I'd go for it. It's your birthday! Make the glass stretch through the night and have regular sips of water too.
I am a beer lover. My husband is also a beer lover.. So I have sips of his beer more than once a week.
With DS1 I had a massive craving for red wine. One night we had some friends over for dinner and they were all drinking red and I couldn't bear it any longer.. I got DH to pour me a small glass, I drank about half of it and never felt like it again!
