I don't know where you are in vic exactly (country or metro) is, but I'd suggest seeing a osteopath or physio (one specialised in pregnancy if you can find one would be great). I'm seeing an osteo who does a lot of work with pregnant women, and she was saying that often when you "pop out" it puts a lot of strain on hips/back, which can result in a lot of soreness.
I'd been getting some round ligament pain in my lower pelvic area...(and I haven't "popped" yet) and she did some very gentle work on my hips and all the twinges have just disappeared - was fab!
Good luck and I hope you're able to get some help with it soon! My personal opinion would be that while fish oil may help a bit with the inflammation, you might want to do something a bit more targetted for whatever is causing the pain.
