Hi Me4Ever - most definitely! My friends think it's a bit weird knowing but like you said, I saw a heartbeat, it was a little being and I really wanted to be able to acknowledge it as just that, not just that I miscarried, but I miscarried a daughter. They deserve the acknowledgement after all. xx

me4ever Congratulations on your engagement! Being engaged is a lovely time, do you have a ring yet?

Bubble147 - I'm so sorry for your loss and wish it hadn't happened to you. Glad you have come to get some support from all of the lovely people in this group.

Miss B - Oh I am wishing you so much luck for this cycle. FX this is the one for you.

Alison - i hope af shows up soon for you so you know what is going on! I am in the TWW! Although we didn't have the bding covered like we usually would due to everyone being sick at the crucial moments. I don't know that my body is ready anyway as I still had light spotting right up till ovulation. I ovulated late this month, but when I got my positive opk it was super-strong (more than usual), so it was a really big surge. I don't know what that means, probably just that it had to be a strong surge to get my body back into action.

Hi Smamfa - wow you getting back on the horse straight away? lol Good on you, I'm not game to do anything until I've spoken to the clinic next month, I want to be sure everything is right and ready to go, 4 miscarriages is too many for me to feel comfortable giving it a go as getting pregnant isn't my problem. Wishing you lots and lots of sticky vibes, yay!!!!

AFM - Well, AF is here, 5 weeks to the day after my D&C.

    Hi girls,
Thank you for your kind words and words of wisdom.

Alison - that is good AF has come, hopefully your cycle will return to normal (or what it was) after this month.

Me4ever- congrats on the engagement! What lovely news.

MLr- I'm sorry to see you in here, I was in the due in Jan group until a couple of weeks ago. I hope you are ok and starting to heal.

Miss b - the very best of luck and positive vibes heading your way for your next IVF cycle bi can only imagine it is a roller coaster of emotions. Sending lots of positive vibes your way.

I am doing a bit better today, had a bad day yesterday. I just feel so wring getting on with everyday life. I think it is really lovely that some of you found out if your angels were boys or girls. I wasn't offered the option, my Ib said he generally doesn't test after just one miscarriage vmy DH and I did discuss funding out the sex but decided not to as we thought it would make it harder. Now I wish a little bit that we had found out. I am terrified of another pregnancy but am thinking we might try again after my next period. But then ibfeel a bit guilty for trying again so soon. Am still working through the emotions I guess. It is nice to be able to come in here and just let it all out though, with peoPle that understand.

    Thanks for listening.

Hugs to all. Hope everyone is ok.

Bubble, thank you for you lovely words hun, and I am so sorry again about your recent loss . The only reason why we found out the gender of our embryo was because we wanted to see why I had the m/c (my maternal age is quite advanced) and since we were having the d & c, the doctor agreed. It did actually make it harder to find out what the gender was, as we have had 2 boys and this time it would have been a girl. Take one day at a time hun, m/c is a tough journey, but each day is a bit easier and there is absolutely no reason to feel guilty about trying again soon after a m/c. I also wanted to try asap after both my losses. Big hugs sweetie, and I wish you every success in your TTC journey xx

Hi Bubble - there is never a right or wrong time to conceive a bub, you go for it sweets and hoping this is the one for you xx

Hi Miss B - how did your pick up go? I am crossing everything I possibly can for you. I wish I could join you as us "advanced maternal age" girls lol should stick together but I will have to wait another month. I am only just now starting to get the pang to try again, it came back straight away last miscarriage but this one has taken a little longer to get over.

Just popping in to say hi.

FINALLY everything has gone back to relatively normal (6wks of bleeding and pain and drama, Im exhausted). I had my period and am now mid-cycle (I think?) and had some pains today that possibly indicate ovulation. Too bad DH is away til mid july Saw the FS and he pretty much told me to ttc when Im ready and come back to see him when Im pregnant. Which is kind of effing pointless considering by 6-7wks its already to late. So now I have to decide what I want to do.............the thought of even dtd has me wanting to throw up and in a panic attack these days I thought I was doing much better but yesterday and today Ive been a complete mess.

Hope your all doing as ok as you can be

    Hi everyone!
Bubble, MLR and Smamfa - thanks for the congrats! I am sooooo excited I do have a ring yes, went to pick one together, it's gorgeous! We're hoping to get married in December, and I'm so excited as my parents will be able to fly over from Europe and my sister as well. I'm hoping my brothers might be able to come too, fingers crossed.
Freya - big hugs from me. It's weird isn't it, you think you're doing alright, but then all of a sudden it hits you again and you feel like a mess. I suppose it will get better with time, I hope so at least... We've only DTD twice since D&C and the first time hurt sooo much...

Thanks again for the kind words girls

Miss b - I hope the collection went well the other day. I'm not sure what is involved but I hope it wasn't too hard on you.

Me4ever- how exciting planning a wedding, and sobgreat your parents and sister will be able to make it too.

Alison - I can only imagine it gets harder to have the courage to try again each time, but I am glad for you that the urge is starting to come back. I guess it will always seem scary now, but you sound like a strong woman and I hope next time is the one that will give you a beautiful baby.

Freya - I am so sorry to read you have lost four little Angels. No wonder you feel worried about even DTD, it is understandable. I hope in time that it gets easier for you and you can start to plan for the future again. Must be tough with your DH away. Sendings big hugs and I hope you can start to heal now that your cycle is back.

I agree that some days are better then others. I have had some really bad days this week but then others I have managed to carry on with things. I just hope it gets easier with time.

    Hi Everyone,
I wanted to pop back in and say thanks to the person (who now I can't see who it was that said it) mentioned being tested for UREAPLASMA!! After some trusted googling I found a Dr who has linked this to not only fertility issues but also recurrent miscarriages. So I went to my Dr today and he had heard of this and we are getting tested today for this plus two other similar bugs. These bugs have no symptoms but have been proven to affect fertility and miscarriages. So a big big thankyou to the mention!!

On another note, after a few tears and lots of talks, DH and I have decided to start trying again, I will get the test results before I O next week, and then the rest is out of our hands. We got pregnant the last two times in the first month of trying, so who knows what is ahead for us? I feel dubious, postive and scared crazy time all mixed into one!!!!!

Wow Ladybirdflies that will be interesting! I don't know if I've been tested for that, I will definitely ask at my appointment in a little under 2 weeks.

    How is everyone going?

Girls I'm starting to get worried, it's been 6.5 weeks since my D&C and still no AF, is this normal? I had spotting a week ago for a few days, brown in colour but it never eventuated into anything. With my low egg count now I'm freaking out I've run out of eggs, is that possible to just suddenly happen? Argh what is going on, last D&C I was AF 3 weeks later, this sucks

Alison- in waiting for af too (natural m/c though)
I thought I was o'ing last week but I dunno what's going on, it's been about six weeks too. Fx our bodies decide to get their acts together soon (I personally would love to feel normal again soon) I too had spotting but wasn't af (literally I have never had an af that is "just spotting")

Afm- so waiting for af still thought I started o'ing last weekend as I had ewcm (tmi alert!!!) which turned into like a jelly consistency! It was streaked with brown (not unusual for spotting when o for me) but the whole jelly part has happened before not often but can't remember why or when but last almost a week. I though I had af last night as I felt a "gush" but nope just alot of cm *ewww!* but have stopped spotting again for the last couple of days yay! My bleeding problem does my head in not to mention expensive having to buy pads so often!
I hope you girls are going along well, hope your all having a good weekend xx

Hi Ashie wow that is exactly how it's been for me!! I had that EWCM a few weeks ago and then not this past week the week before I started spotting brown - which always happens before my AF as I have progesterone issues, but it didn't eventuate into anything and then a few days ago I started having that gushing feeling like you mentioned thinking it was AF but it was just....well discharge - yuk! But it wasn't the usual EWCM, just clear without the stringyness, just like when you're pregnant and you notice it increasing - I never get that, what the h is going on with us!!! Grrrr I have to say I feel better knowing I'm not the only one waiting this long, maybe our HCG took longer to leave our bodies as they say you won't ovulate until it's at zero. But then I swear like you I ovulated a few weeks ago as I had the EWCM plus the usual O pains. I give up!

Last weekend my maybe baby had ferns so I am too positive I've ovulated! ATM my ovaries seem sore? Well I'm pretty certain it's them two lol.
I'm on day 45 and counting, longest cycle I think I've had!
I've been so down lately, bleeding problem honestly makes me wanna cry I "think" I may be getting dh onside for ttc another baby I don't want to spend another summer stuck in trackies, not being able to go swimming etc
And being pregnant cures it! (my body must love being pregnant lol) still trying to find a fix in the meantime (ob mention ablation but something only to consider once we are certain no more babies!)
I am honestly far from normal!!
