hi leigh26 and pollyanna.

leigh - re your bfast reading yes it could have been as you had a very low fasting level. are you having anything after dinner, before bed?? i found i would wake super thirsty in the morning and having a snack after dinner like warm milk and a "le rice" or even just the milk depending if i was hungry, realkly helped with this. if your level is so low after fasting this might help stabilise your fasting levels. my endo said anything under 4 was a little too low and i could afford to add more to the meal i'd had but also i wasn't having to test my fastings levels, only the ones after meals.

i also found that low gi bread spiked my levels way higher than normal wholemeal or multigrain so could just be the first time you ate it something balanced it out but this time didn't.

p.s. sorry if any typos but trying to type one handed while holding a 4 week old in the other..
