I wore a hospital gown as I had nothing else to wear. As I was induced it was great when I wanted to get in the shower (I never made it ) The gown had ties along the arms so I could take my bra off without stripping off. I found the gown to be comfortable and covering

I also wore a hospital gown... I just didnt tie the bottom part up... I had to have my water broken so was reticted to the bed. Was great after just untie and slip off and into the shower,....

Think its a personal decision... Depends on what you feel comfortable in... I felt that it was easier to use a hossy gown that i could just take off and they get cleaned...

This time i will also be using a gown...

I wore my clothes - tracky pants and a singlet until I hopped into the shower, and then I stayed nude

I wore what i had on which was a strechy skirt and a singlet top. I still had the top on after Coco arrived, but think I may have also had a hospital gown. I actually don't remember, maybe I had nothing below. I may have had the gown after she was born. Anyway, I guess it doesn't matter, wear what's comfortable (pj's if at night, I did that with No.1.) and they will tell you what to do once there. xo

I went to hospital in a loose tracksuit, then changed to hospital gown pretty quickly as I was really hot. I didn't want to wear my own stuff as I didn't want anything to get messy. I think I ended up taking off the gown too towards the end... then when it was all over and I had ds on my chest my dh draped a clean hossy gown over my lower bits till I was ready to go have a shower and put my pjs on.

I wore a "nanna style" nightie with DD which was loose and comfy - only threw it out recently and found it very hard to do so. With DS I wore a maternity singlet top with a shelf bra - I have very big boobs and dont like the feel of them just "flopping" around IYKWIM? Both items were perfect for each of my births.
