    Hello

    Hi lovely ladies,
Thanks so much for the words of welcome.

Leabie - yay! So good to see you in here -- I knew you were a bit ahead of me and I was wondering what had happened with you! Your levels sound great.

Brunette - that must be so tough having to be on bed rest so early. How was your big excursion to the shopping center? I hope you enjoyed your little jailbreak - lol. Freedom!

Lise - what a shock that must have been finding out that the your baby's sex was a boy after being told that it was a girl. I think it's perfectly understandable that you would need some time to absorb that information. Good idea doing some shopping -- what a great way to be able to get excited about having a little boy.

LondonMiss - first, my clinic says my EDD is 21 Jan 2011, which I don't quite get b/c all the online due date calculators list it as 18 Jan. However, I guess I'll go with what my clinic says! Second, thanks so much for your tips re: pregnancy books. Funny hearing your comments about the What to Expect When You're Expecting book: I think the reason I instinctively thought of that book first is b/c I'm American, and that's the book that all the American girls get (at least all my friends) when they find out they're preggers. I totally understand your criticisms about it; a lot of people I know read it for the info, but complain about how they had to stop reading it b/c it was so focused on all the negatives that can happen that it was freaking them out. My only concern is that I'm a bit of a high risk pregnancy because I have high blood pressure, which apparently raises all sorts of issues such as increased pre-eclampsia risk, etc (as well as being the dreaded "advanced maternal age", which is supposedly a risk factor in and of itself), so I'm wondering if I'm better off educating myself as to everything that I should be looking out for, as horrible as it is to be thinking that way. Anyway, I'm going to take your great suggestion to sit down at the bookstore and look at a whole bunch of books. I actually was going to copy what Brunette did and go to the library first. Unfortunately I missed my chance to hit the library this morning before it shut and don't want to wait till Monday, so I'm just going to go to the bookstore this afternoon. Third, thanks for the tip re: pre-natal yoga. I'm definitely interested in trying that. Just need to find a place near where I live on the Goldy.

Otherwise, I was just interested to see that I seem to be feeling stronger PG symptoms today. It was the first morning I woke up w/sore books, and I got a little queasy when I was coming back from my morning walk. Now the queasiness has settled but I seem to be salivating more, as I've read others have experienced as well. So I guess that's all a good sign that things are continuing well. By the way, the nurse told me yesterday that my progesterone level was 340, based on which my FS was dropping me from 2 Crinone a day to 1 a day, until my next BT this Thursday. Since I was playing phone tag with the nurse and she eventually told me all this over the voicemail, I have no idea how good a level 340 is, or what it is supposed to be right now. (Otherwise, I would have asked her.) Any thoughts on what PG levels should be looking like for what I presume to be a singleton pregnancy?

Hi to everyone I've missed -- I'm still getting up to speed with who's who so I'll try to have more persies next time.

    Have a great weekend, everyone!

PS. S'rose: I'm so excited for your trip to the States. I'm from New York City so am stoked to hear how much you want to visit there. PM me if you'd like any tips on what to do when you're there! When's your EDD, by the way?
