Freya - Oh my gosh what a terrible time you've had My DD1 gets croup too, I know how scary it can be - our first bout she ended up in hospital I hope all your boys are feeling better soon.
Bun - How difficult when you and DH don't agree on what to do FWIW I agree with Bek and Willow, I'd be really suspicious that the sleeping is to do with bubby, but having said that we had terrible troubles with DD1 and her sleeping around the 18 - 24 month mark as well. I've not used a dummy so can't really comment on that, but would she maybe take water instead of milk in the bottle if you really can't get rid of the bottle like Bek said? Also, a book like the No Cry Sleep Solution may have some good suggestions, we used it for DD1 and it had some great suggestions for bedtime routines which really worked for us. Oh and we also realised that DD1 doesn't like sleeping in the dark! BTW, happy birthday hun for the other day.
Spring - What a clever big boy!
Kelly - hope you are doing OK today
Lisa - Sounds like you are very organised
Mako - Oh hun I'm so sorry to hear you had such trouble at the pathology place. GRRRRR to that woman on the phone, I don't blame you for being angry that is just cr@p when you are coming so far to have it done. Sorry I still haven't been in touch, its been a shocker of a week here
Willow - How's the sleeping in our own room going? Hope you're getting a bit more sleep now, we aren't LOL
AFU, little E has been sick this week along with her big sis. On Mon night she vomited after her solids and after a milk feed then woke up in the middle of the night as hot as anything - temp was 39 and vomited again. We were booked in to have immunisations done the next day so they got called off and because I was a bit worried about the combination of fever and vomiting and we saw the doctor instead. He was worried about a UTI as well, but she came good later that day so I'm sure she just had whatever it was DD1 had. They are both on the mend now though and so far I have not managed to catch it touch wood. We also started solids last weekend and its going cr@p too. She had them the day she was sick because I didn't know she was sick at that stage, but now she's better she is still gagging and vomiting after even a tiny bit. She doesn't like rice cereal but she seems to like other stuff like avocado and sweet potato, so I'm really in 2 minds as to whether or not to give her a break for a couple of weeks.
