Oh the WorkCover ad – totally! I love that ad though, with the working Mum coming home, and the Dad coming home to the teenagers that sneer at him but the dog bounds up and gives him a slobber.

I've always been emotional - I cry when I am sad, happy, overwhelmed etc... and it has become alot more prominent since I had my DD.

I use to be a lot worse than I am now but when I am at home alone or its just me and DD yeah I cannot help it, my guard goes down and I have a good blubber.

DD almost got me going at playgroup a month or so ago. For the first time she was interacting in the song and dance part along with her 5yo friend and she kept looking over at me beaming, it was just gorgeous.

Then yesterday she pulled open my PJ top and started pointing to my boobies and she was saying "boobies" then started rubbing my tummy saying "BABY" then kissed my tummy and kept rubbing it - seriously it was the most beautiful moment.

I was never a crier... never. You couldn't get a tear to pass my ducts. Now though since the kids... I cry at everything, ads, tv, poems, books, stories, random things happening, songs, you name it, I start to blubber lol.

I cry at new year when the bells chime midnight. No idea why.

    Every. Single. Year.

Woohoo Sue me too! I am not alone!! Yay!

Strangely... I did not cry on my wedding day! I had a moment when I got out of the car, Dad was holding my arm and saying "How you doing, doing ok?" while Mum fluttered around with a tissue... that I didn't need, I got a bit teary walking down the aisle and took advantage of our first worship song to belt out a good tune, then I was gold

    Weird!

Not strange - big crier here! I cry when I am proud of something - like if I am sharing an acheivment of one of the children in my care with another staff member, sometimes I well up a bit and have to walk away so they don't see how stupid I am. I cry over all sorts of things, movies, babies, weddings, baby animals, actual sad stuff, etc - actually I very nearly welled up reading your touching words!

Might I add, I don't actually audibly sob for 3.5 minutes over a double rainbow!

Yup another one here. Can't sing happy birthday to anyone cos I just tear up. Its ridiculous. Thankfully my kids don't really like it being sung to them so I don't have to go through that torture.. LOL

But yes, songs, movies, books, birth stories all get me crying. Can't sing the whole of Meds by Placebo without crying for some stupid frackin' reason. I'm such a wuss.
