heaps and have had to get up during the night for the last 5 days which is out of the ordinary. It's kinda off putting but funny at the same time when i turn around in the loo and find 2 dogs and a cat right behind me following everywhere i go at that time of night...lol..gotta love the furkids!
