Hi Firtst Timer - I have IBS, so know exactly what you are going through. By the end of the day, I can bloat something terrible. In my first trimester, the pain was so bad I was often in tears and found that charcoal tablets recommended by GP and Buscopan by OB helped. Second trimester it has settled down a bit, but saying that, I have been a bit stressed and run down the last couple of days, and it is back with a vengence. Try 'Beneful' it is a no-taste fibre supplement that can be put in anything from a cup of tea to sprinkled on cereal if you don;t want to take Metamucil. Other than that, stay away from carbonated drinks, especially at night!
