Ros - CONGRATULATIONS BABE! Soooo happy for you. well done. And I am with Mel - whatever colour - wishing you a happy healthy baby - or two as they case may be!
Relle - best of luck with Cooper's appointment. I really am sending you positive thoughts, and hope that all is well. I wonder when your client will deliver - how exciting!!! Very diplomatic on your advice to Jules about Linda on the phone initially! I think she is hilarious now but boy, she can have her moments!
Mel - I am definitely feeling like my old self more now. the two week mark was a milestone with the stitches and all seems to be healing well. thank goodness. Anytime from now is fine with me for a get together! keeps me sane to get out of the house and talk to grown ups! LOL
Ella - glad all is going well with you apart from the swelling - it's not very glamorous is it! - don't worry about the weight gain - you will find that Dennis doesn't! And so much ends up being fluid - it falls off me in the hospital and I put on about 15 this time and am back to my pre-weight now. Breast feeding sure helps too....yay on the calm birth - I think Dennis will support you in whatever you decide and he does advise an open mind too as anything can happen - as I discovered this time!
Jules - welcome! Dennis is the best. Relle is right - he is fantastic, amazingly affordable for what you get and you are right on his bedside manner - brilliant. He is totally supportive of ultrasounds if you feel you want extra etc but is very calm about appointments. not everyone likes that minimal approach - no weighing, regular urine tests or ultrasounds or anything, but it worked for me! Hope you jump on board! I got the pink polo this time!
All still good with me and Mimi - she is putting on weight and being a good girl with her sleep so can't complain. I think she might be having a growth spurt or something because she has been hungrier that last few days.....
Ella - LOL about the symmetrical ankles! I had those with Chelsea as I was heavily pregnant during a really hot summer! I couldn't put shoes on and had to wear thongs to work (not a good look in a suit!) towards the end. Don't worry too much about the weight gain, its going to happen and it usually comes off pretty easily. I gained a whopping 23kg with Chelsea but it was mainly fluid. How exciting about the Calm Birth classes, can't wait to hear what you think of them.
Jules - welcome to the club! As you can see, we all love Dennis and you wouldn't be disappointed if you did switch OB's.
Relle - will be thinking of you tomorrow, good luck and hope your client doesn't go into labour tomorrow!
Gigi - thats great news that you are starting to feel better, and after such a short time, well done! He must have done a really good job! Mimi sounds like she is being kind to her mummy, good girl.
Ros - how are you travelling? Has it sunk in yet?
We should start to think about a date to catch up? Any ideas of what day?
Apparently in about 7 months I will be a qualified midwife - yikes!

Hi girls,
I have been very slack, but thought I had better update you all about Cooper's appointment.
Firstly it all went very weel thank goodness. The extra tooth was a concern for them as there are a couple of genetic conditions that are indicated by it, but one of them would also involve him being floppy and unalret, and the other would mean alot of facial deformities, which he also does not suffer from.
They are referring him to the dental specialists at the childrens, but aside from that they are happy that he is well and developing normally, so thankfully that is a huge weight off our shoulders.
On another note, we have also purchased a new house in Frankston and our house here in Caulfield East is going to auction. We are in a townhouse with 2 bedrooms and a study, and only 1 living area, so we are not going to know ourselves with 3 bedrooms plus study, 2 living areas, a backyard and huge driveway for the boys to ride bikes etc, a spa and entertaining area. We really really like it and it is on the absolute outskirts, so surrounded by rural properties as well.
We are pretty confident of this house going at auction, the agents are very optimistic about the market etc, so hopefully as of 23rd of June this will be sold!
I had better go, in the middle of tea, and still waiting for my client to go into labour!!!!
