AFM I now have the scan booked for the morning of my birthday and am silently bricking it.

With DD, I had a MASSIVE bleed the day before my birthday and thought it was all over. Had a scan scheduled 2 days later and it almost didn't happen cos I told the midwife that I had m/c-ed and she told me there was no point in a scan and to just go down to A&E. But thanks to DH, I had the scan and there was my DD bouncing away, so it was a happy ending. Am really really hoping for a heartbeat. But I've also had a pg where there was a heartbeat at 6wks, then 8wks, then none at 10wks, so I know it doesn't mean I can completely relax if it goes well.

I don't know why I am so much more relaxed about it all, but then still scared ****less inside.

PS DD is actually 1 year and 4 months, not sure how to fix my ticker...
