Yep, that sounds very similar to my experience Cruzey! Everyone only cared about the baby, so I got very good at changing the subject. And if I got really sick of it, I'd ask something specific about that person's life. People love talking about themselves lol.

I got opposite comments to you though, people couldn't believe I'd ever use cloth nappies. So I got told to just use disposables, as they're easier and cleaner; breastfeeding can be hard, formula is easy; don't bother not using the drugs, get an epi as soon as you can ().

I also got asked if I should be driving (at 22 weeks) and if I should be carrying my work 'like that' (at 30 weeks - it was only two folders lol). So yeah, I did tell that particular guy that I'm pregnant, not sick, it doesn't affect my driving ability and my arms do still work lol.

If I were you I'd have a chat to your DP, just let him know how you're feeling and that you'd like him to back off a little. And going to your mum is not a good thing!

I think the other thing is you are feeling really really overwhelmed by it all, do go and speak to your GP or Midwife about it, because sometimes it can be more that just hormones, I'm not saying it is, I'm just saying there's a possibility.

But, I can understand why you would be completely over it all. Pregnancy isn't just about a baby, you are putting in the hard yards and bringing this new life into the world, people should be asking how you are!

When it comes down to the nitty gritty stuff like nappies, feeding and labour... you do what is right for you, noone else can tell you what you should do.
