I always say that the one day you can pretty much guarantee bub WON'T arrive is the due date!

MantaRay, I hear you on the Grand Final thing. DS was born right on Grand Final Day, 6 days late. I had so many people ask me what my husband would do if that happened and luckily I could say it didn't really matter because he is a Kiwi so not too bothered about the AFL!

But the timing is a PITA already for parties and DS has only just turned 2. We have quickly realised that if DS is ever going to have a birthday party it can't be on Grand Final Day because so many people won't come...and when he goes to school his birthday will be in school holidays.
