Lisa - oh no! I hope bubs turns around again soon. I can't believe how close you are now.
Deb - sweetie, thinking of you.
Spring - woohoo on the TTing and getting rid of the dummy! DD is similar - she has to have two dummies at night - one for her mouth and one in her hand. It is a pain because if she loses one during the night she wakes up and we have to find it for her or she won't go back to sleep. I am looking forward to the day when she decides to give up the dummies!
Janie - so good to see your ticker chugging along - I keep checking where you are at and you are so close to 34 weeks now which is great!
Lee - wow on the 8 hour sleep! I am finding that J will spread his feeds to four hours or sometimes longer during the day but is still wanting three hourly feeds at night! Such a pain, but he is a pretty easy baby compared to his sister.
Willow - OMG what a scare that must have been. I have nightmares about things like that happening. They just move so fast! DD has vanished from me in a split second and I panic when there are cars around. And woohoo on joining the gym!
Jo - how are you feeling now sweetie? When is your scan?
mako - glad you managed to get the BTs done. That would make me so angry!
We are chugging along here. Not getting a lot of sleep but I guess that is no surprise with a newborn. He is a pretty good baby really. Meanwhile DD still doesn't sleep through the night and DH and I have started fighting over it. I really don't know what to do. Other than the dummy issue, which is often why we are up to her during the night, we also made the stupid stupid mistake some time ago of letting her take a bottle of milk to bed with her. Obviously at the time I didn't realise that is a big no no, and it did help with her sleep for a while. Now I realise how bad it is for her teeth so want to stop it, plus she has started waking during the night asking for more milk, EVERY NIGHT. It is driving us crazy and she is 2 now so DH really feels that she should sleep through the night. I have tried watering down the milk which I get away with as long as it is not too watered down, and when she asks for more milk during the night she doesn't get it, I will only refill her bottle with water. Does anyone have any tips? We have had such a hard time with her sleep issues and the last thing I want to do is go there again, but there is no way she will go to sleep without the bottle. Now DD is a VERY strong willed little girl. She will cry all night if she is not happy about something. I have no idea what to do!
