    Hi Belfie
    How is lounge land???
I think we worry because we know what it is like to loose a baby. We don't want to risk this one so we jump at every scare. It is so hard to just sit back and let the world go on by. You just see more things you want done "your way" (not the way DH does it).

You mentioned DVD's. I have one that I think is a good positive up lifting/funny movie -Connie and Carla.

    Take care
    Chris

Yes, I well know the scan after glo. I think little goals are a good one to go with and before you know it the pregnancy will be term and we did it from the couch?????Lets hope not!!!! Strangely enough when you get your head around it it's not toooooo bad. I am thinking about hiring/buying a doppler moniter, just for peace of mind before the movements are obvious.

If I eva need a truely big uplifting moment ... yeh, somfin 2 sort of take my mind off things ... get hold of a movie called The Out of Towners, ... It's gotta b the paramount 1970 version (not the newer version).

...It's about a bloke who has a string of the disastrous & insane & unlucky things happen to him all in the course of just one day of his life. It takes your mind of your troubles for a little while cause it's so stupidly FUNNY

    hey ladies,

thanks for the lovely messages! Lounge-land is cruisey. I think i'm getting used to it now, which means I'll probably get to leave it just as I am used to it haha!

blackduckies, I had to laugh at your doppler monitor buying suggestion - I love it. I think I heard that Tom Cruise bought an U/S machine? I suggested it to DH and he didn't look impressed!

Chris - I haven't seen Connie & Carla - I'll have to go get it! And I'm so impressed - your sig is beoooootiful!

smiles4u - I haven't seen Out of Towners (the original) either, so my DVD store is going to get some serious work!

The only other one I thought of is actually Oceans 13 - we actually watched that the day we found out we'd m/ced last year. You get home, you cry (have a cup of tea, fetta cheese, sushi, alcohol etc...) then you kinda run out of things to do. I remember it was the perfect movie because it wasn't emotional, it was just flash guys in their flash suits and it distracted us for a while. Um so not very cheerful, but the right thing for the time nonetheless. I also just watched Hairspray which was fun.

And while I'm yabbing - I'm having a good week - m/s is manageable and I'm still floating around on my cloud of happy calmness. The occasional hormonal crazy moment still strikes, but hasn't been about the PG which is nice - mostly about food hahah! Ooh and I have a big one... I wore black undies!!!! How brave is that (ok so maybe it's partly cos DH hadn't done the washing yet...) but seriously, I was proud of myself out of all proportion!

Hope you're all going very well.

    Cheers,
    Belfie

    Hi Belfie
    Thanks!!
Can I have some of what your on??????
The m/s :ms: is with me all the time.
I have been at the anti natal clinic today for my first midwife appt. I was in with the midwife for nearly 3 hrs. I have to go back next week to see the Dr who will be careing for me.
I have had the midwife running around/ making calls for me to make sure I get the best of care. I feel so humbled at the moment (not used to the attention).

She wanted me to be with the high risk midwife team (because of health problems and Asherman's) but I wanted to go a diferent way and I can do it my way. So I am very happy.
Hope every one is going great.
    Take care
    Chris
