Hey Clar,i dont really know to much about it but ive heard once your a c/s your aways a c/s cause there are alot of dangers. I was stuffing around on here the other night and having a nosey . I came across this thread which comes up under the tubal reversal search. Its called im having a op!!! I was reading what everyone had to say in that thread and i came across one story about this lady by the name of tiggy, and she is a midwife. There was a link at the bottom of her post about a baby she had lost from doing that very same thing, his name was William David the poor little darln. Let me tell you i wish i never found it, it was a very sad story so make sure you have the tissuse out ready to go. Have a read darl

Good to hear from you Storm and Angel. So glad you liked the pressy. DIdnt want to get her cloth's cause everyone does that. Had to give her something that said birthday. So how different is it having a new bub mate? I bet Zac is over the moon.
Mumof5-I havent read that but now Im going to go and look for it. I tried in vain to go natural but I was only told after having Vyolett that my pelvis is to badly twisted to go natural. Id rather get cut open so to speak then to play with my babies life. I'll be having a nother c/s when I fall pg again to and yes I'll be $hitting myself with that one aswell.

Hi Storm, hope you and bub are doing well. Are you b/f? I really miss that. I loved it so much. How did you birth go? did you have a c-section? (hope it's okay to ask)
Hey maz, thats full on isn't it-about your pelvis-you are courageous! I don't know if i could bear another c-section and if God willingly i have another child, it will be normal delivery. I have only had the one c-section and never want to go through that again. I think the doctors and the care team around you make the hugest difference when it comes down to it. Thats why i asked if anyone knew about vbac. I just finished my first period. Not as i hoped but okay-lasted for 8 days. I was hoping it would have been a little lighter too-but not so. I'm not really on the ttc, as i believe in God and have left it up to him. I have just prayed that it would not be ectopic and not m/c as i have had 4 of those:frown:
Em, hope everything is okay. I am still for everyone and hope God hears me. I am a little annoyed though, that Dr cooper didn't send the photos after the operation-would have been a nice present. Oh I went searching for that lady tiggy-where i read she had mentioned that the little boy had a major heart problem in the aorta. I couldn't find the thread you mentioned, i ended up looking up her name and found 'hi im new here'. Anyway I also found some comforting info about vbac-and i encourage you to sticky. I have had 5 normal births and if God willingly I am to have another child, it will be v/b.

Hi everyone . So happy to have discovered this chat line.am in desperate need to chat all that have gone thru tubal reversal. I had tubes clamped in November 2006 & am finding it very difficult to come to terms of not having any more children. I have 3 - 10 year old,6 & 4 year old. am now looking into reversal. Gp is not giving me much hope but gave me a referal today to see a specialist in melbourne. am finding it virtually impossible to find any dr who specilises in this field in melbourne. Luv kids, the i read you went to dr cooper i read about him on the net. What was he like? I'd rather not travel to sydney for obvious reasons. but if i can't find any one legit i might have to. the most important thing is making sure i get a doctor to knows what he is doing as its such a delicate operation. You gals are all so lucky to have so many kids they are really such a blessing & bring so much joy and happiness. I just don't want it to end! Talk soon!

carma - get a referral for the reproductive unit at the Royal womens in carlton. Thats were I got my reversal done and they were fantastic. My first appointment was in April with hubby, then I had to go back in august for blood tests and then I had my reversal in october 2005. I didn't even have to wait 10 months and it was all done on the public list. I didn't have to pay one cent. They were truely wonderful. give it a go mate.

Hey Carma..I would try what Maz said,it sounds like the way to go if you dont mind waiting. I also had my reversal with Dr cooper and i found him to be good at what he does but maybe not the best at comunication...lol but what guy is. I picked to go to the RPA hospital as a private uninsured patient the reason being it was only $269.00 for the surgery and hospital stay and the doctors costs were on top of that. Hey Clara- i guess with your c/s it was very sudden and rushed. Both of mine were planned c/s cause of the damage done from my third child and number 4 was up side down anyway. Its a very personal choice i guess, but ive had two planned c/s now and they were great and the best thing is you get a date so you can plan everything and you get to have the baby 2weeks early .Gotta love that idea when your big fat and pregnant and just want it over and done with.

Hey carma, I'm glad you found us too. I had my reversal done by Dr cooper as well in Sydney but it cost me thousands. The reason, though, was because one of my tubes was diagonsed as a hydrosalpinx ( were fluid swells in the tube and stretches it)-this was from my ligation. I think maz has the right answer for you-especially if you are in Melbourne. My sister had clips done, and she was able to have it reversed in the public system as well. I hope you succeed!!! Keep chatting with us!!
Hey maz, Hope things are going well for you... I luv your photo's volyett is gorgeous!
Hey Em, My c/s wasn't planned-but wasn't a emergency either. The doctors confused...first they said that i would be fine, and then they told me I was having a c/s. then i was started on the induction drip and because i was so upset, as i did not sleep all night, she pulled the drip from my arm and said i was not capable of proceeding with the drip. This is why I am so angry at the hospital. I am glad that you handle you c/s okay, just for me, they shouldn't have done it-cause it wasn't necessary. I am just so annoyed because i was to weak and they cornered me-to save their time. I doubt I'm the only one either.

Thanks Maz I'll try ringing royal womens tommorrow. Did they do the op. via laparoscopy? Mum of 5, amazing how you managed to get Dr Cooper to do the op. for much less $$$$. Was it because of the Hospital you went to & did you have to wait a long time.?? My major problem is lack of time I'm almost 38 I'm desperate to get it done hopefully within the next 3 months.am i dreaming? I know i'm full of so many questions. Thanks so much already for your help.

Hi guys, Angel is great, she is a sleepy head like Zac, so i get to sleep all night still! When she does wake, Daddy gets her a bottle.Woo hoo!! She is having boobie juice & bottle, coz after the transfusion my milk went away & it doesn't fill her up, don't know whether I'll ever get a good supply, but not too worried.
Mumof5, she was a vag birth, but after I hemorrhaged & had to have an op & transfusion, but getting better now.

Hi Carma, welcome!! You'll get heaps of support here!!

good to hear from you storm. Angel jsut osunds so yummy and good. Hows little Zac going? wont be needing the name ellie, have thought of a different name - Willow. Seems like im staying with the natural theme. lol.
carma - the op is a cut like a c/s. they have to take the tube out, cut away the damaged section, sew it together then pump die through it to see if there's any leaks. Its a painfull op mate but so worth it. I fell pg nearly straight away and I fell again 2 months after having Vy (I m/c) being looking at October as the earliest date to start for #4 if Jed lets me.lol

Hi Carma.... The RPA Hospital is a public hospital thats why it was so cheap because Dr cooper does do work out of there.I think i waited 6 to 8weeks. I had my tubes cut and a piece taken out when i had my c/s with my last baby. When i had my reversal they made a small cut in my belly button one on my pubic line and one either side of my tummy, maybe 1cms in lenghth very small, all micro surgery.Yeah it was a laparscopy. Then they ran the dye thru my tubes once they had put them back together.hehe i was wondering why i had all this blue stuff down there. If you dont ask questions you wont get answers. Just jump in feet first and get it under way and then only time will tell.
