Pregnancy after Long Term TTC - Dec 2007

Hi everyone,

Can I also please join your post? I am almost 7 weeks pregnant after IVF/ICSI and don't know who to talk to. It has been 2 years of trying before we were sent for testing, and finally IVF. This will be our second child, our first concieved naturally with no problems. I have had a few scares, spotting, but my ultrasound the other day showed a heart beat and everything where it should be, so I am over the moon. Just trying to relax over christmas and not do too much at all!!!!

Congratulations on everyone elses pregnancies also. I look forward to keeping in touch with you all and your progress.

Hi Kenziesmum. Big congrats to you. What a great christmas pressie.

I was hoping to log on here and read some great 'sleeping tips' from you all. But no, it sounds like a good night sleep is evading us all I had a good laugh at the 10point turn. That's me too! I have told DH that if i don't get a good night sleep soon - i'm cancelling christmas. My parents arrived last night for 2 weeks and the rest of the family get here tomorrow. At least i have finished work until the 7th - and i will probably drop back to part-time sometime though January once i have caught everything up. I am very lucky - I know!

Marcellus - nice one DH! You're the buggy now! These kiwi blokes need some training don't they. Mine had the b@lls to say he had some lower back pain too the other day. Then he told his grandma we were having a dream pregnancy! (Oh, are WE!)

Sazz - thinking of you, and i hope you take it easy this festive season! Can't wait to hear a BA from your way soon
