I had those cramps when I was pregnant with DS. Tried magnesium tablets and they disappeared just about overnight, never to occur again! So it definitely works for some people. The other thing - if you haven't worked this out already - is NEVER flex your feet forward (pointing your toes). This is just about guaranteed to cause cramps if you do it while pregnant. You can do all the stretching you want, but not that one. Good luck!
