doudou, I wanted 6.5cm blocks the second time as it was suppose to give me the correct overall size as oppossed to 6.5inch blocks which made a nice lap quilt for DD.

Kate - thanks hon. I ended up deciding to do 6.5inch blocks with a 1/4inch allowance on each side (as set by the foot on my machine - I LOVE this feature!). This time I have done 3 blocks across and 5 rows - this looks to be big enough for a toy cot and still be able to "tuck baby in"... I've finished sewing my blocks together... now I have to work out how to finish it! Arg!
