BIg hellos to the many I have missed especially those in the very early days. I know only to well how horribly nervewracking those first 12 weeks are

To elaborate for whoever asked ( sorry can't remember). I did actually insist on a repeat scan last week. OB wasn't keen ( just doesn't seem to like scans much!) but obviously had to agree. So had that with a different Sonologist on Friday.Turned out that scan measured "upsy" much more "normal" and symmetrical. Slightly small but bertter than 9 days previously. NO explanation really for the quite marked difference . Was different Drs doing each scan but the previous Dr we know VERY well from this pg and DS's and I trust he would have measured accurately. I had the w/e thinking we were off the hook for the early delivery. HOwever, speaking to OB yesterday, he said his decision wasn't based solely on scan results. Also takes into account my m/c hx and particularly having lost a twin in this pg plus all the subsequent complications. Just have to trust his experience on all this that he still has concerns about risking letting her go to term and possibly the placenta failing etc.
I am not 100% convinced that she "needs" to come out so soon but OB had initially said 35weeks and has now relented to 36.5 wks if all ok which I am bit happier about. HOnestly, this pg has just been so stressful and draining, I am to physcially and mentally tired to put up any more fight. Its not in my nature to just accept the word of Dr's when I am not 100% about the decisions but I think I am ready to just try and trust him on this one and let mself be at peace. I do think he is an excellent OB and as I said, usually on almost to easy going side.
