Jas - I have always been told to avoid castor oil becasue it dehydrates and gives you the runs!!! I wouldn't bother hun. You've got heaps of excellent pre labour signs already..Go the EPO on the cervix if anything. Sorry to be blunt but I don't want you to be sick going into labour

Yes avoid the castor oil. I used EPO and it worked well but your cervix is already almost half way there. When you go into labour I would get to the hospital quickly because you might have a really quick active labour with all this pre-labour that you have had.
    One day closer! YAY!

    Hi Ladies,

yea it is partially the diahhorrea that gets it to work. The obs said basically i need some cx or the head to get down lower to get more on my cervix, because even though good to go it is still pretty high and sometimes if u r a big constipated the head can't get down so the clear out helps. I had had some diahhorrea on the days around easter sunday but since then have gotten slightly constipated sorry for tmi. Not bad or anything but I am usually vey very regular so I think perhaps it may help. It meantion this in the natural induction article on here that it can work if this is the case.

Its been 3hrs since I took the 30mls and have just gone to the bathroom and it wasn't diahhorrea what I passed a bit softer but I'm thinking maybe those signs suggest that it may actually help. I'll be very careful with drinking extra water etc

It is all looking very good for you to go into labour in the next day or two. You definatly won't be pregnant on the weekend! You will be a Mum of 2!.

    Sooo so sooo exciting!

Good Luck Jas! Just in case labour creeps up when I'm not looking .

Jas - I always thought a quick labour was good until I had one!!! DD2 came so quickly that I didn't remember much. I think a quicker labour that you can control to a point is the best iykwim.
