wonderful news Farmgirl, hope you rest up and share soon.

Just a quick question ladies that are a bit further along than me. Did you tummy feel sore around 15 weeks. it's not cramps it's just uncomfortable, couldn't sleep on it last night and now I don't want anything on it at all. But am keeping cloths on as I'm at work, but the seatbelt on the way it was almost too much. It's around my pelvice more.

When baby attached i felt like fingers were poking me in the belly now it feels like an elbow. I've also been getting butterflies. and last night a diffinate set of four pokes in the same spot.

I'm hoping this is just my body making room, I'd be thrilled if the pokes were bubs but not holding my breath yet. I dont' have an OB app for 3 weeks and after last time I phoned and got the 'wait and see' re bleeding I'm not keen to phone with odd pokes. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Cautiously Dipping My Toes in the Pg Pool...

    Hi Girls,

I recognise a few names in here from the AC/2WW threads back in April/May, so great to see so many success stories! To those I don't know, Hi!!! I look forward to following all your journeys and learning lots from you all! I am so clueless!

Just had my BT today and it came back with a big fat !!! I am over the moon! DH is stoked but is also in a little shock. We're trying not to get too excited just yet as we know we still have a long way to go. Anyway it's great to have someplace to share as we've told immediate family but will wait til we are "safe" before we share with everyone else. It's so hard cause I wanna shout it from the rooftops! Either way I just hope our little cookie decides he/she likes us enough to stick around this time!

Anyway hope you all have a totally awesome weekend, I know I will! Look forward to more chats & personals soon! to anybody who may be ready to "POP" this weekend :-)

    Kell xx

Afternoon girls - how exciting a bub!!!

BOC - great news about the blood test - I'm sure you will have a great weekend.

AFM - I was thinking it was great that I hadn't felt sick (this was morning) at all - well wasn't I put back in my place - have been venturing to the toilet all afternoon and feel like c..p.

Anyway, rest is the key I guess. Am starting to feel like it is getting more real now - have my first scan on Monday morning

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Farmgirl: I also commented in the BA, but congrats on the arrival of Archer. A little ear;y then expected, but at least he made it safe and sound.

BOC: Welcome. If you thought your TWW was stressful just wait for all your nerves to kick in. It is good that we have lots of newbies in here for you to compare notes with. I think some of us old timers are starting to get a bit of "Baby Brain" and find it hard to remember the early stage symptoms.... I know I do...

Greenslw: Until 18 weeks I was suffering from huge amounts of pelvic pain (really low) and my OB advised that it was my pelvis stretching to make room for baby. It didn't help that bubs made a habit of sitting crossed legged wedged into my pelvis at that time which made the discomfort worse. From memory I couldn't sleep on my tummy from about 12 weeks, so if you've made it to 15 you have done well. Now we can welcome you to the side sleeping club, although I don't think it will be too long until I move up to the sleeping upright club.

AFM: Yay, got some sleep last night... Oh what a relief, although I got up as I had bad tummy cramps (damn constipation). Also had a massage today to help with all these aches and pains... Wow, you don't realise how tight all your muscles can get, but at least I now have relieved some of the pressure & fingers crossed get some more sleep tonight.

Kelly, so glad you were able to get some sleep last night. Let's hope the massage has relaxed you enough to crash out again tonight! I'm with you on crappy upright sleeping... Some nights half the bed is pillows trying to keep me propped upright!! Thank goodness those nights are few and far between.

31becc, it's good your PG is starting to feel more real...shame it has to come with yucky symptoms though. GL for Monday morning's scan.

BOC, congratulations on your BFP! Best wishes for the nest 9 months ahead. Love the idea of a "cookie in the cookie jar"!

Greenslw, side sleeping is not the best when you're used to sleeping on your tummy. I'm a tummy sleeper too but it doesn't take long to get used to sleeping on your side when as soon as you're on your tum it's uncomfortable.

Bella and Smithy, hope your scans went well today.

Hi to all the other lovely PG ladies in here at the moment. Hope you're baking your bubs well.

Thanks KellyD and Kaydee I'm not happy to be in the side sleeper club I tell you, my neck is out and I'm not really sleeping. I tried using DP as a body pillow but he grids his teeth talks and wriggles way too much. I'm going to buy an inert one today or tomorrow. I already miss sleep.

KellyD glad you slept better, gives me hope. Massages are worth their weight in gold.

Becc sorry you're still getting sick, goodluck for Monday

    Boc congratulations. and welcome.

ATM. in class and not really focussed my students are working which is great and I'm trying to stay focussed but failing. I'm thinking of what to have for lunch. already

We were going to tell DSD tomorrow about the pg, she's 20 and not that involved in DP's life, but it seams her mum has made plans to stop us. She doesn't know about pg but is so frustraighting, we hardly see DSD due to earlier brainwashing and when we finally nail down a day, there is a 'family function' that DSS isn't even going to. you'd think after 16 years of devorce she'd let go a little more. grrrrrr

Well I dont really know how I am feeling at the moment. Blah really. I feel sick bloated and in pain. Has anyone had really sore girl bits. I could hardly walk on friday after work it hurt so much. I have had to go and buy maternity pants at 11 weeks man this is not right. This is so different than with Campbell. Oh well as long as it stays there all is good right I can put up with being in pain.
We have a baby sitter today so we are off to the movies and out for lunch we never have a babysitter so I am really excited.
Oh have to tell you about a nightmare I had the other night, I woke up gasping for breath. We went for our 12 week scan and there was two, one had been hiding before. I es in such a panic. Pregnancy dreams are just wonderful.
Just over a week to go and I will be completely off progesterone support. I have to open a bottle for just one pesserie great $75 dollars down the toilet.

    Oh Smithy how cute

Saph I still have 1 full jar and a few, I'm thinking of taking them back to the clinic, not sure how long they last but prob not 2+ years. Bet you can't wait to stop em, they suck. Sore girlie bits, yep but only twinges, I've stopped wearing gstrings except to the gym and brought more comphy undies (bonds full brief are awsome) last for ages too.

ATM really on cloud nine, had a great sleep. Extra pillow did the trick. Went shopping with my mum, so funny went to buy plants couldn't decided so baught a rake! Pg brain or what.

    Have a great sunday all.

Everyone else hope all is well and your little babies are growing away beautifully!

    AFM: had 12 week scan a few weeks back now and all was good no dramas with nuchal trans so that is always a relief. Bub was a bit bigger than dates would suggest but know dates are correct so just big and definatley only one in there. Not much else to report;
    - can't sleep, am so uncomfortable,
    - have been getting INCREDIBLE headaches and wish they would end
    - made my final payment on my beautiful new pram and it should be here Tuesday
    - The "BIG ONE" (ultrasound) is in 24 Days and I CANT WAIT!!!! PInk or Blue, i really dont care i just want to know

Hope everyone is getting some r & r,

ella's mum - Yay on the scan and big yay for the pram. buying the stuff is half the fun! as for the sleeping i now have what DH calls Wiffy's Nest, lol, made out of pillows. i use one against my back for support and got a wedge shaped one from Big Dub for under my belly... it's very supportive. Also recommend sleeping with a pillow between your knees to support your hips. hope you get some sound zzzzs soon.

greenslw - glad you got a good kip in. i think those are increasingly in short supply hope the exwife pulls her head in, somethings are bigger than petty fighting hey! your poor DH, that must be a very diificult situation for him,,, and you. ox

saph - yep i've had sore, swollen girl bits off and on and also went into maternity clothes at 11weeks. apparently everything happens a little earlier if its number 2 (which it isn't for me), so i wouldn't worry too much. i know a lot of girls worry about going off hte progesterone support but I welcomed it... i HATED the stuff so very very very much. It's so nice and nearly surreal to finally be free of drugs the only tablets i take now are vitamins yyaayyyyaaayyyya

smithy - yaya there's a baby there! it's not in your imagination lol. well that's what i thought leading up to my 12 weeks scan "someone probably made a mistake''. Hope you are feeling better soon. i was pretty pleased when we found out we were having a boy as I'd kept dreaming i was having a dog WTF??? lol.

kellyd - you have just inspired me to go get a massage oh and prunes help with the constipation. i had huge issues with constipation and lots of belly aches and found prune juice and prunes worked for me ... but not TOO many

Good luck today BEC let us know how you go at your scan!

Hi to all the other girls here!

afm - still bloody sick and have shared it with DH who is staying home from work today. I can't stay home again today, must go as had 3 days off last week... ugh. But hope my boss will be kind. I think this thing is going to linger for weeks. Anyhoo, i just feel pretty cr*appy and sorry for myself and now don't even have DH to look after me! As you girls will know, man-flu is soooo much worse than any other illness lol. poor darling. best go make him a hot drink and give him cuddles

    stay healthy ladies ox

Morning girls !! Well I am now officially excited - had the first scan today and measuring 6 1/2 weeks. Have a sac, it is in the right spot and a heartbeat at 120 beats per minute!! Due end of March 2010.

Very very excited - however MS is hanging about- I really don't like it especially when you have to face work and no one knows there!

Ellasmum - so nice to see a familiar name from the clomid thread.

Hope everyone is going well - sorry about the short post.

Becc great news hope this is a relief for you and DH.

Grub: for the man flu! they are really painful. Hope your boss is being nice to you or let fly with pg hormones DP seems to let all the ex issues fly by I normally do too must be the pg hormones I guess. Oh well next weekend.

Ella'sMum glad your scan was good you and I must be in the sleep deprived start zone! have you tried the pillow thing, it really helped, although still miss my tummy sleep, tried this morning and was reminded that's not happening for 6 months.

ATM wishing I was out in the nice sun. Work is a drag. But I'm getting heaps done, all staff are out of the office Oh and I went to the gym, trying my new one on one off schedule, lets see if I can do it!

hi girls, just a quick note. I"ve been put on tamiflu. tried to go to work, got sent home cos i obviouslysly shouldn't have been there and as I wasn't getting any better I rang the docs... got right in and saw a differetn gp this time... she put me straight on tamiflu. while it's not 100% i have the dreaded SF, she said the chances were more than 50%.

so we're guessing DH also has it! oops.

so bth of us will probably be stuck at home now all week... which isn't sooo bad.

made a mad dash to the supermarket for food and now i can sleep. and hopefully relax a bit now i have the proper medcation.

a bit mad with the first gp who said it probably wasnt. the doc tody said he should have put me on tamiflu last week bbrrrhhhhh

    anyhoo,
congrats bec on your scan love. super exciting.

take care girls and keep those hands washed etc

    Hi Everyone,

Hope you're all doing well and growing away beautifully!

Grub: You've inspired me and I went out and got hand sanitizer today! Hope you feel better soon!

Becc: Yay that's great news! Not so great about MS but remember it means there are lots of good little hormones running around so I say the more the merrier

Ella'sMum: Great news about the scan! Looking forward to hearing about your pink/blue news!

Saph: Sorry to hear you're having a bad time

Smithy: Love Charlie's pics! After all you've been through, so happy for you hun!

AFM Just had to pop in for a quick share, did my 2nd BT today and my results have gone from 47 to 165! I am stoked (My mc in May dropped from 40 to 13). I am just so relieved. So that's 1 hurdle down, 26 million to go LOL. I also booked in to an OB today, is anyone in Newcastle? If so have you heard of Dr Jillian Spilsbury? Other than that, MS is minimal, just a little nausea when my tummy is empty, and had the whole metallic taste in my mouth thing this morning. Still trying to get my head around it all.

Anyway hope all is great for you, sending out lots of to you all!

    Hey all you lovelies,
I've caught up with all the reading and updates since being back but forgive me for not mentioning you all. Like Grub (I think it was) that said, the thing is to just keep posting. What you lose on the round about, you make up on the swings hey?

It's always important t welcome the new girls, so huge congrats to you and I look forward to meeting you properly in the coming weeks as you go through your exciting new phases of scans and results.

Smithy, it was a toss up between you and Grub for giving me the biggest belly laugh (ha ha), but you gotta admit, Grub with that dog dream was pretty damn cute! So was your line about having a baby and your daggy ultra sound machine.

I tried to write to everyone before I went camping but woah Nelly, can't keep up.

Huge congrats to your early little surprise Farmgirl...we were't expecting Tex's (Darcy's) entrance til midway through this month. Hope you are both doing well and look forward to hearing your story when you are well. Well done and enjoy this amazing time.

I'll come back with little posts rather than make this a really long post. I've had a few changes going on with my body and I can barely sit still for 5 minutes (or resist the urge to pee!). I'm well and truly a member of the upsitters, side sleepers, pillow nesters club. My DH is wonderful offering his own personal body "pillow" and making sure he lies in the right position for me to use his leg as a prop Yay for lovely DH's someone said. Oh by the way Greenslw, you said your DP grinds his teeth too much...often that's a sign of stress. Mine has had a dental plate made up so he doesn't crack his teeth. He has post traumatic stress from Rwanda and 14 years on has nightmares every night! Not cool but what do you do with that kind of horror..where do you begin? Most people's stress comes out in their sleep. Oops too much info and my battery is low.

    Seeya soon. take care.xxoo

Grub so sorry you are sick. With all the kids sick in my class I expected to be out this week with something. But so far so good. My OB said that SF wasnt as bad as everyone is saying just to call if i become unwell and they will give me the antiviral. They aslo said that if I get a confirmed case at school just to take a few days off if ?I can but it is more likely that I would get it from someone at the shop. It was nice to have a small class last week though.

Smithy I get the whole their going to tell me it is all a mistake fear.

AFM I have a very sore tummy muscle. I tripped over Campbell at his sport class today and thinkbbngvrtfcgffddfsxdrghuzxloaZY7[XC (Sorry Campbell was saying hello) I think I pulled a muscle, will keep an eye on it the pain is a little higher than baby so I think it is okay.
