did i wet myself or is this my waters?

    Hi ladies

I know this is my 2nd preg but I still am not sure
Last night I went to toilet, did what I had to and then left. A few minutes later I wet myself...... maybe.
This morning I had a mucasy discharge with blood stains also....... could this be a bit of a show?

With Jordan I broke my waters and then contractions started couple minutes later. This time I am not sure whats happening as nothing has started in that deptartment.

Liam is still active so I am not too worried. I have hospital app tomorrow at 12.30 so will ask midwife what she thinks but wanted some advice....

    thanks

It sounds like it could be your waters and blody mucus sounds like a bit of your plug might be coming away - how exciting!! Good luck!!

What does it smell like? Waters breaking is sweet smelling, and you keep losing fluid. Put on a pad and see. Good luck

Sounds promising dont leave it more then 24 to 48 hour from when your waters broke cause of the risks of infection.
How did your waters brake with Jordan??

It sounds like your waters to me. When my waters broke with my daughter it was a few hours after that i lost the plug which was as you described a mucasy and some blood. I think i would be getting it checked out. Hope all goes well.

    Hi Deancey
The blood stained mucus sounds like your show. This does not mean that you are going to give birth in the next few days but it does mean that our body is getting ready for birth.
If you are still leaking then it is probably your waters. Put a pad on a couple of hours before you go to see your midwife tomorrow. They will be able to test any fluid on the pad to see if it is your waters.

don't be disappointed. A long pre-labour is great because it gets everything ready for the real thing.
Often women who are in pre-labour for ages have the best births.

I went into pre labour heaps with jett. I had the best labour with him too!
    Goodluck with the upcoming birth.

Deancey honey, I know exactly what you're going through. I've been going through this pre-labour for 2 weeks now. So sick of the phone calls 'is it happening yet' or every time I ring someone, they think something is happening. It will happen soon, just give it time.
