    Default Bleeding

I woke this morning to be presented with a medium amount of dark red blood, I'm so worried that this might be my fourth mc in a row.

I haven't had this type of blood before, but I have had some sharp pain on & off.

    Has anyone had it?
I'm waiting for my OB's office to open so hopefully they can see bub

Candy Jay:hugs: My last pregnancy was not so good and I did loose my little one ( had spotting and cramps) but remember not all bleeding is a sign of loss. Alot of girls have bleeding throughout there pregnancies at different times and all is ok. This pregnancy I had bright red spotting at 4 weeks and thought this is the end but now I am 27 weeks.
I am praying for you and your little one.

I have had spotting/bleeding since about 6 weeks with this pregnancy varying amounts and colours, from bright to dark , in hospital emergency at 7 weeks with cramping and thought for sure I was going to lose the baby. Just had my 13 week scan and the baby is healthy and happy and no sign of the bleeding, in my case it was a sub H where the placenta tears away form the uterine wall, it requires lots of rest(bed) to heal. I hope you ar eable to get in to see your OB, if not a trip to hospital may be worthwhile. Good luck and hope all turns out well.

Thanks so much for your replies, I was completely freaked this morning.

I managed to get onto my OB who sent me to a specialists for an u/s this morning. Everything came back perfect & babies heart was beating nicely at 164bpm.

The OB seems to think I have had an irritation to the top of the placenta & has caused a clot that burst. They don't see anymore bleeds so just rest & wait it out. My OB said I'll see you in 4 weeks so I'm a little more at ease (as when I have had difficulty I've seen him every week)

I'm still having the cramps, so will need to wait it out & see what happens, but there is hope

That's great, remember to rest, no lifting, leave the housework to someone else or pay someone, it is just not worth taking the risk. While you have the cramping it is your body telling you to take it real easy so remember to listen.
