    Hi girls
QueenH: Welcome and huge congrats, wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy
Devon: your scans sounds wonderful, oh little boys, highly recommend them !! Although its always a worry when you go to pick them up from school to be told DS keeps putting his hands down his pants (he said its to keep them warm. they really are laugh a minute !!! so glad everything is great ps love your 3d pic!
Miss C: thank you for your words of reassurnance, trust me they are really needed. Sorry about the night mares i did have a few of those with DS, they are so real and it does take awhile to get over them, my midwife said its very normal and just our unconscience mind playing tricks on us, really not nice. I hope your feeling better soon.
    Ellie: yeeeeeeehaaaaaaaa for MS
TL: i wont say dont stress because that would be sooooo hypcritical, but both of my friends who are UTD have had no MS at all. ANd as for the cramping i had it with DS and now also with this pregnancy so much so that at about 10 weeks i rang the ob i was so worried i was mcing, so i think its pretty normal and the funny thing is the days i feel quite normal and have no pulling or cramping i get worried (it never ends)
Shannon: hope you and youre bubblings are doing well, thanks for the words of confidence
Well im feeling a little better, i ended up ringing my ob and getting in next monday so not so long to wait, i feel abit ridiculous needing all this reassurence with DS i had none of this worry, infact i didnt think of any of this stuff i was so relaxed but i guess the circumstances have made this so different. Am going to "beached whale" classes tonite (as approved by the ob) or better known as antenatal water aerobics, so scared to even look at my bathers never mind put them on, but really need to get moving as i think lack of gym is leading to this worrying all the time! Well hugs to you all hope i havent missed anyone. Take care

Scooby, I'm sure your OB doesn't mind at all. It's their job to give us extra reassurance if that's what's needed... and I made full use of it today!

Had a bit of a scare with a small bleed, fortunately I'd taken the day off work anyway as I'm just beyond tired at the moment... long story short, everything's ok and bub was wiggling and happy and heart beating. She couldn't find where the bleed was coming from and cervix is long and closed so all is well. I got a lecture about slowing down and putting myself and bubs first (message received this time, I tell ya!). She did manage to remember that I was supposed to have an early glucose test and is sending me for a two hour GTT now. Not fair! Where's my short test without fasting to start with?!

Good news is, all is well... and I'm sure as hell slowing down now!

MissC, I love your responses to my posts and my blog - you are so insightful! You've been so helpful to me through the last few days/weeks, really appreciate it.

Kinda scared to post much more in case the forum crashes again... will try to come back later.

    Hi All,

QueenH - congratulations again on your BFP. It is wonderful to see you here.

Devon what wonderful news - a Boy! I have 3 nephews and they are just such great fun.

Elie - Glad you feel a bit spewy again! It is reassuring to have that MS.

Miss C - you are very sweet and your words to everyone are so helpful.

Scooby - great that you got your appointment shifted up.

BW - thank goodness that was just a scare. Make sure you are taking it nice and easy. As women we so often put everyone else ahead of ourselves. Now is the time to focus on you and that lovely little one.

TL - Good to hear that you are feeling a bit of MS! As yucky as it is, it really does make you feel pregnant.

AFM - Well today is our first scan and I am so excited! I am feeling confident that bubs is doing well, but cannot wait to have that confirmed and to hear the HB. I also had my first spew today! At work at the moment feeling pretty dicey, but loving every minute of being pregnant.

Hi to anyone that I have missed - hope you are all well.

Well I am pleased to say that we have just seen our little one. We have a single live fetus measuring 6mm (6 weeks 4 days). Will have to get the dates confirmed at our OB appointment. But there was a HB! Hooray!!!!! So little, but I could see the flicker of its heart. That is the most amazing thing ever to see.

So I have OB appointment on Monday the 18th, and the FS has said that I have to stay on my pessaries etc until I am 10 weeks and then I stop completely.

I am feeling physically so bad today, but my heart is singing right now.

    Hope you are all well.

Congrats Janie on your beautiful little bub and its strong heartbeat! It definately makes the feeling sick and crappy all worth it to see that healthy bub! Hope you can breath a little easier now

Devon - Congratulations on your little , glad to hear the scan went well!

Tiggerlinda - Glad to hear the nutritionist went well and she was able to give you some handy hints. Hope the nausea isn't too bad an that time flies til you see your little one/s!

BW - Sorry to hear about the scare and i hope things have eased up and you are feeling better Definately time to put yourself first and use those sick days!

Scooby - How did the water aerobics go? Good luck with the Ob on Monday, and dont stress do what ever you need to get through the pregnancy with your sanity in tact And if that means seeing the OB whenever you need GO FOR IT!

Miss C - Really sorry to hear about the horrible nightmare, i think TL was right and its our subconscious dealing with our worse fears for us, if only it didn't feel so damn real! Hope you are feeling a lot better and that the extra months work doesn't wear you out and you enjy your time

to Ellie , Numa & Queen. Hope you ladies are all doing great and not feeling too

AFM - well everything is going pretty great here, babies are kicking up a storm and Squeak has a trick of kicking with her feet on my bladder and pushing up and headbutting me under the ribs with her head. A little freaky to feel but nice to know she must be going okay if she can do that! DH felt bubble kick the other night and thought it was fantastic he gave him some big kicks so its nice that he can share that now.
Still seeing the antenatal physio for the sciatica but it is getting a lot better and more manageable which is nice. We did lots of work on the nursery on the weekend and now i keep catching DH "just looking" in there, he is like a kid at Christmas and is wishing the next 14 weeks away.

    Have a great weekend ladies

    Hi girls
Just thought id pop in and say "hi" hows everyone going.
TL: not long til your scan is it on wed or thurs? bet you cant wait.
Water aerobics was great and a bit more physcial than i was expecting so i felt like i really got something out of it! The lady who takes the class is also a doula so the whole way through shes giving you preg and birth tips (wish id known of her with DS). Totally losing my mind made myself a coffee with milk and sugar when i take black no sugar coffee gave DH something to laugh at! Also been getting lots more wriggles so feeling much more confident, but have my ob appointment today so that will be good.
Well hi to all and hope everyone is well and keeping warm !!

    Hi Y'all

Hope everyone had a good weekend

In my last post I mistakenly wrote MC when infact it is MS, hope I have not jinx myself?! I shouldn't think the worst I am not feeling as sick as I was last week but am feeling more tied, having an afternoon nap every day.

Janie: great to hear your scan went well, how exciting!

I have a scan coming up in two weeks and get to see the HB and find out how many, 1 or 2. Am a bit nervous about the scan. Wish I could fast forward and know everything will be okay.

TL - I bet you can't wait until Thursday! It is amazing when you see that little HB flickering away. Must say that my little one some what resembles a little worm at the moment! But having that picture to take home is incredible and makes you feel so much more confident. I have my picture beside my bed so I can see it before I sleep and when I wake up. I am so wanting to know if you are having one or two! A girl that works downstairs from me goes to the same clinic as me and she had a FET a few days before me (transferred 2). She has now found out that they are going to be the proud parents of twins... how exciting!

QueenH - same as the above for you (about the scan and about 1 or 2). Don't worry about the spelling mistake - that will not jinx you!

Scooby the water aerobics sounds great... in theory I would love to do something like that... at the moment just feel too sick and tired to contemplate anything more than work!

Molly - thanks so much for popping in and sending your wishes to me ant TL. I really appreciate it!

Shannon - those 2 sound so active! I can't wait to be able to feel mine kicking around, but I guess I've got a long way to go for that yet!

To anyone I have missed I hope you are well.

AFM - I had to go home from work last week after my scan as I was so sick. Had a killer headache and was vomitting. I know that it is best not to take anything for MS, but I have to work full time. So my OB has prescribed me maxilon to use when I am sick. They have reassured me more than once that it has no effect on the baby. However, I have made a deal with myself that I will only use when I am vomitting so that I can function at work. My OB clinic was amazing! I am so pleased that I picked them. When I rang up about how sick I was, the nurse ended up finding a pharmacy near where I live and faxed the script through so that DH could pick up. Also, the next day they called me back to make sure that I was feeling better and to check that I wasn't dehydrated. Very impressed with them. Have my first official OB appointment next Monday. Can't wait to see the baby again and check how much they have grown.

Janie the ms is a good sign, as horrible as it is. I had a hard time agreeing to take medication for ms but the doc said dehydration and vomiting was worse for bub...so like you I'm doing the best I can to only take it when I throw up a few times. Hope you feel better soon...or not...what ever is better for you...the ms is reassuring!

Thanks for the reassurance Ellie - been feeling very guilty about even thinking about taking something.

I agree - the MS is reassuring and if it went away completely I would freak! But sometimes it is just so bad that I can't function. I haven't told work as of yet, and I need to make sure that I can get here and put a reasonable days work in.

    Hi everyone,

Janie I'm sorry to hear that the m/s is knocking you around, but I'm thrilled to hear that your scan showed a perfect little bub developing! Woohoo! Good luck with your OB appointment on Monday, and enjoy seeing the bub again - it's so wonderful when you can see so much more developing so quickly! (we had a scan at 6w1d and again at 7w4d - we noticed such a huge difference!)

QueenH - hope the two weeks goes as quick as possible for you, and that you have a wonderful scan, so exciting to find out if it's one or two!!

TL - been thinking of you lots, and counting down hun. By the time you read this it'll be two sleeps to go! Can't wait to hear how everything goes, and hope you're hanging in there ok.

Shannon - you sound really great, hun Wonderful that DH is being able to enjoy the movement and the excitement of that now. Such a great thing to be able to share now. I'm looking forward to the exact same thing for my DH too! My DH is also like a big kid waiting for Christmas (literally!!) to come - he keeps shopping for baby stuff on ebay, and he waits almost everyday for his parcels lol. Hope the sciatica continues to improve - the physio sounds marvellous! Do you find that the sciatica is worse overnight in bed, or during the day when you're moving about? Thanks for your understanding and words - I appreciate it

BW - I've been reading what's been happening for you, but so so tired at the moment back at work - no energy to respond, so sorry. Please know I've been thinking of you lots, and I'm so glad to hear nothing more about any further bleeding. Not a nice scare Hope you're feeling better, and recovering from the shock of it.

Scooby - Hope OB appointment yesterday went well! Glad that water aerobics felt so good. Similarly, I found antenatal yoga brilliant first time (it starts again in September) and I can't wait for it again. Like you, our instructor gives tips for labour etc. - so good. Hope that baby brain with the coffee sorts itself out and that those kicks and wiggles keep making you feel good

Hi to Ellie, Devon and anyone else I may have missed. Hope you're all doing well

AFM - we had our 20 week scan today. CB was lying transverse, which was a nightmare for the sonagrapher Took 1hr 20mins to get all the measurements and checks done, including me getting up for 10 mins for wiggles and jumps and walks around to try to get the baby to move into a better position. Found out that my placenta is lying anterior, which I don't think helped with the scan. Upshot of that is that we got to see CB wiggle and shake for over an hour, despite the discomfort of the ultrasound wand being dug into my stomach! We've got an acrobat, who insists on keeping its feet up around its ears! All was well - measuring exactly to date, and no abnormalities on the scan. Woot! OB appointment this Thursday, and seeing the midwifes next week. Now back to the waiting game again, but we have some wonderful reassurance and lovely scan pictures to soothe in the meantime.
