Mako - I had a wonderful baby shower, I had never actually been to one & didn't even think of having one until a friend offered to throw me one & it was fantastic but very exhausting as well.
To see everyone so happy for me & the beautiful gifts, it was lovely.

I bet you can't wait to see your dr on Wednesday, it must have been quite nerve racking to think about going to hospital.
I guess it gave you a hurry on to pack your bags, lol.
I'm so glad you are close in weeks to me because it really is reassuring to know that things your experiencing are in fact normal.

I have my appointment with dr on Friday so I am looking forward to that as well, it will be weekly visits from now on.

Jo I'm glad you had a lovely day yesterday. It really is nice knowing that so many people are so happy that you're having a baby.
I know what you mean about having someone so close to having a baby too. Very reassuring that all is ok with signs and symptoms etc.

I sure did get my finger out real quick and packed my bags lol. Talk about a kick in the butt to get organised
I too am on weekly appointments as of Wednesday this week. I have my scan on Monday afternoon too so I should know a little more about whats going on.

I went to pick up some more of Bub's things on laybye this morning and had an absolute shocker at the shop. Not happy I have to say. I've had nothing but trouble at this particular place since I shopped there. I wanted to pick up the 6 piece cot set that I laybyed back in April (they have 6 month laybyes). Anyway I went in and payed for the set with cash. When the assistant walked out with the set she said to me "Did anyone inform you that this is floor stock as this has been discontinued?" I said "No" She told me it was the last one and that was it. I asked for my money back and was told that they don't give refunds under any circumsatances. I was so annoyed at this response as they didn't offfer any discount or anything. All they said was they could put the credit onto another laybye I had there and that was that. So needless to say by now I'm very cranky. I got her to take it off the porta cot, bassinette and a couple of other small things. So I brought these things home and had to go to another baby shop to laybye the cot set as I didn't want to miss out on it as I have everything else to match like a lamp, floor rug, wall hangings, mobile etc.
I just can't believe that these shops do this to people. They are very happy to take your money from you and then won't give it back when they really should.
Sorry for my whinge I just needed to get this off my chest

Hi Girls,

Well after more than 3 yrs two failed iui"s one failed stim and one failed fet we are finally up the DUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went for my bloods this morning and they are through the roof 1345!! I am only 4w2d so I know I have a long way to go but golly IT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED!!!!

I POAS yesterday morning which I know is naughty when on a Stim cycle but when that second line came up straight away I knew!!!! I was on the loo and balling my eyes out. I woke my husband up at 630am to show him!

So another couple of weeks and i will be going for my scan they booked me in at 6w2d is that normal? We had two embryos transfer will they know if it is twins that early?


I NEED TO PINCH MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
