My name is Rhiannon, I'm 19 and I have a 2 1/2yr old daughter. I've lived in Cairns most of my life however am having trouble meeting new people that I can somehow relate to (as most people my age are going out clubbing all the time, quite awkward with a kid). Would love to hear about any mothers groups around, I've recently moved from the beaches to the city, so possibly closer to city.

OK then, after my last little note to all, I heard from the lovely Naomi, and she had a plan to try get us to meet up at Muddy's on the Esplanade at 9.30am on either Tues, Wed, Thu, or Fri of each week to have a catch up and let our little ones play. I think it sounds like a great idea, and a good excuse for us socialise and make some friends.
