Chooky, I was told 30 mins. And the nurse also said to do it rectally for the midday one if lying down was difficult (vaginally is better for absorption, but sitll ok).
Can you just do the last one of the day at bedtime, when you're lying down anyway?
Hi chooky and everyone,
Have come back on (after a long while away) as DH and I are going for #2 with our only frozen blasty...just waiting for AF to start so i can ring WFC to get the whole cycle underway. So desperately wanting for it to work but all the stat's seem to go against us given only the 1 blasty. Our DD is 2 yr 1 month and so ready to be a big sister and the thought that she mightn't ever have that experience is already heartbreaking (and i am trying to be positive!! lol)
I'm interested to hear how it all works, ours is going to be a natural FET cycle, with pessaries but i really have no idea of time frames and things, just want a safe thaw and BFP 2 weeks later...
Sorry, I should have posted an update earlier. We started the rollercoaster before we even got to the treatment! DH did change his mind temporarily, but we're back on track now. We delayed things by a month, so I'm up to day 4 of meds today.
So massively entirely nervous about everything; if it will work, how i'll deal if it doesn't, how i will deal if it does!
Thanks Marcellus.
Chooky, does that mean day 4 of a programmed FET cycle?? Or, are you in the lead up to the thaw and implant?? Either way you must have every emotion going through you right now.
I really feel in the dark about what will happen but hopefully in 2 weeks AF will start and i can hopefully get told a heck of a lot more about what is going to happen day by day in the count down to thaw & implant. A girlfriend said its blood tests daily till ovulation then a short wait with pessaries followed by implant then more pessaries. I wish they would have a simple day to day planner for me! I am such a control freak and just want to know now. Desperately fast forwarding the time. Never thought i'd actually be willing AF to start! lol!
