Hello hello hello lovely ladies!!!
Wow... it's very exciting in here with the possibility of new little bundles in the air!!!
Okay, update on us.
Mastitis has cleared up, THANK GOD!!! I hope I never get that again. Thank you to all of you for your lovely well wishes.
DH and I spent the night on the floor for Caeleb's first night in his room. He spent his first night "alone" last night... which lasted till 12:30am, when Caeleb had a nappy malfunction and HAD to spend the night with us... LOL
I'm getting married!!! AGAIN!!! Actually, I'm already married. It's our 10th wedding anniversay this year. So, we're renewing our wedding vows, with (please pause for a cute awwww moment....) Caeleb as the best man! DH said that Caeleb is his best mate, so it's only natural that he'll be the best man. He'll be walking by then... how cute, standing up front next to his Dad in a little suit!!! I can wait!!! Just the three of us on a very special day! :D
Okay, must go... can't wait to see some :bfp: flashing away in here!!!
Celsie. xoxox

Oh Celsie!! That sounds so amazingly adorable!!!! Our 10th is next year and we were thinking of doing the same thing with two precious flower girls!! :heartbeat: Can't wait to see the pics!! And how precious of your DH to feel that way, what a super amazing spesh daddy he is!!
Am so happy for you that your mastitis cleared up too!! What a relief! And oh the nappy malfunctions!!! I went out today and bought toddler sized nappies as DD#2 seems to do her poo during her nap time before her 3pm feed.....then she rolls, tumbles, lifts her bot in the air, rolls then pulls her feet up to her mouth.........effectively a "human toothpaste tube" as she pushes the poo out every escape hatch............all through the cot................YUKKO!!!! We've had to spray and wipe the cot sides a couple of times and have had emergency baths saving a packet and a half of wipes!!!!
Was awake between 4 & 5am this morning contemplating what may or may not be........;) nothing yet but was thinking that AF was really only a suburb away as I started to feel a bit crampy for a couple of minutes............well, still nothing...............haven't said anything to DH.......................
.............then bumped into a friend at the shops today and she was out and about with her 2, the youngest not yet 3 weeks old and I felt that old clucking chook arise from with in................
........oi-yoi-yoi!!!!
Lunch time, DD#1 will eat her sister if I don't hurry up!! :cryinglaugh: BBL beautifuls!!!
Mwa!!

Hi ladies,
Ashlyn had her needles last thursday and she had a cry for the initial jab but then was fine, even having a chat to the ladies in the waiting room as i signed the medicare thingy lol
I noticed the sizes of some of your bubbas and i dont know if i need to be worried because when they weighed her at around 5months she weighed 6.5kg and then again at her 6 month she weighed 6.7kg so thats a grand total of 2oogm in a month, she is drinking 4 or 5 200ml bottles and has 3 small meals per day like she will have Farex banana custard for breakfast which is approx 2-3 tblspns then either a baby yoghurt or vegies for lunch same amount then vegies for dinner!! so she isnt undereating thats for sure lol maybe she will end up being one of those girls who eats and eats and never puts on weight...something she didnt get from her mum thats for sure lol.
Good luck to those who are TTC, no offence to any of you who are but i couldnt even imagine what id be like if i fell pg again!! I seriously think i would lose my mind..i swear my baby brain hasnt worn off from the pregnancy yet LOL.
I have decided to stop at 2 i was lucky enough to have a beautiful boy and girl so im happy, the way i see it is i want to have the same amount of children as i do hands because that way i can always have hold of them, if i had 3 or 4 children there would always be one missing,i grw up being the second youngest of 6 so i have been turned off a big family LOL
And i can defiantely agree on being jealous of DH he can just go and do stuff go to the pub or club and not come home because im here looking after the kids, i am lucky to be able to do something without planning it for a week in advance.
I am getting married 18th July 2009 and i will have Rylan as a page boy and Ashlyn as flower girl so i can relate to how exciting it is thinking how cute they will be.
hope you all ahve great days and nights
bye

Hi, just a quickie here!
Rylansmum - Angus is also not a big boy, I think he'll be lucky to hit 7 kg when I take him for his 6 month check this week (he'll be 6 and a bit months). He's exclusively BF too, not sure if that's got anything to do with anything!!!
Charlie - apparently the briefcase tasted excellent........oh dear!! I think I'll have to start on the solids, he is now (for the first time) watching with great interest when we eat and is very keen to get hold of plates, bowls, spoons etc.
And yeah- what's the go with the nappy malfunctions? When he has them in the middle of the night it means we all have to wake up and sort out the situation, very annoying for all of us! Angus has also taken to waking early, about 4.30, frustrating for my husband as he can't then get back to sleep. Yeah, frustrating for us all!
Well, am off to try to fit in some housework, it is now very hard to do things in our non-baby proof house as Angus is the speediest commando crawler I have ever seen, can't leave the room for 30 seconds. very difficult to fit in chores when he sleeps for only about 1.5 hrs in the day - and my husband tells me that should be my time to relax!
-
PMSL Charly!!! - Human toothpaste tube!!! :cryinglaugh:
Oh also, may say... cluck cluck cluck!!!
Congratulations Rylansmum for your upcoming wedding!!! :confetti:
Just touching on the BF babies who are lower in weight... I spoke to my doctor about this. He said that BF babies have more bone density and FF babies tend to bulk on more weight. So, it's perfectly normal and healthy. :)
Celsie. xoxox
-
Well, not looking good.......I think that's where I am at?? ......... Feeling crampy, crappy and snappy....................the perfect AF recipe  ..........oh and spoke to DH.......lol!! He's like, oh you're so not but if you were, we'll fall over first  then just embrace our new journey. Damn he's great!! :heartbeat:
Rylansmum - oh a wedding!! How so exciting!!!!!!! Have so much fun planning with your precious family!! :confetti:
-
Gee, guess who just dropped in................... AF just forgot to inform me that she was on Christmas break...............took a little longer to recover than expected.........
Funnily enough, I laughed and (maybe tmi?) said out loud, "and there she is!" :cryinglaugh:
Now am going to eat chocolate!! And yes, slightly disappointed but feeling, "never mind" also..................phew. Can do without this experience again for a while! :p
-
Awww, Charly. Congrats, but commiserations too! Que Sera Sera as they say.
Mel - How did daycare go?
Celsie - Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Can't wait to see the best man in his suit! And Rylan's Mum too, how exciting for you both.
I went to work today. DH's Mum had Lewis from 11-4.30pm. I spent the whole day feeling guilty and depressed and burst into tears when I got home. Luckily MIL had gone by then. I just feel that either me or DH should look after him, we wanted to have him so we should be there for him until he is a bit older. Not that he cares mind you, he has a great time! I know it's not possible and probably good for Lewis to be with others anyway, but I just can't get used to it. DH gets his timetable tomorrow so hopefully he will have a few days off in the week to be home with him and my worried will be over.
Oh well, that's life hey.......
-
Sorry to hear AF arrived Charly. Oh well, there's always next month! LOL ;)
Sarah - is it possible for you to live on one wage? I know it's tight, geez how well I know that, but if you're feeling so bad, maybe it's worth trying to stretch the budget just that little bit further.
Okay, I'm tired...
Celsie. xoxox
-
Hi Girls,
Well I feel much better about things now. It seems DH will be able to stay at home for 2 full days while I'm working and then MIL will just have him for 3 hours on my half day. So that is much more bearable. I love the fact that DH and him will be together for 2 days and I won't be worried sick either.
We couldn't really manage without me doing a couple of days work, DH wage covers the mortgage and most of the bills but mine covers the food bill plus the extras that always come up unexpectedly. Plus we are in a unit and would love to buy a house with a garden for Lewis to play in. So we need to think about saving for that too.
Lewis two top teeth are just cutting through. He hasn't been grumpy at all this time, he's been really laughing the last few days. I was wrapping a present yesterday and was pulling the scissors along the curling ribbon and he just cracked up. He found it to be the funniest thing he had ever seen!
He does have really angry red cheeks though bless him. He's still waking up at 4.30am nowadays instead of 5.30am. Not sure what's going on there!
Anyway hope everyone is well.

Hi everyone
I finally found this thread, after somehow becoming unsubscribed. :wall:
Hope you're all doing well (I haven't had time to read all the posts yet).
Hopefully I will get a chance to get on and do some personals in the near future. :)

Hi everyone
Sarah - its great to hear that your DH can stay with Lewis while you work. If and when I go back to work, we will also arrange it that DH looks after Diana while I'm at work.
Charly - I haven't been keeping up with the thread - are you actively TTC? Good luck. You're braver than me - I'm not sure if I could do the whole baby thing again. One is quite enough for me at the moment (but we'll see what happens).
Rylan's mum - Diana was weighed and measured this week. At 6 1/2 months she is 69cm long and weighs 7kg. So she's similar in size to Ashlyn I think. The dr was pleased with Diana's progress, so I'm sure Ashlyn is okay too. :)
Hi to everyone else.

Hi ladies
Off the the Hunter Valley for 3 days on Sunday so thought I'd pop in now while I've got a few minutes to write.
Firstly I'd like to say that next time round I will savour the time when my baby is still a baby and can be put down and left without any worry!! Mikayla has taken to climbing up onto her bouncer from the front end and can now pull her entire body onto it! This morning DH put her in the bouncer and tightened the straps (because she tries to grab onto the side and get out). I wallked in a few minutes later and she had somehow pulled herself up out of the staps and was hanging head first over the back of the bouncer. DH and I were both getting ready so DH thought our only option was to put her in her cot. Good idea you say??? Well I happened to walk by her room and found her on her knees chewing on the top rail with a big smerk on her face. Yes very cute I know!! So I layed her down again and went on getting ready. I thought she was a bit quiet a few minutes later so went to check only to find her now standing up, holding onto the rail bouncing up and down like she'd discovered a whole new world!!! Looking back on it now it was very cute but the thought of having to watch her 24-7 without a break is just consuming me. My little monkey is turning into my little Houdini :D
Charly sorry to hear AF showed up but of course its a blessing if you weren't quite ready :P
Still no sign of AF for me but I got out a HPT this morning and it was negative so it looks like my body is up to its old tricks again. So its back to the docs in Feb to start treatment all over again!
Hope your all well and I'll try to check in again before we leave otherwise will catch up when we get back next week.
Take care xx

hi everyone!
Well we are back from holidays - the road trip was successful!
Ashley enjoyed her 1st xmas with all the extended family!!!
She got 2 teeth through on xmas night and has started saying 'bubba' and 'mama' .... no association to the words yet... but still cool to hear it!
As for my dramas with cramps etc etc, i had a BPN on hpt and no AF so i am assuming that my body is going crazy hormonal!
Ashley is weened now to 3 bottles and 1 BF in the mornings - wondering when you stop BF all together how long is it usually until AF returns?
HOpe all had a lovely xmas!
hugs
-
Quick hi - yeah right!! LOL!! Whilst DH is bathing DD#1 and DD#2 is in bed, supposedly sleeping but those squeals coming from her room do not indicate sleep at all!! I thought I'd take the minutes I have to jump on, power read and then type my little fingers off!! LOL!!
Starfish - no, not actively TTC as my head space is that 2 are quite enough atm!! Of course, if we were pg then we'd just accept and embrace but I must admit, the cramps were a welcomed thing ;) Spoke to my brother last night and he is getting the snip this year (they have 2). I told DH and he suggested he did the same to which I replied, no way buddy!! LOL!! Not until I'm sure.......so he goes on this tongue in cheek spiel about how I'm assuming I have the power to decide whether we have babies or not to which I laughed and retorted, "hang on a tick!! If you get the snip, you've made it final but me telling you your not just yet is actually sitting on the fence but keeping the door open!" (We laughed as we knew I won that round!! :cryinglaugh: At this stage, if we were to have any more, I think DD#2 will be at least 4 and COMPLETELY toilet trained......learning my lesson the hard way as DD#1 is dragging her feet on that one!!
Oh too cute!! DD#1 has just bolted from her bedroom saying, "Look mum!! I'm neck-ed (naked)!!" Hehehe!!
MumofLewis - that's so great that DH was able to stay with your little one, a real weight off your mind! That's so fantastic!!! And so cute on the curling ribbon incident.......seeing the world through a little one's eyes is a real revelation some times! Also so good that he cut his teeth without too much bother, that must be a relief. Could that be the reason for waking up an hour earlier too?
Teepee2 - I know what you mean about savouring our bubs when they are babies!! Wow!! Your munchkin is flying!! That's full on! She sounds like a real cute cheeky fire cracker!! :p Oh too precious!!
Princessmya - not sure about how long after stopping bf that AF turns up as DD was exclusively bf and AF came back from long service leave at 4 months! What a clever little one to be nattering away already.....have you got it on video???? DD has only said, "Dad" a couple of times but will babble to her hearts content! Although today I took some hilarious video of both DD's squealing at each other - they were taking it in turns!!!!! And matching each other's volume!!! LOL!!
Ah woooooooooo hoooooooooo!!! DD#1 just did her first dribble wee in the potty!!! :confetti: Ok! Going to go and celebrate with her stickers and ringing nanna!!
BBL!
Mwa!!
-
Hi,
Teepee - Wow Mikayla is on the move! Have you moved her mattress down yet? I'm dreading that, my back already hurts hauling him out of the cot every morning! I wanted to ask you seeing as she was a quick crawler, once they can get their bum in the air and start rocking on their hands and knees, how long is it until they crawl? Days, weeks, months? Just wondering how long I've got...
Charly - Wow we think we have it bad and then you are potty training too! Now imagine all that and having morning sickness to deal with??
BTW I spoke too soon about Lewis being okay with his new teeth. Poor thing has been in tears today, and just desperate to bite on anything in reach, he even burst one of his teethers bless him.
Princess mya - I think AF is supposed to return about 8-10 weeks after stopping BF. I only expressed, but mine returned about 8 weeks after I stopped. Longer, heavier and more painful I might add
Starfish - How did you job interview go by the way? It's a scary prospect isn't it returnng to work. Great that your DH can also have Diana.
Not sure if I mentioned but I do mobile spray tanning in the evenings, and I just got the job spray tanning the Gladiators for the new show on Channel 7! Made a nice change to spray some muscles!! I don't normally do men but how could I refuse those lot  Mind you it was more work than usual because they all wanted to be sooo brown. Plus of course all the extra muscles I had to spray over!
-
OMG!! What a gig MumofLewis!!!  Congratulations!! That's fantastic!!
And yes, morning sickness on top of all of that.............I'd need the potty as much as DD#1 in the end!! :cryinglaugh:
Thinking of your little man, poor love! Hugs to him!!

Hi everyone
I am feeling rather proud of myself this week, as I am actually managing to get some housework done. I had been really slack ever since Diana was born (even before that actually) and only doing the bare minimum, so this week I finally decided that enough was enough and that the apartment needed a really good clean and tidy. So I am taking it slowly and doing one area at a time. The best thing is that Diana is now old enough that I can put her in the sling and do the work while I carry her. Its exhausting (which is why I am limiting myself to one big job/area a day), but kind of fun and rewarding. I like telling Diana what I'm doing as I do it. (Now what's the bet that now that I've written about it, I'm going to lose my motivation and not get anything done tomorrow?)
Tina - wow, you must have your hands full with Mikayla being so active. Diana is not quite standing or crawling yet, but she is certainly trying. Today she fell off the couch as she rolled/crawled to the edge while DH and I had our backs turned. :( DH is still angry at himself for letting it happen, but I am actually grateful that it wasn't anything more serious. Going to have to keep a way closer eye on her now.
Sarah - my job interview went well, but unfortunately the position was filled internally. :wall: I have another interview on Monday for a much better sounding job though, so maybe it was meant to be that I didn't get the other one. Fingers crossed I get the job I'm being interview for this Monday (and that if I do I can work the hours I want, etc).
Princessmya - not sure when AF is supposed to return, but I think it varies wildly depending on the individual (I know that's not very helpful). Yay for Ashley getting her two front teeth for Christmas! And how cute that she's talking. Diana has said "mummy", "dad", "hello","hi" and "baby", but no association either, she just makes the sounds at this stage. How cool will it be when they do make the association? Looking forward to that.
-
Hi everyone
Sarah Mikayla has been rocking on her hands and knees for months now but she still doesnt crawl properly. She gets around really quickly but its more of a caterpillar crawl. She gets on her hands and knees and pulls her legs foward but instead of moving her hands at the same time she drops back down to the floor and pulls her body along. I really dont think she'll ever do a proper crawl.
I've dropped her off at my mums today for a little break. She's turning into a little nightmare. Now that she's worked out that she can stand she's trying to pull herself up onto everything. This morning she grabbed onto our TV cabinet, pulled herself up and was playing with the volume on the TV and she's also now trying to stand at the coffee table. I really wont be able to leave her alone for a second!!!
Zofia dont feel too guilty about Diana falling. I know you must feel guilty and I dont leave Mikayla on the lounge any more for that exact reason but they're going to get sooo many bumps and bruises over the next couple of years especially when they start walking!!
Princessmya congrats on hearing those precious words!! I've been trying to get Mikayla to say "dada" but no luck yet.
-
Tina - your ticker is super cute!!! :D
Celsie. xoxox
-
Thanks Celsie.
We got her a cabbage patch doll for Christmas and she's forever trying to steal the plastic dummy from its mouth LOL
-
I've just posted photos in my photo gallery of Mikayla standing in her cot if anyones interested in having a look
-
Oh my goodness Teepee!! How clever is your little girl?!?! Not to mention absolutely gorgeous!!! Love the cabbage patch pic!! Too cute!
Small vent coming up, hope you don't mind....... Had a great night last night hanging out with friends but neither of my girls wanted to sleep :wall: So it felt like from 6.30am yesterday morning right until we were home and putting the girls to bed after midnight I was switched on without a mental break............its these moments where I am really not interested hearing about how relaxed a day DH had at work........!!! :( Then when DD#2 eventually fell asleep, DD#1 was being a complete ratbag and through a toy in the porta cot and banged the side to get her little sisters attention!!! Unbelievable!! Then I had to do a massive clean up of DD#2 as she has been pooing every second day which of course makes for a large deposit ;) and it came out on the way home and boy did it come out!!!!! :wall: Then of course, DH goes to work today and its another one of those relaxed days for him and I'm home with two tired girls!!!
It really is a bit of a shock as DD#1 as a baby would chow down no worries from 6 months on wards and sleep anywhere in her porta cot........DD#2 can't really be bothered with solids atm and she is officially 7 months tomorrow and its a long task of getting her to sleep if we are out and about or even if we have visitors.........social butterfly!
Okeedokee, vent over...........just really tired that's my problem right now but by the time I can get that 'alone' moment, its around 8.30/9pm-ish and all I want to do is crash.........yeesh!
Alrighty, DD#1 keeps coming over to me asking me to play so best go be her 'hair doll' so she can be a pretend hairdresser, teehee!!
Hope everyone is well! Are you back yet Jen???
Oh and Celsie - thanks so much for your reply in the toilet training threads! I really appreciated it! xx
Mwa!!

Hi Everyone!!!
Long time no post! I thought I'd put a post on here to let everyone know I'm back .. then catch up with the thread .. alot of reading to do! I have moved interstate and am in the process of unpacking ... fun stuff! We also went on a holiday for 4 weeks over the Christmas break to the inlaws and it was lovely .. but it is nice to be home iykwim :)
Kenzie is just a bundle of joy!! She has one tooth (23rd of December) so was nice it came through before Christmas so she wasnt so grizzly. She is *almost* crawling now and I can't leave her for even 1 second with out her reaching grabbing or pulling something that is not for babies! She has a toy shop on the floor most days .. but always goes for the non baby items in the lounge! Its challenging unpacking and is taking 1000 times longer than it should but... we will get there!
Lately she is just stuck to me like glue! She cries when she goes to anyone else (even daddy) and cried when I walk out the room. She would be hopeless in child care Im so glad Im a stay at home mum for the next 5 years till she starts school. Looking forward to taking her to playgroup though.
I will do personals a little later when I have caught up on the thread sionce my last post. Can't wait to read what everyone is up to!
:heartbeat:
Jen
-
Hi Girls,
Welcome back Jen! What a big job moving interstate.
Teepee - I can't believe Mikayla's pictures! What a cheeky madam! I showed DH and said she is only 2 days older than Lewis. He panicked when he knew he will be doing the same soon enough!
Lewis has been sleeping for nearly 2 hours, I'm just waiting for him to wake up so I can go shopping for my new diet! I'm calling it the final phase as I want to be back to my original weight for Lewis's christening next month. It's one of those low GI diets where you eat veg soup for 3 days and then start introducing other foods. Can't wait...NOT!
Lewis has got a new smile! I presume it's because he has teeth now but he has started doing one of those cute grins where his lips are tight together and his nose wrinkles up! He looks so cheeky especially as his cheeks look like ping pong balls!
Hope you are all well.

Hi everyone
Well, we've had quite a good weekend. On Saturday Diana went to her friend's third birthday party. It was quite good, not as hectic as I expected, although I think all the parents were secretly thinking that there wasn't enough alcohol, lol. It was good though. She was too little to play with the other kids. One little boy tired to play with her, picked her up, then put her down and she tipped over and hit her head on the floor. Poor little thing, and poor little boy, he kind of ran away after that. Still all good.
Yesterday, Diana managed a three hour sleep during the day. Woo hoo! I managed to sleep for two of those hours and felt so refreshed afterwards (and then exhausted myself doing housework all evening :wall:). Diana then wouldn't go to sleep at night. Sigh. So I had to carry her around in the sling while I did the cooking, laundry, etc. At one point Diana started pulling on my top and bra, telling me that she wanted breastmilk. What a clever little girl! After a feed, she went to sleep for a few hours (thankfully), before waking up again at midnight. So all in all, I'm not sure if that long lay sleep was worth it. It was brilliant at the time though.
Welcome back Jen - Diana is like Kenzie - she has lots of toys, but always goes for the one non-baby thing that I have forgotten to get out of her reach!
Sarah - what's Lewis's website password?? I'm sure I've asked this before, but where abouts in Sydney are you? Good luck with your diet. :)
Hi to everyone else.
-
Hi everyone. Back from the Hunter and already wishing we could go on another holiday!!
Mikayla was really good - she had a great first holiday! She slept right through the night in her portable cot which was wonderful- I wish I could work out why she doesnt do that at home!!
Sarah I take back what I said before we left. Mikayla is now crawling properly . She was going a hundred miles an hour while we were away. I think it was the carpet that did it. We have tiles and floorboards in our house with a rug for her to play on but I think the cushiony surface encouraged her to take the plunge!! There really is no stopping her now
Oh and I mentioned that we were trying to get her to say dada... My parents came to the Hunter with us and all the way there in the car my mum was trying to get her to say it - then all of a sudden she started to say "baba". My mum would say "dada" and Mikayla would reply "baba". I'm sure she thinks she's saying it right. It was very cute but she hasnt shut up since :p We have a talkative little girl on our hands now! And... she's continuously trying to stand up - she pulls herself up onto everything!!!
Charly I hope the girls have settled down for you now and you've managed to get some well deserved rest
Jen great to hear from you and congrats on Kenzie's tooth - they're growing up so fast!!
Zofia - LOL at that poor little boy - he must have been mortified :D
Have any of the other bubs had bad dreams at all??? Mikayla seems to be really unsettled at night, crying and moaning in her sleep, and a couple of times has woken up and I've found her scrambling to get out of her cot (even did it in the portable cot the other day). When I pick her up she goes straight back to sleep on my shoulder but makes these little squinting faces in her sleep like she's seeing something scary! I cant imagine what she'd be dreaming about but I feel terrible for her. Not sure if she's in pain (possibly teething) or is just having bad dreams. Any insight???
My little munchkin is getting sleepy so better go put her to bed and hope she stays there for the night. Take care all xx
-
Tina - Woo hoo for Mikayla!!! Caeleb isn't even close to crawling! I'm SO jealous!!! I'm glad you had a lovely time away. A doctor told me about a month ago that crying out in the night is to do with teething. Maybe have a look for more teeth?!?
Starfish - how does Diana go sleeping at night? Is she good? If she is, then it kinda pays off for her not sleeping during the day, IYKWIM?
Sarah - have you got an outfit organised for Lewis yet? If so, are we able to get a sneak peak? If you haven't bought one yet and you're going to a traditional romper or gown, I highly suggest you stay away from raw silk. Caeleb's was and you can't get it dirty or wet in the slightest because it doesn't come out! His outfit was $250 (reduced from $400) and has massive drool marks on it, even though it's been dry cleaned. :(
*Jen* - Kenzie being clingy is normal at this age. They start to really understand the concept "Stranger Danger". All the books I've read suggest now is the best time to leave her with a trusted babysitter for a couple hours to try and avoid her being too clingy when she's older... worth a thought anyway.
Charly - I wanted to share with you a little trick someone taught me tonight. Caeleb is a bit like your DD# 2, with solids, he'll take them or leave them and is far more interested in what's going on with everyone else around him. So, tonight whilst trying to feed him some mashed veges, someone suggested giving him his own spoon, so he could "feed" himself (SUPER CUTE!!! He got it in his eye and up his nose, but had a ball) and while she's distracted trying to feed herself, pop a few extra mouthfulls in. Worked like magic!!! :D
I'm going to have to cut my post short. Caeleb has just woken up crying. Not sure what's wrong, might be a bit warm.
Will try to post again tomorrow.
Night ladies!

Thanks Celsie. Mikayla doesnt have any teeth yet so I wasnt too sure of the signs. Last night was a bad one again :( I've had a feel around but cant feel anything. Her gums are getting harder but the only ridges I can feel are on the sides.

Hi,
Teepee - When Lewis's bottom teeth came through, they came from towards the front at first, not on top of the gum so maybe she does have some on the way. ALso they come so quickly. His top left one wasn't even showing but it popped through the day after the right one. Lewis sometimes cries out in his sleep. I just thought he was dreaming of a big bath of milk, with lots of toys floating in. What else could they be thinking about?!
Celsie - You saying now is a good time to introduce a babysitter made me feel loads better about my MIL having him for 3 hours a week. And good too because I don't want him to be clingy.
Yes I have got the christening outfit sorted. It's an orthodox christening so they go to church in their normal clothes and then after the 'dunking in the font' they change them into his christening outfit. It doesn't have to be white, so we have got him the cutest little suit. It's a baby blue trousers and vest, with a chocolate brown shirt with baby blue polka dots on! And then we are having cupcakes to match, chocolate with baby blue icing! Plus all the ribbons, almonds etc are in the same colours too. I will definitely put photos up, in fact I have already taken one of him in the shirt so will put that on tonight.
Starfish - the password for Lewis's webpage is : password and the email is sarahchance2002@yahoo.com.au I am going to try and put some new photos on tonight.
I live in Rosebery not far from Baby Kingdom.
Anyway must go because I'm at work!

Thanks Sarah I'll have a better look at her gums. I have noticed that they are getting whiter so maybe your right and they're on the way!!
My poor little munchkin got her first bump today!!! She was standing up at the coffee table (pulling things out of the draw!!) and she fell backwards hitting her head on the tiles - she hit the floor so hard I heard the crack :( The weird thing was she didnt even cry! She had a whinge for a few seconds but that was it. I quickly put a bag of frozen peas on the back of her head but that didnt stop the nice big lump from popping up. My poor baby - the first of many bumps and bruises I'm sure!!!

Oh Teepee!! Poor little love! But you're right! The first of many, many, many, many, many..........etc! Lol! I can't believe she is crawling already!! That's huuuuge!!
Celsie - thanks so much for the tip! You're a real wealth of information hun! I really appreciate your posts! Mwa!! xx
MumofLewis - oh your little man is going to look so so adorable!!! Look forward to the pics! And I love how you are co-ordinating everything! That is such a great and special idea!! You're so clever! :p
Starfish - how's Diana going now? I hope you're not getting too exhausted!
DD#2 isn't crawling yet but can get where ever she feels the need to go! Hehe! But just today she has worked out how to push herself up on her hands and knees at the same time...so probably won't be too muchlonger and I'll behearing DD#1 call out, "Mum!!!!! She's got my toys! She won't leave me alone!!" :cryinglaugh: Woohoo!! Lol!!
Was laying on the rug this morning chatting with DH and DD#1 was crawling all over my head and chest and then I yelped as DD#2 had rolled over to my toes and bit them with her two sharp little teeth!! Yeouch!!
Well, really need a cuppa so might go grab one with a muffin (ooh, yummo!) whilst the girls are asleep...............bbl lovelies!

LOL Charly, Lewis pounced on my toes the other day too. I thought there must be a stray kitten in the house:lol:! He has also started doing some hilarious 'rocking actions' when on his hands and knees, let's just say he seems to be getting into practice for when he's much older!

Hi,
Just a quickie, I've updated Lewis's photo gallery on his web page, including his christening outfit that he will be wearing. If anyone fancies a look:

Ohhh Sarah that outfit is sooo cute!!! And Lewis looks very handsome!!!!
 My poor baby fell backwards again last night and hit her little head on the tiles for the second time in one day and this time she cried! I was so upset that i'd let it happen again. I got no sleep and kept checking on her all night to make sure she was ok. Just being an overly paranoid first time mum I guess but I was so worried she'd done some damage as both times she fell from a standing position so they were hard hits! I kept her awake for at least an hour afterwards and she wasnt vomiting so I knew she'd probably be ok but I couldnt help being anxious.
It didnt stop her from standing up though. She got straight back into it this morning. She even managed to stand up by holding onto my mums leg!!
Still no AF for me - over 10 days late now. Not sure if I want to re-test yet. Might wait another few days.
Charly sounds like DD#2 is ready to start the rocking action too! Its so funny to see them humping thin air isnt it - Mikayla did that for ages before she crawled - so cute!!
Well DH has just informed me that our little munchkin has done her 2nd poo tonight and it looks like its my turn so i'd better go.
Take care xx

Tina - hope Mikayla is okay after her 2nd fall. Ouch. Diana crawled/fell off our bed yesterday too (so two falls in two days for her too). Poor little girls. I suppose we better get used to it as they're going to get more bumps and scratches as they get more active... Hopefully that's as serious as its going to get though .
Sarah - Lewis's outfit is very cute and he looks great in it. I put a photo of Diana in her christening outfit on her website too.
Well, Diana is officially commando crawling. Its very cute to watch, but every time I put her down I have to make sure that there is nothing inappropriate/dangerous within her crawling range. Eeek! Going to have to get a playpen quickly I think. And she slept during the day today too. Woo hoo! Hopefully this will become a regular thing.

MumofLewis - awwwwwwwww!! How cute is that outfit?!?!? I love it!!! Oh and "practising for when he's older???" :cryinglaugh:
Starfish - and awwwwwwwww!! again! Diana looks so sweet!! And yay on her commando crawling and sleeping during the day!!
Oh I love the outfits girls!!!
Starfish & Teepee - oh your poor little girls!! Thinking of them! Man! The things our babies put us through! ;)
Teepee - DD#2 went up on her hands and knees today! But she looked like a turtle!! :cryinglaugh: Her hands were in fists and arms bent out to the side as she pushed herself up onto all fours and then for extra leverage, she used her head!!! LOL!! It looked so so funny!!
Sending you :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: love!! Crossing everything for you sweets!!!
DD#2 just cried out so went in and gave her a big cuddle which didn't actually help  Usually before bed I will give her a snuggle and she pops her thumb in her mouth and snuggles into me - it feels so special......but just then, she squealed and raised her voice at me, lol, and then not one minute after I left her room she went quiet! But while I was in there, she continued with her sad complaints....."just put me back to bed you silly woman!! Stop rocking me!! I'm tired!!" :p Oh too funny!
Time for bed! BBL!

Just a quick one from me to let you know that I'm alive! LOL
After a very hectic week, I've promised myself that I'm going to stay home and clean my house! Then, when the hard works is all done, I can enjoy my beautiful, clean home and relax in a spa with my gorgeous DH when he gets home tonight! :)
We had mother's group yesterday, which we both always really love. Caeleb is the ONLY baby in the group who still isn't crawling. And there is a baby who is 2 months younger than him who is! Oh well, I guess you can't be completely gorgeous AND crawl! LOL
He is also the only one to not have any teeth... LOL
We've disconnected the house phone, due to lack of use, so I'm using wireless broadband. Except, we're out of the 3G area, so it's dial up speed! BLAH! :(
Caeleb has started doing kisses. It involves his mouth wide open, with those fleshy gums coming at you like Jaws. LOL. He then latches on to a part of your face, either licking or sucking and pushes his face as hard as he can against yours. He then pulls off and I say... "Eww" or something like that, he laughs and does it all again! LOL TOO CUTE!!!
Okay, this will probably take half an hour to post, so I'll leave it there. I hope you're all well and happy!
Sarah - I will have a look at Lewis' outfit when I go in to the office next, as I'm connected to the network, which is BROADBAND! *sigh*
